You couldn't Learn from ATMCs mistakes??? The power briefly goes out and I lose my phone. These stupid boxes do not work as advertised. I was told if the power went out my service would stay intact bc of the BATTERY. But reallly what happens is every time the power goes out I have to reset everything, including taking out the useless battery and putting it back in. I hate the Arris modem or whatever. And I hate FOCUS. WE ARE PAYING ALL THIS MONEY FOR ROLLING BLACKOUTS AND BEING TOLD OLD USERS ARE PUSHED OFF THE SERVICE SO NEW MEMBERS GET BETTER SERVICE. What is wrong with the people in this county? You call yourself a nonprofit well then where does All of our Money go???Oh sorry but I had to add, a tech told me not to tell anyone that all the security systems get interrupted too. Opps. I shouldn't accidentally tell everyone that when the power flickers or goes out, your security system is down too. So I hope after that power flicker everyone's system gets back online okay.

As long as you don't have issues you'll be fine. Been paying for gig internet for a few years now and still can't get it to work right half the time. Been through 4 or 5 service calls as well. Called today to get a very rude customer support person. They want a blood sample when you call before they will discuss any issues..lol.

I sold my house in July and called the company to discontinue the service. They continued to charge my account (automatic payments from my bank account) I didn’t realize they were charging me until January. They charged me for 7 months after I told them to discontinue the service. They are very unethical as they know that I sold the house but continued to take money from my bank account. I am going to press charges.

Outstanding service! We had just moved temporarily and my son had homework due. The guys stayed until they could get it up and running. It was an 1hr after his time to clock out. Another co-worker had to bring more equipment. ABOVE AND BEYOND!!

Worst internet connection you will ever have. Good luck trying to call in and speak with someone because you will be on hold for a hour or more. If you hit the 1 button for a call back you will be put on hold immediately. 1 mbps download speed but pay 84 dollars for 1gb.

The agent was business like yet friendly. He realized we have problems in our area and he made sure we were satisfied before he left. He left us his phone number to reach him should there be further problems .

Literally, the most horrible Internet service I have ever had. If it wasn’t for my location and not having another choice… I would never have used them. I have never been late nor missed a payment and the one month I needed to put the bill off for a week because my pay schedule shifted. They disconnected my Internet without even notifying me at all. And then charged me a $30 fee to reactivate it… We are always losing signal and this is by far the worst Internet service provider you could ever imagine. Do not… I repeat, do not use this service unless you have no other options like us.

Had an issue with my wifi and they were able to get someone to my house within 2hrs of calling and the tech who showed up was super nice and polite and made sure my wifi was up in running before he left.

We had to change from TV boxes to merge TV. The focus representative was a very nice young man. He made it easy for an old to understand how it works. So far it is working fine, no issues.

Merge TV is unreliable. It is always rebooting. It always loses the signal. You call service they seem to brush you off and don’t really care, there is no Customer Sevice. They were so much better when they were ATMC. They change their name they took away. They’re good service, and their customer service is not there no more..It has been 11 months since this review and my service is still just as bad as the first day they installed it. Merge TV is a joke it does not work. My TV is always rebooting itself. It’s always freezing up all the time at all hours during the day or at night, I called them about the problem and they always have an excuse when they come out what’s wrong with it but then it just keeps doing the same thing they don’t know what they’re doing. They should’ve stuck with their coaxial cable system that worked great. Merge TV is a joke and they don’t know what they’re doing.

We are new to Focus and so far, I have to say it is great service! Real customer service! So rare these days to be able to make a call and speak to a local person! That alone is worth more than I know how to say.The installers were great as well. Very efficient!In the process a hose nozzle was accidentally damaged and we received a text message from the installer with a snapshot of our nozzle and the brand new one he purchased to replace ours. We were very impressed and grateful.And, the internet signal has been great!

This is the best internet provider we have ever had. We have had excellent customer service the very few times we have needed them. The technicians are very efficient at identifying and fixing the issue in a timely manner. They are also very polite. They call before they come, arrive when they say they will and care about getting you back in service as quickly as possible. I highly recommend Focus Broadband to all of my neighbors and friends, every chance I get.

The technician came to our house quickly and found the issue with our internet. He also went above and beyond by noticing another issue that was going to cause problems in the future and fixed that. Ray was polite and courteous. It is so nice to see that customer security e matters to some companies still.

We have from time-to-time spoken with billing, repair / outage, installation, or trouble-shooting services as customers, have been treated with kindness, efficient responses, and always resolution to our challenge(s). It is truly a well-operated and managed enterprise, staffed by people who take pride in their work. The customer service was outstanding! Kristen Isenhour was amazing to work with! The system has been running nonstop like a sewing machine! Technician, Matt Wood was outstanding as well! Professional, on time, and knowledgeable!! It’s a must have out in these rural areas!! Fire sticks, security systems, cameras…you will need this fiber network!! Bye bye AT&T who had no competition for decades!! And saving almost half the cost as well!! I love FOCUS!!

Customer service tried to resolve my problem over the phone and cd not. The rep was great and spent several minutes working on it. He notified fief support.who arrived as promised. I had a wiring problem which he immediately identified and resolved. He was great.

We've had ATMC/ Focus for over a decade only because it's the only option in Sunset Harbor. It's been one thing after another. Internet is fine for a month or so then messes up constantly. I call and they come out (pretty quickly on the bright side) and say it's fixed. Then a month later rinse and repeat endlessly. Then they tell me I need to switch from cable to merge and getting rid of cable will help internet performance. Stupidly I agree and now even the one reliable thing they offered, cable, is Gone too. Internet has gone out 4 days in a row now and the technician says it's probably the modem. Modems only 6 months old and this will be like 3 in 2 years. He says internet sucks back in here. Then why is focus doing away with cable if they can't give us a steady signal? I'm so tired and frustrated
