The tractor supply in Selma, NC is very poorly managed. They cannot keep products in stock. I have been there on at least 5 occasions where they were constantly out of the feed and hoof care products I needed for my animals. I do not recommend shopping here, take you business elsewhere.

I went in the store and grabbed a gift card, and walked out. The manager came to my car window and snatched the card out of my hand, and I said I couldn't do that. Why? The card has no value until purchased. Why does it matter that I took a gift card with a little red truck with a Christmas tree in the back. Very poor customer service.

I just wanted to say that the manager here named Donald is the BEST!!! He is the nicest person, so cheerful:) also there are a bunch of employees that were here today around 6:30 that are great! Always being so nice and helpful. Glad this place brought in some people who actually care about their customers, makes a world of difference. So if you see Donald and his team give them a few kind words about the great job they are doing:)

Charged me $109 for item that was listed on website at $89. Exact same item. That's false advertising anyway you look at it. Poor business practice. Check online price before handing them your money.

Just got a safe from here, the safe had a couple dings in it and the manager proceeded to tell me there were no more safes left. In which there was two left on the sales floor, and then only wanted to give me 10 percent off and was rude as could be. When yet I had just been here prior and she discounted another safe $200 where as I just got this one on sale and only recieved $30 back. She was extremely rude both times I've been to this location and I don't recommend going here at all.

Every single visit is a good one. Friendly fast and affordable. Feed to propane. Hardware and grills. Truck parts to trailer tires. Lawn equipment to foot wear. I'm sure the parking lot will be freshend up soon only reason for a 4 star.

Traded in an acyteline tank. They swapped it out for one with a smaller threaded valve that won't fit my standard torches. Store refused to swap it out for correct tank. Recommended that I but an adapter or pay for another refill on an already full tank. Will be taking all my buisness elsewhere from here on out.

Terrible customer service . Employees are very rude and unprofessional. It is so scary to see the reviews and personally experience how these employees are treating their customers . They should be terminated for their behavior.

The female manager on duty today, was extremely rude. We were in the middle of finalizing a transaction with Rebecca and apparently we weren’t fast enough for the manager. She pushed by my husband to get to the hand held scanner in order to ring up the guy behind us. She then proceeded to bark at Rebecca to move away from the register. “Switch! Switch now” I asked Rebecca if that woman was a manager and She stated that she was. I don’t know her name but she is extremely rude. I would like to thank Rebecca for all of her help and great customer service, obviously they have the wrong person appointed as manager. That woman’s behavior makes me not want to spend another dollar at TSC.

I always love tractor supply. I am there so often people know me.All staff is friendly and helpful and willing to to recommend best options even if it cost them money. They rather you do project right as opposed to sell you the wrong stuff. Never had a problem with anything seriously, couple things yeah but they were quick to fix it and give me an alternative if it was better. Hard to put to words.

Every time I go to the store, there’s some kind of problem. I guess that’s what happens when you have children running the store. Today, the cashier left my merchandise sitting on the counter and started laughing and joking with his coworkers. He saw me struggling to get the bag from the plastic bag holder, but did not offer to help. If there was another option, I would never walk into that store again.

I ended up buying a Bad Boy mower from the Garner location. It ended up not having the motor and transmission that I originally thought. The Selma location did have the mower I needed while the Garner location did not and since it was an online order it had to be brought back to Garner while the Selma location had to be bought there. Tara from the Selma Tractor Supply went above and beyond to get me the mower I needed even though it was no fault of hers or her store. It was a mix up with the other store and the customer service. The company did a great job and I just wanted to say thank you to Tara for immediately rectifying the situation.

We buy dog food here because it’s grain-free but cheaper than Blue Buffalo.Decent selection of collars, dog toys, and medicine. I bought all my dog’s vaccinations here when she was a pup and saved hundreds of dollars.Dogs are allowed in the store and no one has had an issue with me bringing my pitbull. The staff always gives her treats.They’ve also got a great selection of garden supplies and decor and basically anything you’d need for your yard.

Tractor supply is one of the friendliest places to shop in the area. We were greeted when we came in. Sales associates are always ready to answer questions or help load merchandise into our car if needed. The store is well lit and clean. Restrooms are also clean. Enjoyed our trip for bird seed amd suet and the birds sure enjoy the food!

I wish there was another store in this area so I could do with them. Until then I will make the drive to get better costumer service. There is mostly teenagers working the store who have no manors, are rude, and give attitude. When you do order something that has to be loaded from the back it's guaranteed you will go back into the store to remind them you are there. You don't even want to know about their return policy. A small town store who knows you don't have many other choices.

I went to Tractor Supply to get some Chicken food. They have an abundant supply of all types of chicken feed. I was unsure which one I should get. When one of the employees asked if I needed help. He explained each feed to me and helped me narrow down the type I needed. They are very knowledgeable about their products. A very pleasurable experience today.

Have to give them five stars because they are staffing and inventory is soul professional.Pricing is erratic. Things like hydraulic oil, they are half their competitors. Other items are twice their competitors. All in all a great shopping experience, but be careful if you don't know what things should cost.

This place has EVERYTHING! My first time visiting to pick up tarps for yard work. Ended up buying a machete and pricing some rain boots. Will definitely go back regularly.

Went to this store to get some of the strong Roundup generic. Don't have that. They do have all the watered down versions if you want that. Also looked at mowers on the way out just for giggles. Good selection of mid-to-large zero-turn mowers. I have had relatively good experiences at the Selma store overall, just wish they'd carry the stronger weed killer.

It was cute. Had a 1950's feel to it. Cheese burger was over cooked and dry. Frys were good. Ice cream was Hershey brand. Not from local Creamery or home made. We were starving for lunch, it was there. Probably won't be going back.

Very poor customer service for the 2nd time by the same employee. Today his vest said Christian, but my receipt said Edgar. No greeting when entering, despite me saying Good Morning....and at check out, no Thank You, and receipt kinda thrown at me, so I said Thank You, and he GRUNTED at me!!! I'll be driving to Clayton to Hudson's until he's gone...

Okay it's a nice place & they will carry out your purchases to your vehicle but the prices are a tad high when Big Lots is right next door with bargain pricing for many of the same items. We bought a lawnmower here because wall -Mart lawnmowers are cheaply put together. But for garden tools & animal feed, Big Lots next door is half the price, so.... Tractor Supply Employees are very friendly & helpful.

False advertising, cat food clearly marked for 6.49 get to register and price 17.99. cashier was unprofessional arguing with my wife and self. Wouldn't even go and check price for herself or call manager for a check. Told they were put in the isle to be put up on shelf but price said and clearly marked 6.49

Good selection of Wrangler apparel. Service is slays friendly. But, what I like most is the Vet. clinic on Sundays. It is so convenient to be able to take the dog for vaccinations on the weekend.
