Worst Walgreens Pharmacy ever. Go somewhere else if you can. Only 2 staff waiting for over 40 to pickup meds. Very unorganized. Pharmacy tech spent 10 looking for someone's medication.

Slow to get Rx filled (24hr +), difficult to get staff by phone, unfriendly, no explanations for delays in getting Rx filled.Yesterday morning 3 Rx was sent, only 1 was filled. The phone automation says it's still not filled by almost noon the next day. Waited 15 minutes to speak to a live person, a male picked up asked me to hold, the phone started ringing again to them and then the call was disconnected. Seem to never get anyone on the phone and no explanation as to why certain Rxs aren't filled.I later called back, after a 10 minute hold a lady answers & looks for them, suddenly music starts playing as I was put on hold without warning, I didn't tell her I'd called before or my frustration, she then comes back to tell me they'll be ready later this afternoon. I thank her and she says "uh-humm" and hangs up. This isn't the first time I've ran into similar situations with them, but was trying to be patient with them. Ive always previously used Food Lion Pharmacy without issues, even though it's further away, I'll switch back.

WORST walgreens ever. They always put that they have an insurance issue but never call to fix it. On top of that, it’s always been the same insurance for years. Whenever it is sent to another pharmacy, they fill it an hour or two so how is it one pharmacy has SO many problems. Another thing, if you call, you can hear them breathe when they answer the phone but then they hung up immediately or they answer and they put themselves on mute. So unprofessional.

I would give zero stars if I could. This has to be the worst pharmacy I've ever done business with. First off not 1 person in that pharmacy moves with any type of urgency. They stand behind the counter like their drive thru and line is not wrapped around the corner. They charged me $40 for a prescription and a week later charged me $4 for the same exact prescription. If you want to over charge people then at least move faster while doing so. Lastly they are the most unorganized pharmacy I've ever been to. They throw people's meds in bins all over the floor and then you wait 20 minutes while they try to find yours in the disaster they have created. They should be shut down. Let's all stand behind the counter and chat while 50 people wait in line.

This is by far the worst pharmacy I’ve ever had dealings with the manager, or the person that said she was a manager named. Ashley yelled and screamed at me without assessing the situation followed me like I was a criminal out the door and called the police completely out of control, Walgreens has definitely scraped the bottom of the barrel for employees. I’ll be posting a video of Ashlee shortly.

After being in the hospital for 8 days and unable to walk my husband who is also unable to walk without assistance went through the drive-thru and asked for some dry shampoo and the girl working at the drive-thru absolutely refused to go look for any and could not tell us if they even carried it. Told us we should have ordered it online and then when my husband said I couldn't walk she looks at him and guys what can you walk? She was very rude and very lazy and I won't be back to the store ever again there are better drugstores that actually care about their customers

Waited over 25 mins in drive thru to pick up Rx for DH to only be told that the med was out of stock.. I had to ask if they could tell me what other Walgreens might have the med.. over 45 miles away.. they were very rude about the entire ordeal.. called Food Lion pharmacy- they had the meds and said they would try to get it transferred to them. This is the main reason I quit using them guess will have to transfer all of his too..no more Walgreens for me !!!!

Every time I get a call saying my medication is ready for pick up I come and it’s never ready . Today it was “hung in the system “ and I was told to wait 10 minutes and it would be filled. I have now been here an hour . How can you call and tell me my medication is ready and it not be ? Switching pharmacies because this is absurd and ridiculous. Who wants to spend a large part of their day waiting at a pharmacy?

Deserves Zero Stars!This is the worst pharmacy I’ve ever used. I’ve been a customer over a year, there has never been a time where I have not had an issue with missing refills or prescriptions being ready. Their customer service is terrible, this could be due to the high employee turnover. I am taking my business elsewhere, save your sanity and go somewhere elsewhere!

