Great Veterinarian to take your small pets to. Front desk receptionist were friendly and welcoming service was great my cockatiel got a complete physical wings and Nails Clipped. The Dr was very caring and informative. We found our local vet.

Super overpriced, charged me 400 just to do some blood work for my cat and vaccines. They didn't even do a stool check, then charged me $20 to come back and get my cats urine checked. I still haven't even gotten the medication for her uti

I feel safe and very happy bringing my pets here, I always get a warm and friendly welcome from all staff, all my questions are answered , never have to sit and wait for a long time!, Appointments are always scheduled in a timely manner.. Very happy with them so far. We are about to board our puppy with them for the first time. I will update the review after we get back. We are very nervous about leaving him but we have no options. Praying that Oliver will not have any issues and will be happy there for a week.

They were fantastic with my sweet old man, very kind and informative, were able to scedule us quickly and I aim to make this our regular vet. The pricing was not insane and they fawned over my pup in just the way he loves. Lots of scritches.

I have a small 8 lb Chihuahua mix named Marty. Marty has a history of seizures and I was so worried about having tooth removal under general anesthesia. I traveled 5 hours to Dr Kirk. whose compassion knowledge and skill put me at ease. She was willing to explore other avenues of sedation to ensure Marty would not have adverse reactions. Thank you Dr Kirk Marty is now pain free and happy thanks to you.

Very professional, and extremely polite!Our dog has speration anxiety, and we had her stay with them for two days while we were away. They did a great job tending to her. They explained all of her accidents, interactions, and play time for us (we paid for extra care/play time for her). They were also more than happy to answer any questions we had. Also their boarding is VERY fairly priced. Overall she seemed very comfortable with them, which doesn't happen often with her.

I have been looking for a Veterinarian like I had before I moved to NC. I have finally found a wonderful Veterinarian with a great staff, that apparently love their jobs! You are greeted with warm friendly smiles from beginning to end! I will definitely be referring my friends and family! I have never experienced a veterinarian getting down on the floor to make my dog feel comfortable but this is exactly what she did and her assistant did as well!! They were so patient with my hyper pug puppy and gave great advice. You will not be disappointed taking your pet to this facility! Oh and she is the only doctor in the building so you will always see the same one!!!!

Dr. Kirk and staff are amazing! I love how they get in the floor and really examine my pup. I am a first time owner of an English Mastiff, so I have a ton of questions and concerns for the breed. Dr. Kirk and staff always make time to educate and reassure that I correctly care for this breed. If you are looking for a vet, this is the place to go. You will feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door.

Dr Kirk is great. She gets down in the floor and really takes the time needed with your pets and answers all of your questions, without getting impatient or rushing you out the door. I see people say that this place is expensive but I did shop around and their office visits are cheaper than any other places I've priced in my area and the cost of vaccines are comparably prices with others. Overall for care and cost, this is a 10/10 for our family.

Dr. Kirk is the very best and most compassionate veterinarian I've met. She is very knowledgeable and explains things in a way that can be understood, she doesn't ever talk down to anyone. It is obvious that she cares very much for her patients. The staff is friendly, the office is clean and tidy. Very welcoming environment. Everyone within driving distance should take their small and exotic animals to meet Dr. Kirk and her staff!

My dog had his teeth pulled here, they did a great job and made sure he was comfortable as possible and the staff is so friendly and informative. A great place couldnt recommend more.

My tortoise had a prolapsed bladder and I didn't know where to take her. I found out that they saw exotic animals and called them, they were so çaring and nice and took my tortoise in that day for surgery. They did an excellent job and we're so understanding and helpful. I knew my animal was in the best place for her. I will definitely take all my pets to them from now on. Great place and great location. I would highly recommend them for any of your animals.

We’ve never been here before but had a sudden emergency with our rooster. They were wonderful to fit him in right before closing. Unfortunately he had to be put down, but Dr. Kirk was very caring and compassionate. The staff was very nice as well. We might be bringing all our animals here from now on!

I needed a second opinion for my fur baby, possible surgery. Dr. Kirk and her nursing assistant were awesome. They both sat on the floor to make my Jojo less nervous. Time was spent answering my questions and to determine the next course of treatment. Will definitely be going back. Plus her practice is quite nicely decorated with no animal smell.

Great 1st experience! From the pleasant front desk attendant to the knowledgeable Vet and assistant, we were impressed (macy and I both😛) They weren't pushy or just trying to make you spend a million dollars! They explained everything in detail and gave me their opinion on some things such as spaying that i wasn't aware of. Macy is very active and easily excited and they were very patient and kind with her... Best choice I could have made for my dog! We will become regular patients there from now on!

The vet is great and so are the techs! My dog has a problem with her back hip. Other vets said surgery was the only option, which could cost upwards of ~$10,000! Frankly, I can't afford that, but she offered other options that have really helped her! My dog likes her and her staff and I feel trust to recommend the best options for my family while not just trying to get us to spend money unnecessarily. I really appreciate that!

Best trip to the vet ever for my 14 yo Schnauzer. Instead of putting him on that cold slick table which he hates, she sat on the floor with him. He never seemed intimidated at all. The staff is wonderful and caring. Would recommend this office if you have had bad experiences in the past. It was a stress free visit for my Sidney. Thank you !

I have only experienced two veterinarians with the level of experience, knowledge, and genuine compassion - and I have lived all over the U.S. and involved in animal rescue for years. Small Animal Medicine is one of these. Every contact with the staff was caring and extremely pleasant, but when I finally met the Vet, I was so thankful I had been fortunate enough to have chosen her for my beloved Twinky's care in such a difficult time. It truly made a difference for me and my family. I wholeheartedly believe she is a rare find.

Fantastic people. Very nice to both the pets and their owners. You can tell they care about the animals they tend to. Prices are a little on the higher side, but what isn't nowadays? Even with that they're not the most expensive one around.
