Service was too expensive, much more so than other places around here. Also, the girl who groomed my dog was inexperienced and it was obvious she needs more training. My bichon's nails do not look like they were touched at all, yet I was charged for it. For an inexperienced groomer, two hours isn't long enough to do a good job on a $90 package for my little dog. I won't be going back.

I have a 20 pound Lhasa Apso Poodle mix. Took him to Petsense to get him groomed. Picked him up, no problem. Called to get him groomed again a few months later, no, he's too difficult. Wasn't told there was any problems when I picked him up the first time. Was told the groomers can't "piece meal" groom him, that is, groom him for 5 or 10 minutes at a time until he's groomed. Was told they cannot give him treats, which he responds well to, to help groom him. He's not THAT difficult to groom because I've groomed him myself, and I usually do. These people are like most every dog groomer around here. They pick and choose the easiest dogs to groom and they won't groom dogs that give them any problem. They give you the excuse that they don't want to excite the dog, but they don't do anything (like treats) to keep the dog calm, nor will they piece meal groom the dog. I won't buy a thing from Petsense in the future. Trust me, I understand how difficult some dogs can be to groom, but you have to work with the dog, and that is something Petsense groomers don't do. The groomers at Petsense are just not competent groomers. They only take the easy dogs to groom because they want the easy money and of course, no liability for dogs that aren't as easy to groom. Don't respond Petsense. I'll groom this vicious 20 pound killer myself and you'll never see me dart your doors again.

Incredible customer experience. Always treated as if I was the only customer in the store. Great variety of food, toys, and supplies. Shelly got an oatmeal bath in the salon every couple of weeks due to her itchy skin. Molly got her periodic baths too. The team is kind and caring!

Would give zero if I could. My wife went here to pick out a cat for our daughter while I was at work and some green haired lady told her that since we had a toddler we had to much on our plate to also take care of a cat. Not to mention if you are a female without a male with you good luck adopting an animal. Apparently females have to have permission from their husbands to adopt an animal according to short little lady. So just a heads up to anyone looking to adopt if you are a female and have a toddler be prepared to ask your husband for permission first. Terrible service do not recommend.

My dog is sick and there was a very nice employee that helped me find what i could giver her to help make her feel better we need more people like that employee in this world. She didn’t make me feel like it was my fault my dog was sick like most pet stores do and I felt like I could relate to her so thank you petsense!!

I made an appointment for my 2 Maltese a month in advance with groomer Heather. Took forever to check them in. Was told I would receive a text when she started working on each one and then would receive a text when they were done. 5 hours later I called to check on them and the girl said let me see IF THEY ARE HERE! She got back on the phone and said the first one was about to be groomed. They were finally done 7+ hours after I dropped them off. Both of them used the bathroom as soon as they got outside! And they both drank a ton of water when they got home. Obviously for 5 hours or more they were left in a cage with no water or care whatsoever. THEY WILL NEVER BE BACK AGAIN!!!! Debby that used to work there was awesome 2 hours and they were both done!

I can’t speak about the store itself. It looks nice enough but the groomer there is horrible. We took my four month old Golden doodle in for a bath, trim and nails trimmed. They didn’t touch his nails and they completely cut all of his hair off except his face. He looks like skinned rat. He had beautiful red curly hair under his baby hair. I thought they would just trim the baby hair off but this is horrible. If you love your dog don’t go here for a trim. If I could give negative stars it would be -5

I’d give no stars if I could. Horrible experience trying to adopt a kitten while there with my 2 yr old. She was so excited about the kittens and has been talking about kittys for months now. She grabbed some cat food in he hand tried to feed the kittens. Then put the rest in the empty bowl next to it. She’s 2. Not a big deal. Their employee there said “don’t do that” “don't touch that” like what she was doing was hurting something. I was then handed paper work to fill out and overheard them talking about “the small child” playing with the cat food.(like she’s not gonna try to feed the cat at home??) Then was denied getting a kitten because “I have my hands full” and “my husband wasn’t there to pick out the cat with me” “I have other applicants” “are you going to have help with the cat” and the icing on the cake. “YOU SHOULD LET THE KID GROW UP FIRST”. I’m not really sure why I was refused because I have a 2 year old who was so excited. Even picked a collar out. And when we left she was crying for “Kiki”. I’m 27 years old. I can take care of myself my husband and a cat…. My kid was just excited to pick out a kitty.

Here's just a simple small example. 6 volt batteries for a dog collar are located at Walmart for $7 for a two pack this store charges $22 for a two pack of batteries inflation much? I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. Unless you want to pay 2 times the price. That you would be paying anywhere else. Figure it out it's wrong of you. We work too hard keep being scammed by corporations like this

Seen they had 7 minutes to closing and I forgot I needed mealworms for my gecko ( going to buy food at Lowe's ) so I ran in and the guys working was so helpful & nice. I had an easy last sale for them at the last minute. Thanks you guys, y'all was awesome.

The store is nice but the 2 employees we saw needs to be nicer. The guy at the cashier didn't even acknowledge us. We had an appointment for our dog to get her nails clipped. Waited in the room for a few minutes before the lady came out from the back. Not a hi, nothing. She did not even acknowledge our dog like other places do. Told my husband he can hold her. There was hair on the table. She pushed it off with her hand. Never bothered to clean it. Will not return. Nicer people at Pet Smart.

Why don’t reviews offer negative stars? While the staff was nice, my Miniature Schnauzer’s groom was ATROCIOUS!! I asked for a “teddy bear” muzzle and my dog now looks like a mutt. Doesn’t resemble a Schnauzer at all. It’s awful. The groomer completely removed her “eyebrows” her snout is short and choppy and the body cut is uneven. Is there a good groomer anywhere? If you love your dog, don’t go here.

Great little local pet store we happened upon while eating in the area. They had everything we needed from cat and dog food, treats and toys. They also have cats up for adoption as well. Will definitely return.

Called about a nail trim for my dog. He was very short and just said we only do it two days a week. We are short staffed!! You will have to call back!!
