Aldi stores had my attention when they first came out. The stores were clean and selection of products was very good. I really liked the prices on their products. It just seems to me stores do this and start out lower in prices to get the customer and then jack the prices up to be just under the big name stores for their little stores. I choose quality over quantity anytime. When it comes to prices I want the best for my buck and I will continue to shop at my regular stores and save Aldi as a back up to my stores. I'm not saying anything is wrong with Aldi it's just not my main choice of stores. This is just my opinion and thank you.

I'm not usually an Aldi shopper but after today I think that's going to change. I went to my regular grocery store today and saw that the prices had gone up almost 50% on some items so I decided to give Aldi a try and I'm so glad I did. The store was clean, the prices were reasonable, and the staff was very nice. The checkout line was pretty long so they opened up two more registers and then apologized for the long lines. If you're on a budget, and don't mind buying items that aren't the usual name brand, then you should give this store a try. I brought along my own bags but they did have some available for ninety-eight cents. The only thing they don't carry that I needed was some pet food but I found that at another store for a much more reasonable price than what they were asking at my usual place. They have a great selection of breads and the meat looked very good too. If like me you're on a budget you should definitely try this store.

Decent place to shop for groceries. I don't like the fact you have to put a quarter in the buggy to unlock it. Also you have to pay for your own bags... smh.

Also, clean well organized. Great prices, lots of new different items to try that I've be never ate before that are very healthy.A bit of warning if you buy veggies or fruits, do eat them quickly dont let them sit around a few days, cause they will go bad quick.They have specials alot, non perishable items, small appliances, kitchen gadgets, clothes,toys. It changes each month.Friendly atmosphere and employees are very helpful.Now they have pick up service, that's pretty cool. Although, I've never used this convenience. But those that choose too,S say its really convenient and fast. I have family that uses that.A very good location in my hometown.

They have great prices on basic items. They do not carry many name brands, but their store brands are good. You can't beat their price on eggs and milk. It's a small store, so selection is limited on items like produce. They have added self-checkout, which seems to have helped with the long lines.

The only thing I would say needs improvement is how the staff respond to their customers... As an RN, we very seldom get off work in time to get to the grocery store before it closes... That being said, I HAD to get groceries after work.. Which ended up being 15 minutes before closing time. I hurried as quickly as possible, but still felt rushed to get out of the store. I kept asking for help to find bags/boxes to put my groceries in, but I was either ignored or told they were out if bags and ALL the boxes were being "broke down." I had to put ALL my groceries loose in my trunk.. I was pretty disappointed with the service... But as always I did end up getting 3/4 a buggy full for only $99.00! I guess in the end you gotta weigh the good with the bad.....😕

The Aldi in Shelby NC has terrible customer service. An associate standing at the end of the counter told us, several people, that lane was closing. We all went to other lane where the line is now long and she proceeds to stand there talking to some one then let’s another person go through that same line she just said was closed. I spoke up she made excuses then let other people go through that line. She was rude and unprofessional and I doubt I’ll visit this store again!!

Good place for inspections and maintanance. Not so good on the troubleshooting. Took my truck there for a nice in the front end. Said it was the heat shield vibrating against the motor. Took it to a Ford specialist and he found the problem.

Even though Aldi prices have gone up, you can still find some very good deals here. When I visited today, I was tight on funds. But I only spent $22 and I filled up 2 grocery bags. The trick is to shop carefully and stick to store brands.

Excellent place to shop.Yes, they do have some off-brand items. From my perspective, they are better than the name brands AND at lower prices.The vast majority of their food selections are MSG free. That is important to me.

I love this store! They have a lot to choose from and some cool stuff to try out not to mention that the prices are great. I haven't had very many encounters with the employees other than when I check out but they are always very nice and efficient.

I have lived here for four years and this is the only second time I have visited this store. I was surprised how big an nice the produce section was displayed. The store was well stocked although they did not have what I wanted which was Gino's pizza. As you probably know to get a quarter for a cart and get it back when you return the cart. I could not figure how to return it with their chains so I just left for the next person...my good deed for the day.
