Do NOT buy a used boat from these guys! Bought a used boat from them, told me it runs great and floats. Granted I did not expect a warranty on an old 30 year boat. But don't tell me that it floats, runs, great, and no scratches or dings on it. I'm a wounded Veteran that can't easily climb up under boats and probably should have had someone do it for me instead of taking their word for it. Took the boat out, (plug was in!)and started to take on water, and realized it when it wouldn't get up on plane. Felt sluggish like it had too much weight. It was only me and my son on the boat. Not heavy enough, so obviously I checked for water coming in the hull. Sure enough it was, luckily we made it back to the dock. There are four holes in the fiberglass hull! I can fix that. But the reason you shouldn't buy from them is the fact that when I called up there and talked to Tim, before I could finish explaining about the holes he cut me off and said "yeah we can't guarantee anything on used especially old used boats. It floated for us. Put some silicone on it!" Then said bye. Not once did he say I'm sorry, or try and come up with a solution like bring it up here and we'll put silicone on it since it needs to come off the trailer to do it. Well he didn't know enough about the problem to even suggest something like that. My fault for not climbing underneath, but if they will treat a Purple Heart veteran like this, they'll treat anyone like this! I took this boat out on Phelps lake, a sandy bottom lake. The pictures show that it was ran across some rock or something hard in a sideways manner.

DO NOT BUY PARTS from these people. Unless you know EXACTLY what part you need for your boat! Told them my VIN ordered the part, installed it myself with the parts they told me to use. Get on the lake flip the ballast switches and of course these stupid people sent me the wrong part. And then they wouldn’t own up to their mistake and send us the correct parts on them. Long story short. Do your own research, buy parts direct to avoid ridiculous mark up, and install the part your self. I wouldn’t trust them to do anything

This place has a big variety of gear for your boat. And your fishing stuff!!They do care enough to take time to track down a customer who had a boat recall issue. And fixing it was efficient. Nice people.

Brought 2 jet skis there and we were told they have quick turn around and it would be around 2 weeks max. We asked them to look them over and give us a call with where we were at and how much money it would be to get them fixed. We never heard from them in that 2 week span, so we reached out. When we got them on the phone, they said they needed to order parts that would be $570, which we paid on the phone that day- with the hope this would get things moving along. We then asked how much do we owe after that when we pick them up, and they said it would be around $650 dollars is a rough estimate. So at this point we are looking at around $1200 total. Well, we didn’t hear from them again after that. It’s been a month at this point. We called to check in to see if the parts had come in and if they were done with the skis. They said, still waiting on parts and they were backed up now. So we called again the following week to give them some time to get it done. During this phone call, we were told the jet skis were ready and just needed to be water tested. Still no communication on their part, we so call again the following week to see if the water test had been complete so we could pick up. When we called they said a part still hadn’t come in and they weren’t done (which is completely opposite from what we had been told the week prior). So we called back a week later and they STILL had not been finished. So now we are 2 months in at this point and they are not done. We get a phone call the following week letting us know they are ready (this is the first time they have initiated contact). Showed up with the $650 as previously discussed. I was informed on arrival that the bill was now $1370. Without any phone call, no update on cost, and no consent from us, our bill somehow climbed to $1370 owed on top of the parts, rather than the $650 previously mentioned at the beginning. When I addressed it, the manager and owner were extremely rude, raised their voices, and told us they they were “tired of hearing what I had to say,” and said, “you will pay it if you want to get your skis back.” Keep in mind, we asked them to call us along the way to let us know if the bill would increase or if any work needed to be done aside from what we had previously discussed. We were never reached out to. We called several times, and this new price jump was never shared. Absolutely terrible experience. Will not be back. Don’t waste your time!

10/10 recommended for boat rental. All the staff I contacted were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful all the way around with all of my questions explaining the process etc. They made it easy from the booking process, to drop off and pick up. Thoroughly went over the boat with me showing me all of the controls and where all necessities were. Definitely look forward to future rentals!

Everything with the sale of the boat went great. Once we decided to sell our boat is when we ran into some issues. We tried calling multiple times over the span of a month. When we finally reached someone they said they would get back to us. We had to reach out again 2 weeks later. Talked to the same sales manager and he was somewhat rude trying to tell us we are asking too much. After not hearing back for the second time 2 or 3 weeks after that, we decided to sell the boat on our own.

Kyle and his team were awesome. Will def rent pontoon from them again. Very punctual and informative. Boat was brand new and fully equipped. Thru have us tube and ski rope to use gratis. No doubt great experience. Lake Hyco getting more of our time moving ahead. Hidden gem.

Do not buy any preowned inventory from this place. Scammed us on a jet ski… bought it and put it in the water but the engine was no good so we brought it back and they acted like they didn’t know who we were. Go somewhere else it’ll be cheaper & better quality elsewhere.

We are new to the whole boating universe and NC Marine was one of the dealerships we reached out to. So glad that we did. Pete was quick to respond to all my inquiries and concerns. There were no pressures or hassles. These guys truly love the outdoors and you can tell that they want you to love and experience it as they do. When it was time to pick up the boat the entire crew was extremely patient and kind. Despite all my anxieties and lack of knowledge, Pete and Sean were able to ease my nerves. They helped me practice trailering to the lake and launching/loading the boat for the first time. They did everything to make me feel comfortable and calm. We got a chance to enjoy our boat this past weekend and had such an amazing and memorable time on the lake and we have NC Marine to thank for that!!

This place is great! I consistently experience wonderful people that go out of their way to help me get my boat ready each season. I have had others work on my boats in the past and was always left feeling like they didn't give 100%. Brandon was incredible! We had called him on the way back from Charlotte after a miserable experience with another dealer and Brandon was able to have the boat, accessories we asked for, and all of the paperwork ready for our new boat by the time we arrived. Grateful Brandon was courteous enough to stay with us after hours to ensure we were able to have our new Heyday before the holiday weekend! Really disappointed. Initially asked them to come out and take a look at my Malibu that was taking on water. After phone call, they assured me they prioritize hyco customers. I met tech who identified water coming in from rope seal. He didn't have the wrench to tighten it up. Assured me he would get it taken care of. I have tried calling texting with tech and emailing Shane at least 5 times without response. This started over a month ago now and still hasn't been addressed.... Pretty frustrating as I was really hoping for a good local shop. Horrible communication.

My husband and I purchased a new Montego Bay pontoon in April of 2016. We worked with the Sales Maanger, Cameron.Cameron was fairly new to White Lake Marine but he went above and beyond to answer our questions and helped us secure easy financing to get our boat delivered quickly!!He was a real cool guy with a very personable attitude!! We did meet a few of the other staff as well and they were all great.In the future if we decide to purchase another boat we will go to them first!! We love our new boat and are so glad that we purchased from them!!
