Recently purchased a new refrigerator, and the staff was fantastic. They helped us find exactly what we needed, and had it delivered the next day. Delivery and setup went smoothly. Can't ask for a better experience.

The treated lumber was broken up, chips, dents, on the pile in front. The other pallets where in good condition and was told they won't bring the pallets down and go buy the more expensive piece of wood. I am so sick of horrible customer service and workers just being down right lazy.

Had the most amazing man help me today. His name is George. I was trying to get something to break up clay in my yard for a one time very small project. He told me what to do instead of investing $30 in a piece of yard tools I did not need. He also lead me to a weed killer for stickers. As well, he helped my granddaughter get a standing plant stool. Most helpful!

I would suggest anyone thinking of ordering any appliances for delivery to bring their business elsewhere.I had ordered a washer and dryer that was set to be delivered on the 24th. I was excited to see a Lowe's truck outside my apartment an hour or so before it was supposed to be delivered; only to be told that my washer is not being delivered with the dryer. The mover also told us that Lowe's should have contacted us about our washer not being delivered (they did not contact us).This was odd to me as we were told that they were to be delivered together and at the same time when we had placed the delivery. We were also told that the movers were going to install the washer and dryer since we were purchasing the hoses and duct that were suggested by the manufacturer. Neither of these statements ended up being true.Instead, the mover plugged in the dryer to see if it worked and said that he couldn't install the dryer because we didn't have a "flex duct" (we did) and left. I also noticed that our duct was damaged so I had went to return it. I then purchased the same type of duct and installed it myself.My wife then called the number on the back of the receipt to see the status of our washer. She was told that it was scheduled to be delivered separately but at the same time and that Lowe's would call us within 24 hours to remedy the situation.I can't say that I was surprised when our washer never came. Especially since family members have also told me of issues they've had with this Lowe's location.I then called customer service and was told that Lowe's would contact us within 24 hours.I thought that spending money on a delivery would make the process simple and easy, instead it resulted in way more stress and time spent.I would highly suggest anyone to bring their business elsewhere if they value their time.

I highly recommend you don’t get any windows installed here, or deal with the “delivery” team at all. Whoever Amanda is has a nasty disrespectful tone and attitude. This is why women have a bad reputation in certain businesses. ATTITUDE. Just because something isn’t convenient FOR YOU doesn’t mean be rude and nasty to the customers. Me having a baby sooner than expected isn’t an inconvenience to me, but apparently the lack of communication between Lowes and the installer made her upset and she chose to speak to me in a nasty tone. For this reason I would never spend another dime here let alone the $15k+ I spent for my windows. I didn’t survive the military combat just to be insulted by a random Lowes employee and I will never let anyone disrespect me without speaking up.

The staff at the Sanford Lowe's are not as helpful as they are at other locations. They make you feel awkward for asking questions, and do not go out of their way to help you find what you are looking for.Had the opposite experience at the Greensboro Lowes - extremely helpful, professional, courteous. Next time I will return to the Greensboro Lowes in spite of the longer drive - it's worth it.

Went to buy some nuts and bolts. The drawers, besides being unstocked, were a complete and total mess with what was there. Take some pride in your job, we come to buy hardware. Will I go back, not sure. Going to try Ace tomorrow, they actually maintain stock in order.So here is an update. Nothing has changed, it's still a mess, understocked, and really I won't buy common hardware there, Ace seems to have a better, well kept stock.

Love my local Lowe’s in Sanford North Carolina was trying to find an item tonight was getting very frustrated. I couldn’t find it. Mr. Weber was very helpful answered all my Questions and took the time to look up the item and found it for me. Thank you, Mr. Weber for all your help.

This is just one of many times we have encountered delivery issues. I spend way more money in this store than I should and every time I think I will give them another chance to improve on their customer service, I regret it! Bought custom blinds and part of them were sent to a Georgia store. Customer service told me I'd have to pick them up in-store, IN GEORGIA. I mean seriously? Today, I have been waiting for 4 hours for an appliance delivery scheduled for 9-1 and guess what? NO appliances have arrived and no one bothered to update us on the issue. Called the store and they said it's been on the truck for delivery since 11am. We live like 15 minutes away max. Guess they got lost. Called back and they sent me to another number that said the truck is having mechanical issues. You know what? Communication is a basic part of decent customer service. Now they inform me it "should be there by 4:30. Sure. You have wasted my entire Saturday. I should have just done what I knew to do and gone to the store and picked it up ourselves. NEVER again. I will walk out of town to a Home Depot and carry the purchase home on my back before I make another big ticket purchase from Lowes in Sanford.

Lumber department has rude teenagers working today. The girl let a customer walk away from checkout and held the line up for 15 minutes. When I asked her to void it and take the next customer, she rudely SCREAMED at me “WELL I CAN’T!!” (I am a manager at another business, so it’s common sense to me to keep the line moving) this is unacceptable customer service and behavior so I’ll just take my money to the Lowe’s in pitsboro from here on out! Sure it’s a further drive but at least the employees there have common sense and respect!

