Home Depot in Shallotte North Carolina has been my go to store since the day I moved here. Always helpful and knowledgeable of what is in their store. Today a Home Depot employee Margie helped us out on some tile . Her quick memory knew exactly what tile it was and that it was discontinued but still had some in stock. Thank you Margie for going above and beyond to help out some customers.

This is the kind of review you get when you're trying to trick people with bad business practices. Putting something on sale, and then restricting the purchasing options, so that people have to pay a $35 delivery charge on something that costs $20- that is INSANE. Especially when you've made it the only option to purchase. Absolutely ridiculous. I usually go to Lowe's and was just trying something different, but my family, my business, and I will be going back to Lowe's.

very friendly staff here. Always willing to help and they never seem frustrated if what you are looking for is on the other side of the store. I love the gardening center personally. Great, well-maintained selection. They also have some nice, affordable outdoor furniture.

I'm giving 5 stars today for the customer service we received. Aquail helped us at self checkout ( which we do NOT normally use) because the young lady at the service desk was busy and sent us there. He did an excellent job with our possibly confusing transaction. He handled it like a champ, was so nice, polite, and knowledgeable. I hope he gets a raise for 1) showing up at work and 2) his wonderful demeanor.While I hope I have the attention of some management, just wanted to say that while Home Depot is generally not my favorite store (because it's usually dirty and dusty), I AM glad there is one close by.

Shallotte store had a few but he found the mother lode of it at another store for us, even checked that the price was the same as their sale price (and it was, yay!) Thank you for going the extra mile, it's truly appreciated.

Ms. Denise (I believe that's her name) in the paint department and Ms. Emily at the registers are so nice!! I accidentally came in close to closing and they still helped me past their closing time. Now the room looks wonderful!!!!! I appreciate them very much. Will be coming back for all my painting needs.

I have been purchasing and using paint for over 35 years professionally. I have shopped in this store well over 10 years. Sadly, the paint dept is being managed very poorly. The employees are rude and rigid. Poorly trained and insistent that they know all. I am writing this after multiple issues over the last 6 months. I hope they have a positive change soon.There have been some improvements recently. They have hired new people and it is better.

Waited at the paint department for 20 mins with no one ever coming to help us. Even had someone at the check line call over the intercom. No show. Had other stuff I was purchasing but ended up putting everything back and went to Lowe’s. This was on a Friday night at 7:30 pm.

Amazing customer service! I had a problem with a patio door I had purchased from this store, and they immediately offered a replacement solution that was even better than what I had hoped for -- and saved me so much money and time! You don't find that kind of customer service these days!

I am at this home Depot almost daily. I have yet to find an associate who isn't happy and eager to help. Hats off to the managers there. Happy employees are a reflection of strong leadership.

The instore experience was very good and most helpful. I bought a dishwasher and made arrangements for delivery and "Installation ". Warning: Always ask them what installation entails for the price they charge.Remember, they are sending out delivery men not Handymen or plumbers etc. I wasn't sure how they would handle the installation of a dishwasher as it wasn't something you just plug in. I could've done that.They delivered around lunch time. Looked at the previous plumbing setup and told me Id have to get a plumber or someone else. And they didn't take my old dishwasher sitting in the hallway which I had disconnected and removed.Now I did get a refund for Installation charges and removal of old unit. The Customer service lady was knowledgeable and quick.But their installation claims are misleading and time wasting as I had to Later try to get somebody to do the proper installation. So buyer be aware. Be very aware...

Absolutely the worst customer service you can expect. Order from another store. You may get better service. But it would be probably better, for customer efficiency, to order from Lowe’s.Their pricing is much better, and their customer service is amazing.

Ordered a refrigerator and it arrived dented and damaged. Customer service cancelled multiple service appointments for condenser issues afterwards. Do NOT buy appliances from Home Depot - go to Lowe’s.

The workers are very friendly and super helpful. I asked them for the location of some specific items that I needed and they knew exactly which aisle that they were in. They know exactly what they are doing and where things are. One of the best hardware stores ever!

The one star is for there big Appliance extended warranty they say they can't fine me in there system I have sent them copies of all emails and paper work that i have still won't fix our gas range.......Bestbuy for sure next time.....

I have been shopping at this store for more than fifteen years and it has been a good store to find a great variety of alternatives for people involved in house projects. Their customer service is very good!This is an update 07-04-2022: Home Depot is still my favorite, but I wish they increase their inventory on screws type and choices. This is a good area for them to do better.

I went looking for molding, and this home Depot associate was Re-stocking some lumber when I asked him if they carried composite molding, and this very nice courteous man walked us over to the area where it was and we were able to get what I needed to complete my task. I'm sorry I didn't get his name but it was a text book encounter between associate/customer relation one might expect, and I was very impressed. Thank you.

I have an injured leg in my leg in a cast. I am a pro contractor and have been coming here for six years. Never would I have thought that I would be stopped by an employee pushing carts and kept from going into the store because I didn't have a shoe on my foot rather than argue. employee's name was Rodney he was an older gentleman and instantly stopped me as soon as I got out of my truck he could also see the cast it was bright orange. The time was 7:13 p.m. Friday the 18th.

Really customer service. Prices for the flowering trees was pretty decent for the 7 and 8 foot selection. The bathroom wasn't so nice, needed to be mopped, counters cleaned, it smelled like.......#2. Needs a bit better ventilation.

An older gentlemen that says his job was to get carts normally, helped me through my whole shopping trip today. He knew where everything in the store was even though we both didnt have our cell phones lol. Really nice guy, I hope he gets a raise soon!
