The dairy Queen in Shelby North carolina, has always gotten a grade of A plus plus plus plus. The food has always been really great and they have one thing that must hamburger joints don't and that is chili and great ice cream. I start going to that dairy Queen in 1982 and it is always gotten a great grade for me. And the upgrade on the building was great too. I would advise anybody looking for just you know a hamburger place with good ice cream which makes good shakes, this is the place you want to go

Always AMAZING everytime me and my wife visit here. We always get the chicken tender basket! The gravy and bread is one of my favorite things about the meal! Also their ranch is so amazing and if I'm not mistaken made in house! Really good food and staff is always friendly when we visit. Oh and their sides are amazing too! The cheese curds are a MUST TRY!

This place needs management help and leadership! I waited in the drive thru for over 30 minutes just to get an ice cream. When I finally got to the window, there are 5 employees standing around talking. I waited all that time to be handed a half melted blizzard, no napkins or anything. Absolutely terrible service. I don’t understand how they stay in business operating like that.

Two times back to back my order has been wrong. I even decided to go inside which did not help. There were 10 to 12 employees present. Not going to say working because not all was. Some was just standing around watching OR texting/talking on their phones. Customer service inside and drive thru is terrible. Not sure if we are going back to the Shelby store.

What happened tonight?! The cashier was rude, so rude that the woman behind us left and we all left and went to get a milkshake at the Burger King next door.We drove 30 min to get a milkshake, she inform us that the milkshake machine was down for the summer (which is weird for a place that specializes in milkshakes and ice cream). So I just wanted to a shake for my son...holy monkey that girl was rude. We're niver coming back.

Wait staff is slow. One girl behind counter didn't look hard enough to see that a customer's order was waiting there for 5 mins! Then she started spouting off because of Door Dashers! Sorry but those Door Dasher help make your pay day sweetheart! Not very professional!

I will not be going back!!! I waited 30 mins in drive through the wait was so long my dog was whining NOT TO MENTION that when we finally got to the window I was severed cold food.. I gave it back to the girl at the window she asked me to pull up and I refused to do that heck I have already waited 30 mins it was 7:43 when I ordered my food didn't reach the window until 8:09 PM recieved my food at 8:14pm WORST EXPERIENCE EVER for food.. because when she did give my food back there was no difference I HAD TO COME HOME AND MICROWAVE FOOD I JUST PAID DOR FOR TO HAVE COOKED. I could not eat the chicken sandwich for it doesn't look like real chicken

My granddaughter said her food was delicious too. The cashier that took my card was really nice to me after I tried to pass her window lol. I didn’t see her. Good food

Don’t waste your time and money purchasing an ice cream birthday cake from this place. They gave me the wrong size and as not to be difficult I took it just to drive home 8 minutes for a completely melted cake. Ordered a plain hot dog and all I got was bread! Seriously?! Never going back.

Good* fast food, but ultimately not worth the trouble unless you go through the drive-thru. Wait times inside could almost be considered absurdest comedy and staff range from rude to emotionally dead to braindead.EDIT, 04/14/2024: That's funny, I went to write a review about my experiance today and it turns out I ALREADY wrote my exact thoughts im currently having about a year ago. Even the food was mediocre at best this time, making things WORSE. The only "improvements" are that they accidentally gave me extra fries, and the cashier, at least, was relatively polite. What a joke.

Great food great service. You have to try a new cotton candy dipped cone. It's amazing! We come here 2 or three times a month and every time service and food are on point.
