Great customer service. There's not much on big family packaged items like Walmart, so you can buy in bulk . Foodlion will five and six dollar you to death. You can sometimes find good deals. Meats are prepackaged frome outside sources, not freshly butchered. It's hard to find natural healthy foods, and those that you can find are expensive.

Check your receipts people. My daughter just went in the store and wanted to separately pay for her items, but they bunched them all together cause they told her it was easier. Turns out it was only easier for them to scam her out of money. She bought 3 items for cash and used WIC for the others but those 3 items cost $5 more than they should have. I checked her receipt and she was charged $5 more than she should have been and yes all the WIC items came out with WIC. With cash she bought a $3.69 block of cheese, a $2.00 block of cheese and a $1.39 jar of pizza sauce and it totaled $12.92. What??? How??? Someone please double check my math. I may be older and I know it’s more complicated now than it used to be but last I checked addition was still the same. Do better Food Lion. Do better.

Nice, clean store. Efficient, friendly emoloyees. Not overstocked and stuffy. Very nice. Nice selection of yogerts and greek yogert ice creams, different from what WalMart has. Nice to hve a selection. Nice fresh fruit. Enjoy shopping at this location. Oh! And I never have to wait in line...an added bonus!

Went to food Lion July 5th 2022 I needed to get some antibiotic cream I got to the store got the antibiotic cream got back home only to realize that the antibiotic cream was outdated it expired 3 months ago fast forward to today went to food Lion to get my favorite drinks got there the cashier seem to be very happy laughing and joking with the customer in front of me when it was my turn it was cashier number 0128 she had a totally different attitude the payment didn't go through the first time she cleared it she gained back and said okay slide inserted or whatever you going to do with that that comment kind of threw me for a minute because her whole attitude changed but that's okay because I won't be going back I don't deal with people with attitudes I don't spend my money in stores with customer service people with attitudes

Store is well supplied produce and meat dept.'a are kept in good supply cashiers are very polite and courteous. Haven't interacted with bakery yet but their food looks good as well. Glad you are not too far away.

This is an excellent Food Lion. Specifically the staff here is excellent. There is always enough staff and they are always pleasant and helpful. If one doesn't know where an item is they will ask someone else. Checkout is quick and easy because they have plenty of registers open.

I just had the weirdest service at the store I was at the checkout lane and I thought the lady at that was working there was handing the cashier some thing and apparently she wasn’t she pushed my car back and she was like excuse me she wanted to purchase her cigarettes and she abruptly pushed herself in front of me I have never been treated that way before by any Customer Service. I work in customer service and I don’t even treat my customers that way I don’t know who she think she was but she needs to go back and learn how to work in customer service.

Many items that usually are plentiful were depleted. The items were celery seed, Heinz jar mushroom sauce, dry cat food, Swagger frozen sausage, and several others. The cat food would have a popular item. But the others would not be the ones most people would be shopping for.Store was clean, but they had stopped requiring face masks. Also had stopped sanitizing carts.

Worst bakery I go all the way to one in Princeton or Smithfield last few times ordered here got order wrong and repeated back to me. and also went in to store and lady threw cake over counter to me. One in Smithfield and Princeton brings it around counter hands to me. Selma doesn't care anymore.

Food Lion is always so nice and clean.. never crowded. The workers are always quick n have a smile on their face when they check us out. I dont go often only cause they dont have as big of a selection that walmart does.. but this time I went cause I didn't wanna deal with the hassle from walmart. Thanks Food Lion for making my day easier with fast service at check out.

Usually have everything I'm shopping for, prices slightly higher than most area competitors. Only area of frustration is the deli. Usually short staffed and long waits for service.
