Dennis was an absolute blessing to meet. Went in to find a new chefs knife for home use, so I decided to go with a TRUE Henkel. Dennis explained to me what a real one looked like. The difference in that quality is amazing. Also, I picked up a new pan set and a few odd and end things. Dennis, you're amazing, and I'll be back soon.

Oh man, what a great place to shop! Dennis, the owner, is a pleasant person who really knows his merchandise. Very reasonable pricing and a wide variety of "top shelf" kitchen wares. It would be too easy to go crazy in this store! I believe that 5.0 stars is not overrating this establishment.

So many unique items and great price points. I live 45 minutes away in Charlotte and called to place an order. He was so appreciative to shop and ship. I received my order in one day. Perfect in every way! I am from Kansas and I wanted to purchase some All-Clad cookware. I came across this store. The item I desired was identified as on-sale but the price wouldn't reflect in the cart. I contacted the store and talked to this wonderful individual Dennis Lunsford (the owner, I believe). He explained to me that website hadn't been accurately updated since the holidays to remove the sale price (which was significantly less). He immediately told me he would honor the price. I didn't want him to lose money and told him he didn't have to honor it if he would lose money. He refused and honored the price. The sales price also included free shipping. We agreed that I would pay towards the shipping of the item. This made me feel better. Anyway, the item came pithing 2-3 days in perfect condition. He even followed up a few days later to see if I was satisfied with the whole transaction! This was my first experience with this store and I can assure you it won't be my last. Even if things are full price, I'd rather support a small business with wonderful people concerned about their customers than save a few bucks. Also, I might add if you have a moment to chat with Dennis it is worth your time. He is nice, pleasant, cheerful and very proud of his town of Salisbury. He has me convinced I need to go visit. Thank you Dennis for a wonderful conversation, great sale and some joy during this COVID-19 pandemic!

Quality items here and excellent customer service! I find something interesting and unique every time I visit from out of town. My favorite item so far is the Frieling Black Cube pan with lid. I got a couple small ones for myself then a larger one for a gift for my son and daughter-in-law and we all love them. The nicest thing about this store is the ability to ask questions, get immediate answers from a knowledgeable person, and see and feel the items.

A great local place to shop! The staff are always friendly and helpful. They sell the "Black Cube Cookware" which is non-stick and the best cookware I've ever used! The price at The Kitchen Place is very comparable to this cookware, anyplace, in fact, all of their prices are good. We are fortunate to have a store like this in our little town.

I love this place! The Kitchen Store has a good selection of items available and trust me the prices are either very comparable or cheaper than you can find them anywhere else. I have shopped the prices so I know. :) Plus buying local keeps tax dollars local and provides better resources locally. And if Kitchen Store doesn't have it ask Dennis. Chances are he can get it for you.

You need to visit Kitchen Store! If they don't have it, they will order it for you. Top notch, top quality and very competitive prices. I love that they are open extended hours so that I can visit after work.They offer cooking classes too!Next time you are in Downtown Salisbury, you must stop in and visit Dennis.

Very friendly, knowledgeable owner. Excellent selection of oxo tools, JosephJoseph tools, linens, Cuisinart appliances, nice cooking knives, the works! It's all put together very nicely and easy to navigate, very good layout for a limited footprint. I came in needing a milk frother and coffee grinder and he was able to put both in my hands in a minute and a half, that's service!!

This is awesome store with great service. There is a good variety of all types of kitchen gadgets. You will find things that you didn't even know you wanted or needed. Love the new location. It is great to have this type of store locally.

The owner lied about his pans. We asked him for non-stick pans and he lied to us. He said the pans he sold us were non-sick. He said with a few seconds with little hot water they'd be clean. We learned the pans are browning pans and eggs and other foods stick and are very difficult to clean. Browning pans have groves cut into the cooking surface of the pans to sear and brown foods.As soon as we learned the pans were not what he said, we made a special trip back to town to return the pans in the very same afternoon that we purchased them. He refused to give us our money back and pointed to a smiley face that said he would only do store credit. We spent $233.22 in his store for products he LIED about. We were super courteous and returned them as soon as possible. We wrote a review of his store, and in his written response, he said "the customer should have done their homework before coming to his store and making the purchase." He tried to say we were in the wrong because we should have done our homework before shopping.

Great local shop. Dennis has a great selection of items available off the shelf and can get you pretty much anything you need that isn't on the shelf just as fast as Amazon and with no shipping. Drop in and check them out!

We were super excited about going there, only to get there and we asked a manager about a can opener and instead of providing great customer service he gives us a smart answer like it's not even his store. We continue to walk around the store but after the initial contact with the management we were not really interested I did buy a cherry pitter but that was it I don't think I'll ever go to that store again I'd rather go to Concord Mills to the actual kitchen store.

I've shopped here. Take your time and scan shelves slowly so you don't miss the smaller, unique items. This is quality merchandise. You may be able to buy something similar for less money, but you won't get your money's worth if it doesn't last or function properly.