Worse Pharmacy ever!!!! Every time I come here it's something. It's the closest to my home but I will be switching. Just dropped off a prescription to be told I could pick it up in 2 hours or tomorrow. I understand being busy but there's 3 people in the back. I work and feel really bad, the last thing I want to do is come back out in 2 hours or wait until tomorrow. I've never had this happen before. They've also filed old insurance multiple times and not filled my prescriptions instead of even trying the alternative insurance, this after I asked them to remove the old insurance so it didn't happen again.

This place is horrible. I normally go to Walmart pharmacy, but this one is near my house. My husband uses this pharmacy and he gets nothing but bad service from them, call and ask them to have his meds ready and get there and still have to wait an hour. I literally was just on hold on the telephone for 40 min and then was hung up on. Then I called back 5 more times asked to speak to a pharmacist and they hung up on me all 5 times.I do not recommend this place to anyone

I rarely take any meds but had my prescription sent here cause it's close by work. I had heard not so good things about this location but was willing to give them a try. Despite my prescription being sent with my phone number, my husband got a text that my prescription was delayed with no details as to why on Thursday evening (it was sent over from my Dr Thursday morning). I called today (monday) and waited over 30 mins for someone to answer, just to immediately be put back on hold while they "checked to see if they had it in stock". Another 30 mins on hold just for the phone to hang up. Called over to Moose pharmacy and within 5 mins was talking to the pharmacist who said they would have to special order it but they would have it by lunch time tomorrow....I have to have this med on hand to start taking at a specific time and almost didnt have it...if you're taking any time sensitive meds, don't waste you're time with the Jake location!Updated to add...they magically had my prescription ready when moose contacted them about transferring my prescription. I will pick it up from them because I need it but all refills will go to Moose

The reviews about the Pharmacy staff here are correct. I have no problems with the retail staff. However, the Pharmacy staff are down right rude. If you make a mistake or have a question these people will laugh in your face.They seriously have no care or empathy and act incredibly snotty.I have shopped at other Walgreens for things and picked up prescriptions for myself and others at other WG locations. Those techs and pharmacists there were and are always kind.Not here. Compared to the other Salisbury Walgreens here these people are oddly aggressive and unhelpful. I don't understand.

If I could give .5 a start I would. this walgreens is terribly short staffed for the amount of people who come through the pharmacy.I've had meds called in that they don't have at this store. they don't even call you to tell you. Nor do they offer to fill at another location. antibiotics for children and they just blow it off.

My drug store closed, so had all my prescriptions transferred on Wednesday. Friday I called to refill 2 prescriptions, after 45 min on hold, being disconnected twice finally talking to someone a third time, they sail I had nothing on my profile. After arguing and pressing a while they say said the found the two medicines I needed. I had to call back for a third medicine, we nt through same issues with being on hold. This tech didn't see the 3rd med but asked where previous pharmacy was and promised to have pharmacist call to get it in the morning. In the morning I talked to previous pharmacist and she resent all my meds. At noon I checked and had 2 prescriptions pending. I called and after hold issue again, tech said they never got transfer. I had to call store manager, explain issue and she took message straight to pharmacist. She called me and said she had it and was taking care of it. At 10 last night 2 scripts were still pending. This morning one is ready, 2 are still pending. I'm changing pharmacies.

Pharmacy service was absolutely terrible! Horrible service! I went to pick up my daughters prescription and the pharmacist that attended me was very rude to me. She asked for my daughters name in a disrespectful manner, and I already give my daughters insurance at another pharmacist because my daughters name is hard to spell out and then the pharmacist said “Oh so we don’t speak” in a horrible tone so I asked for my daughters insurance card back and left. I am NEVER going back to that pharmacy again!

