The worst Walgreens in this entire area Service is always minus one. They’re very, very slow, inadequate, and if I had someplace else to go, I would never come back there. This is a pharmacy where the sick come for professional service. What a shame they do what understand what good service looks like

My prescription was really expensive and I expressed that to the pharmacist that took my call Shondra and she helped me with a discount card! It’s good knowing that there are still people out there that care and help you. Shondra is amazing!

I shouldn’t even be giving this sorry pharmacy a 1 star but to write a review I have to. This is the sorriest pharmacy in Rowan county. Will not be coming back here ever. It’s not my problem you are over 600 medications behind. Script was called in last week got like 5 day supply and here it is Thursday and it’s 4:10pm and I’m just now getting it.

Made the mistake of stopping here instead of Walmart for a couple of items. Overpriced and stood in line for 10 minutes waiting to check out due to another customer, finally the cashier called for another employee to open another register. I won't return here.

The service is consistently horrible. I have never been to a pharmacy so slow. Literally takes days to get a prescription filled. Even if you are waiting in the store there is zero sense of urgency.

It's a very clean and well organized location with friendly staff who always offer to assist. The only reason I can't give it a full 5 stars is because the Pharmacy can easily spiral into a 20+ minute wait time if there's even a single person ahead of you.

Most of the time, everybody seems really friendly. But sometimes it's hard to get adequate help unless you're right at the register. It is very convenient to find most of the things you would need, like a mini Walmart. And I do love when their stuff goes on clearance. A lot of times, it's deep discounts. The pharmacy is usually okay. But they have a big turnaround, so you kind of get a mix of polite, helpful people and unpolite, unhelpful people. Kind of 50/50. And be forewarned, unlike most places that stay open later on Saturday than the rest of the week, because most people work, Walgreens pharmacy closes earliest on Saturdays. At 6:00 p.m. I've never understood this, and it is super inconvenient. But in spite of that, I do go here quite often.

I had worst experience ever here today I went to return a passport photo that didn’t meet requirements by my passport agency. He told me that they didn’t check the photo properly so the photo didn’t followed guidelines. So he told me to take it back there and I did. I went back and told them what happened. Told them I wanted a refund and the girl that was helping us who said she was the manager there and her named is “Cassie” was so disrespectful and rude to us the whole time we were there. She basically yell at us and said she didn’t care also told us she basically didn’t want to help us anymore. She left us standing there and someone else had to finish us up. But told her employees that she was leaving and didn’t care then kept arguing with me once I told her that she shouldn’t be treating customers disrespectful and rudely like this. All she said was like “so what I don’t care”! That was the worst experience I ever experienced today from this store. Even her employees were shocked at the whole thing and everyone in the store was shaking their head. She should not be in charge if she has that type of attitude especially towards customers. You open a business to welcome customers not to disrespect and be rude to them. No one should ever come here this worst place and experience ever. Cassie you are horrible person I hope karma come back at you on how you treat others!!!!

These people are super slow, negligent, irresponsible and useless. My wife needed her medicine in an hour. And it's been 8 hours and nothing. They should do a staff reset. They should dedicate themselves to something different. And not play with the lives of the sick.

Don't go here if you need your medicine filled. It's a hassle 99% of the time. Meds are never ready. I had 4 pills to get filled. Why did it take 5 hours. And 3 visits. I suggest using Cannon pharmacy. Only thing is Cannon Phay closes at 7 so you have to get your meds early.

Items in store are all overpriced, often double their retail value. Pharmacy is always packed and there is almost always a line of 5-10 people waiting both inside and in the drive thru. There is usually at least one person or couple walking around the store stealing stuff and I have personally witnessed one person get mugged in the parking lot.Avoid at all costs.

Each time I visit the store, it takes an astonishingly long period of 30 to 45 minutes to have my prescription filled. Comparatively, in VA, I would typically wait no more than 5 to 15 minutes for the same service. This stark difference is disheartening and reflects poorly on the efficiency of the pharmacy staff at this Walgreens location.Furthermore, I have experienced inconvenience when receiving notifications. It is particularly frustrating to receive a message on my phone, indicating that my prescription is ready for pick-up, right at the closing time of 10 PM. This practice adds unnecessary stress and prevents me from promptly accessing the medication I need.Another area of concern is the lack of proficiency among the staff when it comes to understanding how coupons should be applied. This creates additional inconveniences for customers who rely on these discounts to manage their healthcare expenses. Proper training and education should be provided to the employees to ensure they are well-versed in coupon procedures, thereby avoiding any confusion or misunderstandings.Given the ongoing nature of these issues, I have taken the liberty of emailing the corporate headquarters to file a formal complaint about the persistent problems at this Walgreens branch. I strongly encourage other individuals who have encountered similar difficulties with this specific location to do the same. This Walgreens has actually improved over the years .I like the selection here and stocks items I can't find anywhere else and now but here ( broken freezer) .The staff in general are nice ;there are however 2 female front end workers who treat customer different bc of how they are dressed/how they look I have experienced this and witnessed it .

