Would highly advise anyone to NOT work here unless you want to face discriminatory actions. Management is highly incompetent and unless you’re their friend outside of work certain rules will and will not apply. Save yourself the time, confusion (since the actual manager barely does anything or communicate effectively and let one of his assistant managers run the show) and most definitely the headache. As you can see, they only respond to the positive reviews and leave the negative ones unanswered.

I use non-ethanol gas in my lawn mower, my grandchildrens dirt bike, and pretty much all small engines because it is far better for them, and they require far fewer repairs. Often, when I go to get some, the local stations are out. Between the cost of fuel in my vehicle and the issues with the environment, I feel it is better to call around first before getting in my vehicle and waste my time and fuel and put unnecessary exhaust into the air. Unfortunately, this store either will not answer the phone, and it rings until a message plays asking for the pin to listen to any voice-mail or is picked up, but no one speaks. Other companies, like Sheetz, answer politely and ask how they can help, then answer the question. I don't know if this is company policy or just that they don't want to answer the phone. Also, this isn't because they are so busy they are unable to answer the phone because it is the same regardless of the day or time. It does not make me feel that they care about their customers or the environment. When I called other stores, they were polite, answered my question, and the entire call lasted about 30 to 40 seconds. I don't think it is too much to ask for someone to answer the phone when a customer calls with a question.

Car wash in disrepair but still open for use. Sprayer falling apart and not working as it should, no way to know that before entering our credit card information.Wish there had been signs warning us before we wasted our money, feel like we were robbed. The owners must be aware of these issues yet they continue to keep it open without fixing it.

Rockie, the new manager there is amazing. The entire vibe of this location as changed. I come here several times of day due to the wonderful experience I have recently here. And has a smile to die for!Sam on 3rd has been there for a while and she is always very wonderful and helpful.

This is my favorite Circle K in probably a 30 mile area. Not only are the people awesome, but they also play really fun music that’s family friendly versus Circle K’s on 8587 they play not so family friendly music and have very questionable staff and customers. I’ve noticed the customers that come here are also awesome and friendly. MORE CRAFT BEER!

I absolutely love the staff here!!!! They always try to accommodate me and are so sweet! The manager is great and kind and a trip! They always have these amazing brownies that are soooo good and they are best when put in the fridge! I applauded this gas station! Rockies you rock buddy! I absolutely love your work ethic and love how mich you have changed the vib of this location! Keep up the good work! Love always Crystal!

I went to use the vacuum cleaner today. Beware there were screws scattered all over the place where you could drive on them and get a flat tire. I report it to the store and they didn’t seem to care.

The new manager there is great and has the best customer service I’ve ever seen. It wasn’t just with me, it was with everyone who interacted with him throughout store! Will definitely be back to shop here.

They jus gave me wrong change and didn’t care in the world they kept my change claiming they gave it to me, but I didn’t get the correct for change so I stood at work no one dang well I supposed to be at work they still waiting to see. Do you be my correct for change back to not go to the store?

DO NOT USE THE CAR WASH. They are out of regular soap, the dials don’t work right, and the pink foam has so much dye it will stain your hands and clothes and everything else. It’s hard to get off your car and takes more time to rinse than normal. Also, if you run out of time with this stuff on your car like I did; the quarter machine is not working and the cashier at the store will not give you change in quarters because they “are short”. You’ll be rushing home or to the next wash to get this stuff off your car because it dries fast and seeps into every crevice. Besides all of this…the wash has garbage EVERYWHERE and smells like dead animals.

People here are really nice its refreshing. What you need to know - they have 6 stand alone diesel pumps ( of course gas too) and also one of the best beer selections of any of the near by gas stations. 5 stars from me!

I arrived around 1:15am to use the restroom. I just found out that the Kangaroo on Hwy 87 closes their bathrooms at 9pm. (Due to "liability concerns" because a woman recently overdosed in the restroom.) Upon entering the restroom, I noticed immediately no one had serviced the janitorial needs. There was toilet paper on the floor, and the first lls toilet hadn't been flushed after its last use. I went to the second stall, where the toilet looked ok, but still a mess on the floor. I had a "woman's emergency." However, there was absolutely NO toilet paper! Luckily, I was prepared, with antibacterial hand wipes in my purse. After taking care of myself; I began washing my hands. There was a knock on the door, and I answered, "Yea?" When the door opened; I couldn't believe it was a deputy. He also needed to use the restroom. I was in the process of finishing up by washing & drying my hands, when he came in to check on me. The officer asked if anyone else was inside, and I told him no. I left the restroom, while the deputy entered. I'd toilet in the men's, issues flushing..I think. The tenant told me what I needed to know about the Kangaroo on 87 and why their bathrooms were closed so early. He preceded to also tell how he was robbed earlier of a case of beer, hence why the deputy was there.I think it's time for someone to take responsibility for these two stores and their apparent issues. I am very disappointed in both visits, to say the least.

When I was visiting family this was a daily stop for drinks/snacks/gas/cash, everything! and no matter what time it was, the greetings were always numerous and so friendly. Just one more reason to add to my list of why I want to move to Sanford, NC! Thanks for making my experience a great one! (one of 100's)
