They are selling dog food 1.5 years past its best by date.- from 2022 and it’s now 2024. It has that old packaged playdough smell. I didn’t notice at first until my dog had loose stools the next day. I check the bag and it’s way old! Check your dog food!Petco, please stop selling old food. Would you eat food from years past its best by date? Fortunately they refunded me, no issue. But please get this off the shelf.

Was my first time stopping in. A warm welcome when entering. The workers were hard at work, but was glad to stop and help me with all I needed.The young lady (I forgot her name) That helped me took time to hear all I needed and lead the way. Great salesperson. Sarah was fantastic. She helped me find exactly what I needed to help with my dogs shedding and odor. She even helped me find a healthy treat for my dogs. The service was fast and Susan was an excellent cashier. They were all very patient with my curious young children. The store is kept very clean and stocked.

There pet grooming department is fantastic I have no complaints. They did both of my animals in great time they were great with them they let me take pictures they were just really sweet. I think the store in itself is very very the expensive and they don't do military discount.

BIG SELECTIONS.. its a bit intimidating and a bit hard to find things (when shopping for someone else). The staff was very helpful and understanding after i explained it was my first time in the store. They helped me do my job and i was very greatful.

It was awesome I took my 2mo. old Yorkie in to get her nails trimmed and bought a ton of stuff for my new puppy, from the bed to the food. we had a great time picking out her new bed, clothes, and toys. all the employees were awesome in helping us choose what was right for us. thanks, Brenda

I stopped only for stocking stuffers for my dog. While browsing I saw the new “Hill’s Science Diet “ Small & Mini Oral Care food on the shelf. I left the store with both items.The lady who checked me out was pleasant and did her job very well. Please recognize her performance.

On 30MAY2020 around 1000 I drove 25 minutes with 4 other people and a dog in my car to purchase items for my animals. I was greeted at the door with a erase board with four papers on it regard COVID-19 "recommendations"? The paper said mask (which was circled), 6 feet spacing, 6 people in the store at a time and groups of 1-2 people. The first group entered the building. 2-3 minutes later as a couple and their dog left, I attempted to enter. I was approached by Chase who said I was unable to enter the building because "My Family" had already entered. I was told that families of more then 1-3 people were not allowed to all enter the store regardless of when they entered. I explained that words have meaning and the board says groups of 1-2 and not 1-3 or families. He said we were a group because their interpretation is a family and since we came in the same car we were not allowed in. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that he was the manager. I asked for Corporates number and was denied that and his name at first. I also mentioned how a group of three was leaving and not following the same "recommendations"? and he said a new policy was out saying 1-3 people were allowed. I asked for this paperwork and was denied. upon continuing to ask, he said there was no such paperwork but "verbal guidance" from their store manager. He left to bring me a copy. Another rude employee came to talk to me. She explained that her interpretation of the "recommendations"? meaning of groups was families larger then 1-2. I also explained the definition of groups, families, parties and was still told I was wrong. I pointed out groups of customers violating several of the other "recommendations"? and the "verbal guidance" regarding 1-3 customers. I was told he was wrong and no such guidance existed. I asked to speak to the manager Chase again to which she said she was also a manager. I asked for the main store manager and was told I could not have her information to reach out to her, the managers name, or when she would be in. I asked for corporates number and was denied by her to include denied her name. At one point she called me "emotional" over their policy. I told her no, but before I could talk again, she continued to speak loudly over me and interrupted me several times. She ever broke the store policy by taking her mask off to yell and belittle me. I mentioned that several people were breaking the no mask policy and how come this rule, the 6 paces and 1-3 people could be exceptions but a "family" of more then 3 could not enter the store in two groups. She told be that the sheet in blue were "recommendations"?? and could be broken. I explained it was circled in marker and the sheet was next to the other "recommendations of 1-2 groups". She told me if I wanted to enter id have to leave my kids in the car. At this point I asked her "You want me to leave my kids in the store to shop here" she then changed the converaation by saying I could not shop with my family. I find this absurd that a business who specifically states do not leave your pets in the car, would have me leave children under 10 in a car during the Summer to take my pet inside to size for a harness. I explained that these two "managers" were stereotyping me and my party as a family because we arrived in the same car. I told them we could be neighbors, friends or a numerous of other options both planning to ride together. With all of the violence going on lately, who would travel alone. I took this experience as customer discrimination and employees "interpreting and lying" to reinforce their decision by power hungry people attempting to get their way. I will never recommend this company to anyone ever again and will advocate to shop everywhere else. I have contacted corporate and waiting for a response, and will be reporting this company and employees. Attached are the signs posted on their store. Not only are they outdated but contradicting and left to employee interpretation. Beware, you may be discriminated against as well.

It's a PetCo... acceptable selection of products, acceptable prices. I think they have a maximum of 4 employees at any given time so it's difficult to get help if needed. The grooming salon is always busy and has plenty of employees.

Excellent Service!Our dog Blue loves the grooming services offered at Petco. He pranced right inside and straight to the grooming door, without hesitation. Everyone there is excellent. We always try to book our grooming with Andrea. She is very gentle and patient with him and makes him feel relaxed and safe. We recommend the grooming services at Petco if you are looking for a pet groomer that fits your schedule. They always have availability around our schedule and are very accommodating. Friendly, knowledgeable, and caring employees.

Jacob did an amazing job with my dog, Indie. This was her first grooming experience and he could not have made us feel any more at ease about her appointment. He took the extra time to get her used to everything because she was scared of a lot, and was so kind and considerate to make sure she had a good experience and that we got all we wanted. Not the best service today. The girl at the register was not very helpful. All the plants for aquariums were dead. When I let her know she shrugged and gave me a look like who cares. Very disappointing because usually everyone is very helpful. Better care needs to be given.

I have a male Akita. Most people and places (including vets) are afraid of the breed. Everyone who has worked with my dog has been amazing and very respectful of his boundaries (which change every time he goes, so that's fun). He enjoys going and, with their patience, has been getting better and better at tolerating the blowers. They greet him excitedly by name when I drop him off.

I have avoided going in this store for over a year due to previous bad experiences and I went the other day simply because I was right there. Yet again, I was disappointed. The animal care is clearly lacking and the store was a mess. The topper was when I went to get crickets and asked for 4 dozen crickets. The person waiting on me stared at me like I was from another planet because clearly that simple math was beyond her. After the 30 second glazed over stare, I had to tell her that was 48..... seriously??? Never again will I set foot in that store. When it first opened it had a wonderful manager for several years and then when she left it has continued to go downhill.

Dead fish in tanks and employees that look like they could care less.I was told I could cancel the "rewards" program at the register during sign-up, nope they keep you on the hook for a year with fees whether or not you use it.I'll give extra effort to support the competition now. I do not support this kind of business practice....yet they keep asking me to "review" them even after I called to try and get the membership canceled??

My most recent experience in this store was lacking. I arrived to find no carts available in the store. It was not busy. I purchased a 42lb container of cat litter, and a 15lb bag of cat food. I carried this from the back of the store to the front and let cashier know there were no carts available, which she didn’t even acknowledge that I said anything. I find this to be poor customer service, which is surprising at this location. I usually have a good experience. But will purchase from Pet Smart next time, as I never have an issue there with cart availability or helpful associates.
