If I could give this vets office 0 stars, I would. I previously had my pets there, but transferred to Johnston Animal.From Eduardo, the unprofessional front office manager that uses the vet’s private documents to get women’s phone numbers… Talk about horrifying! To the vet techs not being truthful of the state of animals when being picked up.Dr. Cotton is extremely unprofessional, overly emotional, lays blame on her clients, and has done absolutely nothing about the complaints against her staff, especially Eduardo.Do yourselves and the lives of your precious pets a favor and avoid For Pets Sake at all cost.

Dr Cotten is the best. Some of these negative reviews are so one sided that you’d be a fool to believe them. Some people that are friends of friends with issues that aren’t even involved have the nerve to say bad things about the practice, when they have neglected their own pets health against medical advice. No one will offer you the great care that Dr Cotten will. This is a women who worked thru cancer and chemo and took one day off. The only doctor here! If you want the best for your pet, and you follow her advice and don’t wait years to act on it as so in the bad reviews have but they don’t tell that part… this is the place!

Dr. Cotten has taken care of all our huskies. She does a tremendous job! Everyone at front desk is super super nice. They were so sweet enough to send us a card when we lost one of our beautiful husky (children). I wish I hadn't moved to NH to keep giving my baby the same care!

We went here to have our dog of 16 years cremated, the people where very friendly and the "office cats" are very cute it's also worth noting that out of all of the at least 20 vets that we called they had the best price

I rushed their with a cat emergency who was dying. They couldn’t see him due to being short staffed which is not an issue. The issue is they recommend sending my cat to a hospital 22 miles away. I’m from out of state and noticed real quick there were other vets near by so I asked why not go to a close vet? They were pushing this other place. Also, when I called to tell them my emergency they said they would be right out however, after 20 min of waiting with a dying cat outside they said they can’t help me. Couldn’t you of told me that over the phone?

I can't say enough good things about this Vetinarian and her staff. Dr Cotton is fantastic with her staff very friendly, helpful and easy to work with. We followed her from Wilson and it has been well with it. Love the way she doctor's. We have been thru a lot with our pups including a death. The entire staff is concerned. Love this place. A +++

We carried our Poodle for Dental work. She was perfectly fine when carried her. They kept her overnight and we picked her up. She was like a zombie when we picked her up and she was dead within 2 hours. Do not carry your pet to this vet.

Fantastic personal service by the doctor, the technicians, and ALL of the caring staff here. We switched all 4 of our cats care here because we feel they honestly care about our Pet's well being. They have convient hours and they have excellent prices (compared to other facilities). For Pet's Sake will ALWAYS be our place to take our fur babies.

I had to put a fur baby down because he had become very aggressive it was so hard to lose him but for my granddaughter's safety we had to lose my 12 year safety dog. The staff was very understanding and compassionate with my tears and heart break.

My precious 12 year old dog was euthanized at For Pet’s Sake. I can honestly say, I have NEVER been treated as compassionately as I was there. They treated me and my dog with the most caring compassion. I have had to do this twice in the past at other vets. NEVER was I treated with this much care and compassion!!! They are the best!!!

We picked up a dog that had been hit by a car, and after leaving our info with the owner's neighbor, set out to get her seen by a vet. Our own vet was short on doctors and wouldn't be able to fit her in. The team at For Pets' Sake was able to accommodate us late in the day and were awesome! The owner was able to meet us there before the pup was seen and she ended up being fine, so these weren't necessarily extraordinary circumstances, but they made us feel totally welcome to bring her in. That was a relief after another office turned us away for not being existing clients.

Not taking any further patients and neither their Fb page nor their website bothers to inform the public of this. What they are perfectly willing to do however is waste your time with inane condescension and mind-numbing ineptitude. So consider yourself fortunate to simply look elsewhere now that you've read this because that's all the patronizing buffoon at the front counter is going to tell you to do anyway.You're welcome.

I tried several vets since moving to the Raleigh area..in Wake Forest, Knightdale...but then when we moved to Smithfield I found For Pets Sake to use for my veterinary needs. I cannot say enough about them. I had been so upset since having to leave my vet in Concord (Charlotte area) and was so pleased when I found this vet. I have used them for nearly 7 years now. We have our share of pets and they have always been so amazing. They are very reasonably priced - even their medications reasonable, they do not shove unnecessary or premature tests down your throat, all of my animals have liked them (cats and dogs) and they have all been amazing with my pets. They have gone out of their way in the past to try to get help for me financially to get a surgery done for one of my dogs. It was not able to work out (for no reason that had to do with For Pet's Sake)...but I could not believe the effort that they put forth to try to find something that could work for my financial situation at the time. From the front office/counter staff to the techs to the vet...I have to actually say that after all of these years, I have come to appreciate them possibly even more than my favorite vet in Concord. I would even go out of my way to continue to use them in the future as long as I am in the area. I highly recommend them.

While visiting family for Christmas, my min pin got into dark chocolate (alot). A family member suggested calling For Pets Sake. While they could have told me just to take him to the animal hospital, they were very compassionate and gracious and guided me in the first most crucial steps to save him. And they didn't just tell me to induce vomiting and leave it at that; they followed up until he was out of the woods and left further instructions for care and follow up. If they will do this for a stranger over the phone, I can only imagine the incredible care your pet receives in house. (And Lil Bit is just fine. Their instructions were so precise, he didn't even get an upset stomach. )

For Pets' Sake Animal Hospital is a fine facility staffed with friendly, caring people who are skilled at dealing with people and pets. Dr. Cotten is a professional who is down to Earth and extremely knowledgeable as well as just being great at her job. I have been taking my babies here since FPSAH opened. My dogs and cats are members of the family and I would not dream of taking them anywhere else.