There always seems to be this one dark haired woman with a short cut in the pharmacy with a chip on her shoulder. She is super rude. I waited for over an hour and half for an appointment and was told they would get to me when they found time and had my paperwork thrown at me when I said I had other places to be. Always a line at the drive-thru and that's fine. What isn't fine is that each car takes 20-30 minutes to get their script, IF they have it ready! Most times you're told to come back later. They need more competition to give them time to do their jobs I guess.

I used to use the pharmacy here but they were Often rude and inefficient. Out of desperation I gave them a try in order to get going on our holiday travel plans but I guess not to my surprise I was held up and treated like a third class citizen for even daring to ask what the hold up was. After not getting my needed medication on Christmas Eve with everything closed I will never go there again. I am just taken aback at the way I was treated and at this time of year. After a year fighting cancer and wanting so to enjoy this time with family I cannot express enough how disappointed in my fellow humanity I am right now.

Terrible absolutely terrible. I had to wait an hour just to be told to pull around. I was finally told someone else had gotten my prescription last month and I told them I hadn't come there in like a year. They told me well someone got this prescription last month. I was alarmed and asked if I should file police report and was told " what are the police going to do" I said if someone is getting a prescription in my name I'm concerned. I finally am told oh it was just a mistake and never apologized to or anything and was treated rudely when I should have been apologized to and explained why they would alarm me for no reason. Hopefully next time it isn't so difficult to get medication.

Hate to post this but this is a current issue with this store. My prescriptions are never ready on time. I'm not saying within an hour of schedule pick or same day prescription requests. I reorder at least a day before and pick up the next day after 5pm and they are not ready with an 1am pickup. My employer uses Walgreens as a savings but the frustration with this store is just terrible. Three people ahead of me had the same issue.

For 2 years it's been a struggle getting meds filled. Every visit is painful at the East Innes location. With 2 large Walgreens in Salisbury, they should be more efficient in the pharmacy processes. You need to go train at the Walgreens pharmacy in Bermuda Run, NC. That Walgreens is top notch.

I wanted to pay for my prescription over the phone and have my roommate pick it up for me. When I was finally connected to the pharmacy, I was told that they do not take payments via phone calls.This is the first time I have used Walgreens for meds and it is the last.

My review is NOT for the pharmacy or its employees, it's for corporate. One star is given because I went from being able to fill my 25 maintenance medications each month to having my medication so out of sequence that I'm lucky if my medicine isn't more than a month behind and I have to make multiple trips. Walgreens, you have disappointed me, you jumped the gun and can't handle the influx of covid testing and vaccines your doing and still meet your regular customers NEEDS. You took the governments contracts out of greed, you barely pay the staff, there's no incentives to bring on more staff and you don't even advertise you need help so shame on you Walgreens for being so greedy. There will be a recession soon because of all this inflation and yet you will have record breaking profits to go along with the estimated 30 million you over bill insurance companies every month that you keep as profit already. You should do better, because your regular customers are sick of it and we are abandoning you by the thousands the same way you've abandoned us. Walgreens, I want you to know that I'm a $600,000 annual customer and you just lost me.

I have had many minor issues with the pharmacy over the years but this last incident has really proven that they don't want my business. I had a script sent there for a common sleep medicine. They called and said it would be back ordered and that I should go to CVS. I had to call my provider and have them send the script to CVS so they did. I called CVS 2 hours later to see if it was ready and they told me they couldn't fill it. The next morning I get an email from Walgreens saying my script was ready for pickup and even had the price so I though okay they got it in. I got up there and wait in line for almost an hour and when I finally get to the window the girl tells me they don't have a script for me. I tried to show her my phone where I had the email and she actually yelled at me saying they don't have it and to go to CVS! Okay, I'm done with you guys. I will take my business elsewhere where it is appreciated.

This was the worst Walgreens pharmacy I have ever been to. Customer service in the pharmacy was beyond rude & actually argumentative. I don’t know if it was caused by understaffing or what. So distressed by the experience, I am now considering switching to Sam’s club for my prescription needs. I hope they are able to improve @ this location.

I have been a customer here for quite a while. Years. There is a pharmacy technician here who is unnecessarily rude and vocal. The other pharmacy tech was very helpful. It is very unfortunate that Walgreen’s must resort to hiring an obnoxious tech in this time when so many people are in need of jobs.

Called and had a Rx transferred For my sister to this 1505 E Innes Street Walgreens. I was told by the pharmacy at 5:30 that they closed at 9 and Rx would be ready 1.5 hours. I arrived at 7:00 and they are closed. My sister is being tested for COVID and needed an inhaler due to shortness of breath. Beyond frustrated at this pharmacy. Poor poor poor customer service and lack of concern for the sick.
