Great grocery shopping. They just remodeled the store so it looks brand new. I highly recommend you trying out the salad bar and the pepperoni pizza. I was extra surprised to see that they make fresh sushi

I must say the cashiers were amazing. I arrived at 9:30 am and was advised I could not order a sub sandwich until 10:00 am. I returned after 10:06 am and the young girl just continued to do what she was doing as if I were not standing there. She finally nodded to say the other young lady can help me. Then that young lady just continued whatever she was doing. This is the 2nd and last time I will attempt to buy anything from your deli. Just super rude and poor customer service.

I go to this location fairly often on Fridays for the footlong sub special. Normally I have no issues with the quality of the subs with the exception of requesting staff to change their gloves after walking off to refill items, touching refrigerator door handles, etc. I shouldn't have to request a change of gloves or get eye rolls just because I don't want to get sick from cross contamination. Today was no exception for the request, but in addition to that the sub was horribly put together. All of the toppings were falling out of the sub as he attempted to wrap the entire thing in one piece of paper instead of individually wrapping each half. He was trying to stuff the toppings back in as he rolled it, but as you can see by the pics that was a failed effort. All of the toppings were on top of the bread, the paper was soaked with the oil and vinegar, and the bread was already soggy by the time I unwrapped it 20 minutes later. From now on if I don't see Ashley behind that counter on a Friday I'm sticking with the Friday sushi special. The picture on the left shows all of the toppings on top of the bread, and the one on the right shows how soggy the bread was after I removed the toppings.

Harris Teeter is a great store with lots of different groceries. It's always clean and straight, easy to find stuff. It IS a bit more expensive than other grocery stores but has a great wine selection.

This place has the worst and most disrespectful employees I've ever seen. They kept trying to scam me for bananas with the wrong weight. When I put them on the scale, they weighed less than when they put them on the scale. Then they have the nerve to walk away and ignore me completely, I'm trying to finish my purchase and the machine is giving me problems, the register is obviously broken, I got so frustrated I left all my groceries and walked away. Don't buy from these major corporations, They don't care about us, so why should we care about them?

Harris teeter is always great, they don't make you feel like you you have to use an self check out line like foodlion. I mean I don't work at an grocery store why when I come here do you make me feel like I need to check myself out foodlion? That's why I'll pay a little more to go to Harris teeter.

I went there yesterday because I love their pizza. I bought one for my husband and it had some weird bitter after taste. We couldnt figure it out until we flipped it. I wanted to go back and complain but I had almost finished it lol and was too embarrassed to. I just wish that they would consider more not selling pizza that is not to standards.

Never had any issues here. Food was always clean and fresh, so was the store. I love their sushi counter and food bar. Staff is always nice and even asks if you’d like help to the car. I used to extreme coupon here often too. Love this place! May be a little higher than Walmart but Walmart is horrific…

This is my favorite Harris Teeter to go! It’s the only one in my city. But the nicest store ! It’s always Super Clean! They always have the Freshest Vegetables and Fruits!! The Produce Manager Steve is always so helpful at picking out the fresh Watermelons for me...❤️.....!I love how you can pick out your own Meats also ( Steaks, kabobs, chicken, etc...) Not to mention the Fresh Seafood , you can choose from too.Our family raves over , The great Sushi Man that is there too! He is available about everyday to make hand rolled sushi for customers :) I just can’t brag how Wonderful the Harris Teeter in Salisbury is! They also have a very Large Beer and Wine 🍷 Section 🤩...So it’s a win-win for everyone ☺️You will just Love Shopping at this HT!!

Went here around 8:45pm. The self checkout is supposed to make things easier but not theirs. The self checkouts sounds like they are breaking down and you still have to wait for a cashier. Which there was only 1 cashier at the time. A cashier said that she would help but she’s off the clock. Ok, why is she still walking around then. Also why are cashiers clocking out at 9 when the store closes at 11pm?!? Who’s doing the scheduling?? So customers like myself are waiting for the cashier to help with self check out, if I knew the self checkout was one of the first ever made I would have just stood in the snail line.

Been trying to eat healthy lately and came here to get salad bar but found many tongs fully thrown in the food. Ended up going to get a burger. Look what u made me do Mr Teeter!! Lol.

Great sale today on Crab legs and shrimp. And the Meat Dept had just what we wanted. Always has some Pinot Noir wine and a good German Resling selection.

