Will not give them anymore business. I drove 1.5hrs to get a specific breed of turkey from them. I bought two baby turkeys for $16 each on Saturday around noon, by Sunday night they both had died. They both started showing signs of a respiratory illness (gasping for air & labored breathing). I called first thing on Monday when they opened to try and resolve the issue since they both died within 24hrs of being brought home and all they could say was "once they leave, we aren't liable." I could understand this, if I'd had them a week and they died, but we are talking 24hrs. The turkeys were sick when I got them and they still believe they aren't liable. I just hope that all the other babies in the bin they were in aren't infected as well.

I really enjoyed Carolina Town and Country. I needed some baby chickens because I only had one chick survive from our first attempt at hatching our own eggs. Mama hen just didn't do a good job. Anyway, I called CT&C and they have 5 silkie chicks ready to go. When I got there everyone was very friendly. The animals are well taken care of. There's an awesome parrot that says hello. They pretty much have everything you need for taking care of animals. They even had a cart for me to carry my kids around in (2 under 2), which I was worried about. If you're a mama with littles trying to go shopping you understand what I'm saying. Back to topic, this place is a great stop. I was only there for chicken supplies, but they have a lot of other things too. They also have dogs, cats, hamsters, etc. for sale. There's not really another place in the area like them.

Love this establishment. Have anything for pets and live stock.I never planned on raising chickens but the various beautiful breeds they carry I couldn't help but to fall in love with them. I now am a proud owner of 12 different breeds & 2 ducks. I haven't bought eggs in over a year. Great people,great prices,great stuff !

Hello Charlie! Great place. Reasonable prices. Had to start getting layer pellets from here because the other place I was purchasing from my hens stopped laying, from their feed. Not much difference in price and in 3 days I had eggs again.

The store is great. My girls like to go to see all the animals. However, at our last visit, we wanted to check out one of the pups they had for sale. I went to find someone to help us and one young lady that worked there was talking with another couple. I waited a few minutes and noticed that they were friends and just carrying on a conversation. I THOUGHT I was in a location that let her know if needed her assistance, but she just kept on with her conversation. After waiting a few more mins, I interrupted her convo politely and asked to see one of the dogs. I heard her sigh and told her friend that she would be right back. Never once did she look at me or even say anything to me. She is a young girl and I understand her need to have a social life, but if you are working at a store, carrying on a 30 min convo while customers needed help is not very good customer service.

Great place to get Your dog shots doggy toys.! I got my dogs nails clipped there and they they do really good and they have Scents’s that smell good and are cheaper than you can get anywhere else and is the real one!

We usually visit on the first Saturday of the month to participate in the monthly Flock Swap, which is located in their parking lot. Inside the CTC they have all kinds of pets to observe and purchase. A great place to purchase farm supplies for all your animals.

I love, love, love this store. A bit of something for anyone who has a single animal to herds of animals. Very nice selection of live animals for purchase from bunnies to ferrets to mice and rats (which do make very good pets) to birds, peeps, and more. In season, they have flowers and vegetable plants as well. The staff is beyond excellent and is more than willing to answer questions, load feed, hay, bedding. My pup and I go just to mill around and visit with nice people, being fellow customers and staff.

Nice store. Friendly helpful staff. Great location. They have most anything for pets and farm animals. They have pets for sale inside such as birds, hamsters, ferrets, rabbits, mice, rat's, cats and sometimes dogs. I think they have other animals at different times too. The sale boots and knives. They have an array of items for sale. It's a great store to check out. It's kinda of old-fashioned but nice.

I desperately needed propane for my RV while traveling, and it was not easy to find in Sanford. However, when I called T&C, they were happy to fill the tank. The attendant was readily available and was friendly and kind in doing so. The staff inside was warm and welcoming as well. Clean and well-stocked store.
