I went to the self checkout, scanned my purchases, and bagged the same. The checkout screen asked if I had "purchased" my bags? There are NO barcodes ANYWHERE on the bags. Me trying to be honest, pressed the I need assistance button. No one came. After 5 minutes of waiting, and since I don't get paid to stand there, I walked out, leaving my "bagged" groceries at the counter. MY MONEY IS GOOD ANYWHERE.

Glad to have the convenience of the location, good for many things, but produce goes bad quickly (or is already moldy in store)— check products carefully!

I’ve been shopping regularly at Lidl for many years now. I was interested in seeing how a US shop compares to those at home in Germany! I wish that our local branch was as good as this one. A pleasant shopping environment, airy and clean, although loudspeaker music spoils it somewhat. An excellent selection of goods at excellent prices. The pricing is clear and free of the confusion present in many competitors, designed to hide the true cost. Lidl doesn’t do this. Highly recommended. Method: go to Lidl first, you’ll get most of your needs. Then finish off shopping at any other (higher-priced) store.

Was looking forward to checking this store out. Was not impressed. Limited selection and prices no better than other stores. Gave them two starts because the bakery did have some good items and the store was very clean. Very few German products, the reason I was wanting to check the store out.

When foodlion nearby doesn't have hummus lidl has plenty... If management reviews these please give the young man working around 4:30 a promotion and or pay increase, he ran his butt off helping people from 4 self check outs and a line of people (since he was the only person operating register)

The employees here are very friendly and helpful. The store always looks meticulous whenever I go to shop, and they are the cheapest grocery to go to, which is a major plus during this amount of inflation. My only major issue is there isn't a location closer to my house, otherwise I'd be there every other day. It's always nice to walk in and smell the warm fresh bread right when I walk in too. Can't say I've had any bad experiences shopping there.

Great produce and vary of selections, with plenty of organic options all around. They had their own bakery which smelled lovely. I thought there would be more vegan options (cheeses and butters and almond milk coffee creamer to name a few) but there weren't any. Got a cart slam full for $100! Would definitely shop there again!

The cashier at the sanford nc store today needs to take a course in customer service. She acted like you are bothering her when she was asked a question. I don't know what she might have going on in her life. But she was pretty miserable today.

Great prices, fresh produce, awesome selection of products. Their brand of stuff is just as good if not better sometimes. The diapers are a great value. We also love the kids clothes and shoes that they have in the variety area.

Anything you need in one place. I missed this store so much . Maybe a bigger selection of German products , in the future ? It baffles me there are so many types of frozen pies, but no German cake or so( like Donauwelle, Bienenstich , etc). Overall , clean , organized, (somewhat) friendly employees.

Frequent shopper here. The salmon is better than the local fishmonger's. But writing this review because of outstanding customer service from James today who treated me and my 93 year old dad like VVIPs. I walked in the store as he was walking near me. I interrupted him to ask how to return an item, and he took great care of us, laughing with us,, and just making it his personal mission to follow through with my return. Won't go into all the details, but what a great, friendly staff member you all have. Brand representation at its finest.

I LOVE this new (to us)store. Perfect balance of foods for higher end palettes with lower prices that fit my budget. I had no idea that they had a fresh bakery and such beautiful produce. Well organized and layed out open air feel. Our cashier was remarkably pleasant. It was a pleasure to shop for a change!