There’s ALWAYS a long line inside and outside of the pharmacy. I called in my daughters asthma medication a day before…i was told it would be ready by 5pm that day. I get to Walgreens midday the next day, and they still have yet to fill her meds. Literally every pharmacist in this bish act like they don’t want to be here. Honestly, they need to find another job since they don’t like doing this one. Ijs🤷🏾♀️

Walgreens in Salisbury is definitely having growing pains. Accumulating Rite Aids customers has been a heavy burden on the staff. Yes, I have experienced long wait times. Yes, I have had prescriptions that are lost in the system or unable to be filled because the medicine is on back order. And yes, I have had the texts saying my order was ready for pick up when in fact it was not. HOWEVER, the staff has almost always been polite and professional and on occasion have gone above and beyond to serve my family. Occasionally I do get an employee that is not trained very well but that is to be expected with the heavy traffic. The employees at this store deal with rude and impatient customers all day! If you went in to work knowing that you would be told over and over how awful you are while trying your very best every day while dealing with a system that sets you up for failure, you would probably be discouraged. The pharmacists here deal with not having enough staff or enough time to fill all of the prescriptions they get in a day. They deal with a computer system that needs a lot of improvement. They deal with having to much work and they do an AWESOME job handling their duties! Instead of complaining do yourself and the community a favor and call corporate and request a 24 hour pharmacy in Salisbury. Let corporate know that their employees are doing a great job but need more help or more time to properly serve Walgreens customers.I’m not affiliated with Walgreens in any way. I just feel bad for the people that work here and the community and think we need to work on a real solution.

I never leave reviews for anything but I have to for this. My issues with this Walgreens began at the end of April 2018. I had my prescription on automatic refill. Got a call saying my prescription was ready. Went to pick it up the next day on my way out of town and was told their system was down and therefore they couldn’t perform any transactions. I explained the situation - that I was leaving town for the next four-five days and had to have this filled. They just shrugged and offered no help. I was mad, but sometimes things happen - they can’t really help it if their computer system fails, right? So I just went to a different Walgreens - this one in New York City, on my vacation. For the record, this Walgreens quickly refilled my prescription in about 15 minutes, even though they had to call my doctor to confirm. The fact that this Walgreens in the biggest city in the country, where 8 million people live, could fill my prescription so efficiently with just 1-2 employees behind the counter makes me even more angry over the nightmare that is the Walgreens on Jake.A few months later, I get a call once again saying my medication is ready. I go to pick it up, only to have to wait in line for at least half an hour. I finally get to the counter and the lady says it’ll be “15 minutes” to fill it. I was already confused and annoyed, since I had received a call saying it was ALREADY filled. I wait patiently until 15 minutes becomes 30, 30 becomes 45... after at least an hour of waiting, I decided to get back in line and ask what was going on. The girl immediately went to the back and was gone for about 5 minutes. When she returned it was clear that she had personally gone and filled my prescription just then - no one else had done it in the HOUR I’d been waiting. Had I not gotten back in line to ask questions, would it ever have been filled? And honestly...I was told this would all take 15 minutes. Luckily I was not busy that day, but what if I had been on a lunch hour? Or had other places that I had to be and ONLY had 15 minutes? It’s fine if it’s going to be more than that, but just tell the truth about it so I can go do something else and come back instead of hanging around Walgreens all day. This was RIDICULOUS.The next two times I’ve had to visit this pharmacy have been similar. Last time, everyone in line was grumbling about how this place is such a nightmare.I have a prescription to pick up today, and if it isn’t ready when I get there tonight...I’ll be using a different pharmacy from now on.

I recently moved to the area and switched to this pharmacy. I've had nothing but trouble every month just trying to get my regular meds that I've taken for years. Half of the staff have attitudes and obviously hate life. It seems like no one can answer questions or fill prescriptions. It has taken hours to days to get my stuff. The only exception is Stephanie, the pharmacist. She is super nice, always helpful, and I never have ANY issues working with her. I'm always so grateful when she's working.

This location takes the cake in how poorly the pharmacy is run. Waiting 10 minutes in the drive thru for a prescription that had been ready (per notification) for 23 hours. The lady working the window wasn't much for customer service. Didn't catch her name but see that there are other reviews specifically describing her.Don't go on your lunch unless time isn't an issue. Good thing is this is the last time I'll be there.