I went in this morning to buy donuts for my family. I've never seen such filth. The whole cabinet where the donuts are is disgustingly filthy. I shop at Harris Teeter because it has a higher standard for cleanliness and quality, but boy was I shocked at the filthy dirty area where the donuts are.

Store is maintained and stocked well. Employees are helpful and do a good job. Like most stores, this one has cut back on the number of cashiers. This encourages people to use self checkout. Unfortunately there is not enough space and it gets very crowded making for a miserable checkout experience.

I am so glad I went to Harris Teeter. They had the Magnum Almond Vanilla Ice Cream Dipped in Milk Chocolate & Almonds. They are so delicious. Bought two boxes. Buy a box & try them yourself. You will love them

I have been shopping here for a while and although the prices are higher, the selection of meat and produce is what keeps me coming back. I just went shopping last night and was unpacking at home to discover mold on my oranges and spoiled chicken legs. I’m completely disgusted and disappointed. Will be taking back asap.

Clean and staff are nice. Commonly out of items in general it seems. Food also seems overpriced here even with inflation where it is. Red onions are overpriced since the only choice most of the time is unpeeled or organic or bagged (which are often not good quality) - $3 for an unpeeled red onion is excessive.

This is the worst Harris Teeter I have been in. I went to pick up a grapefruit two weeks ago at Harris Teeter and my finger went right through it due to a large moldy area underneath it. I noticed the same problem with the mangos when I was there. I went back today, two weeks later, and still found rotten grapefruit. Check it out the next time you're in there. I bet the one in the photo will still be there.Their organic produce section is pitiful and not well looked after. They need more organic produce and they need workers who keep an eye on items that go bad.

Employees are great. Product selection is fair but Harris Teeter charges a lot more than other Kroger owned stores. I look at the weekly circular for Kroger owned Mariano’s in Vernon Hills, Illinois & can see the big price differences. For instance ham for Easter is .88-.99 cents a pound in Illinois. In NC it is $1.57. Frito products are $1.99 if you buy 4. In NC $4 each. Just 2 examples, but it’s pretty much most of the products. Kroger needs to reign in Harris Teeter to keep prices the same as other Kroger owned stores. I’ve talked to people here from all over the country & they say companies have been charging southerners more for everything for years. This includes home repairs, auto repairs, landscaping & tree services. I ask what Union they belong to because they charge more than a Union company would and they are not even knowledgeable in their respective field.

I made a quick stop hoping to pick up freshly made breakfast and used their bathroom. I didn't pick up anything prepared for breakfast and was disappointing the bathroom was half clean, with no paper towel. It does not happen too often, but this place is still one of my favorite, not today, unfortunately. Staffs were friendly still.

Great choice for all your shopping needs with a lil extra included .Find 1 of a kind items from local to international brands plus all your favorites. Fyi ; all Harris Teeters are not the same . In general the" grocery store " side is pretty much the same .In terms of the specialty sections that can vary by different locations .This HT has a lot of specialty MTO pizza ,MTO sushi, fresh salad and soup bar (this location has a huge variety of fresh ,fruit, veggies,toppings,specialty cold deli salad ex(tuna,crab,chic)diff lettuce variety to make your own salad to go .in house bakery specialty and custom orders ,my favorite always are the MTO sweet choc chip cannolis.This store has 1 of the best floral depts that even the local florist cant beat .

Usually pretty well stocked. Usually have more than Food Lion. Beer selection is ok, though I’ve noticed just like every other grocery store in Salisbury the selection has shrunk. Prices on some random things seems crazy high—so then I go across the street to Aldi and usually find the handful of things I want that are double at Harris Teeter to round out shopping. I do like that they have had the gas pumps for a while. Convenient, well lit, and you get points for using your Vic card and buying stuff at Harris Teeter.They FINALLY have mobile pay, but it’s through their own app, I assume to avoid the additional fees of Apple Pay and Google Pay. Only in the US does this seem to happen. You can use mobile pay, but you basically need an app for each store and to use it—more opportunities for data breaches. I go here enough that I may add it in the off chance I forget my wallet or something. Would be nice if they just offered Apple Pay/Google Pay like Food Lion does though.

I love this store other than the self-checkout area. It's so narrow and they only have regular sized carts. Please widen it and get the smaller carts.

Plenty of cashiers to expedite your check out! Very friendly and very clean. I do all my shopping there!!! MUST try the sushi!!!! Always fresh!!