I’ll never spend another dime at Lowes.I purchased carpeting from Lowes in December of last year, and now, I wish I could return this carpet. I was lied to, on the phone, and in person, three different times. The ONLY reason I purchased from Lowes was this $500 rebate that was promised to me. They (the flooring salesperson, Bart) confirmed to me over the phone that, yes, it was for $500 and yes, I qualified for it based on my purchase. Which I confirmed at the time of picking out carpet by another salesperson. I even called two days later to confirm yet again that I was getting this rebate. Long story short, I didn’t get the rebate.I did receive a formal copy of the terms and conditions after reaching out to customer service wondering where my rebate was. Funny how that wasn’t available when I was picking out the carpet and paying for the carpet and calling about the status.I’ll never spend another dime at Lowes. Never. I’ll consider this an opportunity to review the store online and tell EVERYONE I know about this experience.UNBELIEVABLE….

Most of the employees are nice and want to help but they are too short staffed to be able to help everyone that needs it. And you can see it on their faces. They're tired and are trying but management doesn't help cover as much as they should. I feel bad for the employees here because you can tell they're struggling.

By far the worst customer service at this store that my wife and I received anywhere ever! Everyone is so rude and no one wants to help you. I spent 3k on a washer and dryer and the delivery got all mixed up somehow and I tried to call and figure out what's going on and everyone was scoffing and placing me on hold for 45 minutes! Never spend my money here again!

I wish I could give no stars! First off, getting anyone to answer the phone is impossible. They also do not refund money when they say they will for promotion prices after overcharging on appliances. Upon delivery they delivered a broken washer that had cracks in the washer door. I had drive to Lowes to speak to someone since no one would answer the phone after 1 hour waiting. I was told i can PAY FOR A NEW WASHER then get refunded once it's delivered and replaced. I refused then they suddenly were able to schedule a new washer to be delivered. But the major issue is finding out their delivery team does not know how to install dryers!! Please please beware of letting them install a major appliance. My new dryer caught on fire!!!!! After having the manufacturer come out an assess damage today they said the power supply cord was installed incorrectly which caused it to catch fire to a new dryer purchased 1 month ago. When I called to speak to management no one would answer when my call was forwarded. 30 minutes waiting until I realized I'm wasting time.

We went in for a bathroom fixture and while there we saw a gazebo, that was on sale. The specific one we saw advertised (near the display) was normally priced a little under $800...it was on sale for $179!!! We got excited and started looking for the box.We finally waved down a worker, and she did a check with her scanner to see if they had any in stock.She said they didn't have any. We asked if we could buy it from another store and have it delivered.She said "no, it's not in any store"I feel like this was akin to a "bait and switch" tactic.It was disappointing and frustrating and an overall bad experience.

The employees are over extended but the gentlemen in appliances was quick and courteous. Where I will never buy from Lowes again lies in their delivery service which apparently is 3rd party now and is completely useless. Date for delivery set; time block set, took the day off from work and no phone call, no appliances no apology and now no sale as I refunded the whole 2000 dollar purchase. People cannot afford to take off of work at either a loss of wages or loss of paid time off. Now Im out on all accounts.

I recently had the opportunity to visit my local Lowe’s hardware store, and I must say, I was quite impressed with the overall shopping experience. The store boasted an extensive range of home improvement products, from tools and building materials to appliances and decor, making it a one-stop destination for all my household needs. The staff members were friendly and approachable, readily offering assistance and guidance when I needed help locating specific items. Moreover, the store was well-organized and clean, allowing for easy navigation and a pleasant shopping atmosphere. While I did find most of what I was looking for, there were a couple of instances where certain items were out of stock, slightly affecting my overall experience. Nevertheless, the quality of the products I did purchase was top-notch, and the competitive pricing added to the value I received.In conclusion, my visit to Lowe’s hardware store left me satisfied with the variety of products available and the helpfulness of the staff. The store’s organization and cleanliness contributed positively to my shopping experience, warranting a solid 4-star rating. With a wider availability of stock, this store could easily become a go-to destination for anyone in need of reliable home improvement supplies.

So I went in san francisco locations and to get some wood birch plywood. Supposed to be six paces qcall rent steak two foot by two foot. Well, they didn't have it. So I picked up a half inch too foot by two foot. Told the cut man I want it couldn't have both ways. When gotten some screws come back and I got three different size boards. Went up front said that she was gonna send another experience color back there. He said the soul's let I could Buy a saw. Went up front to order the wood. The wood and it cost me $45. And I don't get it to the Twenty eighth. We'll never be back in that store

I used lowes for a fence install and it was an absolute nightmare. The total cost was over 11k dollars. The delivery driver messed up my driveway, wouldn’t come back to pick up excess material, charged me for over 1k dollars in unused materials. The fencing company JC construction left my yard flooded, and in an absolute mess. No one ever came back to repair the damages and after spending a total of more than 4 hours attempting to contact lowes I’ve officially given up. I would not recommend this location, nor will I use them again for any project.

Had to go to 3 stores to get all the lights I needed, but the Sanford store had tonssss and would've saved me the other 2 trips! I love their Christmas decor and trees, they are so cute! We ended up having to take the display for 2 small decorative trees and they gave us a discount for doing so. There is definitely some additional quality control needed from their vendor items though. Haha

Very crowded every time I've gone, staff is plentiful but most are not at all knowledgeable. For example 3 different associates told me three different locations inside the store for the same item. Check out is time consuming and almost forced upon the customer for the lack of cashier's.

Absolutely the worse bathroom cleanliness I have seen in the surrounding area. This is a constant mess with no resolve. New managers, same nasty bathrooms.