The pharmacy can never seem to find the phone. 2 days in a row I've called multiple times and each time was on hold for 30min b4 giving up. This was just last straw it is always this way at this Walgreens. Moving to a new pharmacy not a Walgreens.

Absolute worst pharmacy I have ever had to deal with. Needs new management and all new workers. Slow and clueless doesn't even begin to describe the workers. They act like they have nothing to do besides act like they're doing something. Takes FOREVER to get your prescription filled. They'll send you back multiple times just for your medication to still not be filled. Had a medication sent over 2 weeks ago and it wasn't ready. They will also tell you something will be done in a half hour then when you go back 12 hours later say it's not in stock, as if they couldn't see that in the computer before hand. About ready to stop using Walgreens for good.

I had a bad experience when picking up a prescription through the drive-thru. Staff needs more training and NEEDS TO CARE MORE ABOUT CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. The lady I saw did not say “how are you” or “have a nice day.” She barely made eye contact. I had just recently switched to a new address and she did not even offer to help me switch it. She did not inform me on how I could switch it on my own. As I was about to ask how I could switch my address on their system she said “here you go” and put her phone down. (The phone where they can hear what you say and talk to you through). She did not say “is there anything else I can help you with today.” While these things may seem small they make a big difference in the customer experience and can definitely make a difference in where a customer chooses to go to.The lady I saw today was an Asian Female. I did not catch her name but I want to be as specific as I can so that hopefully seeing this review will help her realize the experience she is giving her customers and try to improve.

I have never been to a store with less collective brain cells under one roof. The pharmacy specifically is THE WORST. The line is always out the door, none of the technicians know how to run medicine through the insurance systems, and throw a manufacturer coupon in the mix and it’s total melt down central. WORST PLACE IN SALSIBURY, time after time. Avoid at all costs unless 1000% necessary.

After waiting in line for 15 minutes beginning at 11:20am on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018 and not advancing a single car, I pulled out of line to see if the window was closed. I could see that they were, in fact, open so I parked and went inside. After standing in line for about 10 minutes, I was finally able to turn in my written prescription. The attendant told me it would be ready in 2-HOURS.... This place has too much business and needs to be helped. I'm helping by taking my business elsewhere!HIRE SOME GOOD HELP!

Finally had enough. Just changed pharmacies for good. I would much rather drive further and deal with less convenient hours than be treated as badly as I do at Walgreens. They leave you on hold for more than 45 minutes just to hang up on you. It's a full time job just to get a prescription filled! It was bad before they took over Rite-aid, but now it's 10x worse, and I didn't think that was possible. You will be standing in line for at least 30 minutes just to be told your prescription isn't ready, after you were told it would be ready an hour earlier. Done with the incompetency.

For someone who works in a customer service job it takes a lot for me to write a negative review. When I moved I had my prescription switched to this pharmacy mostly due to it being closer and having longer hours than my last one. First time picking up my prescription was during a weekday after six; an understandably busy peak time to pick up a prescription. I waited an hour and ten minutes in line to pick up my prescription. The second time I thought that it would be a better idea to try the drive through at a time that perhaps wasn't as busy. No, Tuesday getting in the drive through line at 7:45 I still did not get my prescription until about 8:50. In addition to that the person helping me through the drive through could not hear me in order to verify my address namseee and date of birth. Finally, I attempted to do Express pick up when you pay before you go to the store so you can skip the line. Nope. Went in the designated line to 'skip' the rest of the line still was waited on after 3 people even though I asked if I was in the correct line and she responded with "just a moment". The pharmacist working the drive through had to ask three times for another pharmacist to help with the line. When I was finally waited on, I showed her the barcode thinking she would just scan it, give me my prescription and I could be on my merry way. No, she trys to ring me up, asks all my information then goes, oh nevermind I just need to scan and verify.If I could give zero stars I would. If I could rate the store separately from the pharmacy I would. I understand being understaffed or having a new person to train but this clearly was not the case for any of the three times.Back to CVS I go.
