If this store was in a major city, would I give it 5 stars? Probably not, but Scotland Neck is a pretty darn small town and for me this store exceeds expectations in every way when you consider the location. Having everything you need so close is such a convenience that many people don't have in rural towns. If it weren't for this Food Lion it would be a dollar store, a gas station, or a 30+ minute drive for actual groceries.I appreciate Food Lion for having this location.

When my job takes me through this part of the state, I even add driving time to shop at this store. It's clean, organized and the employ is all smiles. They really seem to appreciate me being there. Even the other customers seem as happy as me. Scotland Neck has a jewel in this Food Lion.

Our Food Lion here in Scotland Neck is the best ! Their management team and all of their cashiers as well as their deli staff and all ancillary staff are nothing but PROFESSIONAL! Everyone is so friendly and kind. I always feel right at home.

They never have glaceur water it's b2 get 1 that's how it always is. I just bought a bag if pecan they are old tasting this is typical for this store. I can drive to another town but I don't want to drive an hour. I would give this two stars and that's being generous. I no to expect shortages but water really!!

Store is clean, clerks are helpful and courteous and shelves are usually well stocked. Aisles are marked for covid up and down and when lines get long they open another register pretty quick.

Food Lion is okay . Its no other grocery store to compete with. They do have new choices on food. Overall the staff or team is incredible. Their very knowledgeable on where things are.

Scotland Neck Food Lion has a need for good customer relations and service. They have a few employees that a friendly and willing to help you with things. I know that there are food shortages all over but this store stays bare alot especially since it is the only grocery store in town. This store is not the pits but it could certainly use some help.

Folks this food lion always has a smile to deliver. Warm a heart inside and out. Never have I been to a food lion that will even cater to the elderly, ie help shop with them, take groceries to car, load them in car, and return cart. If there were ever a food lion to work for its this one. They have my respect.

I'll never shop here again. After wasting half an hour getting my $35 worth of groceries for the Turkey special, I was told they were completely out and not giving rain checks(mind you the sign for the sale was still out front but no signs saying they were out).

Pretty limited in terms of variety, but compared to other stores in the area, it gets the job done. If you find yourself in this part of North Carolina and you're helping to shop for a reception at night (real experience) then go for it.
