Went to this Goodwill location for the first and ONLY time. Cashier charged me for 2 extra pairs of pants (11$) and charged me for a pair of adult shoes instead of adult flip flops (3$ difference). So when I spoke to the manager Robin about it she refunded me back the extra pair of pants the cashier charged me wrongfully without apologizing or being empathetic about the mistake done. She also did not want to refund me the wrong charge for shoes instead of sandals. Said the sandals were considered shoes. Now I would let it go, but there is a literal SIGN in the store saying "sandals 3$ and shoes 6$" and when I showed her the sign she said "I don't make the signs". She acted bias and racist towards me because I told her the type of shoes I was buying are sandals. She said "sandals means two different things to you and me" when there is a UNIVERSAL meaning of sandals. Her ego would not let her admit she was wrong and instead just ignored me. She did not act professional and empathize with the situation when her cashier charged me extra, she is charging wrongfully for items at her store and is not honoring what the price signs say. Worst manager ever, Robin should not be a manager and needs to learn what the difference between a shoe and sandal are.

Air freshener too strong. Not all items clearly marked how much. Has to go to the counter 2xs for price check. Friendly staff tho

Like all Goodwill stores the housewares are way overpriced as are the special finds. Thrift doesn't mean gouge people. You get the stuff free..make it affordable like it used to be. The upside is the staff is always nice here.

Salesperson, I believe is Wanda. Today around 11:15, she seemed to really hate her job. Not the first time I have seen her negative customer service. She seemed upset that the person in front of me rang the bell. It appeared she was deliberately being slow to get to the counter. Never said hello, thank you or even spoke. I asked her how she was and she replied fine in disgruntled voice. So, prices are ridiculous and now the customer service is bad. Need to take notes from other goodwill in Salisbury. Get her some customer training or get rid of her.

This used to be my favorite Goodwill, not anymore. They overprice way too much at the one. I try not to go to this one UNLESS it is my absolute last resort. Female charged me $5 for a sleeper and told me she was giving me a deal because she was supposed to be charging me $9🙄 but the sign said $4.99. Used dishes overpriced, One female on the floor told me $2.99 for a handbag got to the register and the same female that tried to over price a sleeper charged me $4.99. To overprice and then get asked to round up

This location is by far one of the worst. Trying to donate is a nightmare. Was dropping goods off today and an employee yelled at my husband and I saying they aren’t taking donations and when we decided to leave them anyways as we didn’t want to just throw away good designer brands (such as lululemon, free people ect) he started filming us. Disgusting way to conduct business and I will never donate to this location again. You should be ashamed of yourself. This is supposed to be a charity that helps people in need and the products we bring are the only way this company stays in business. Not to mention because of the more upscale brands you’re able to mark it up more as well. Please do not be disrespectful to the people that are making sure you continue to be in business and employed.

Honestly I love goodwill, but I just don’t like the prices since they get their inventory from used stuff people donate. I would most definitely shop more, if they lower the prices. :( for 6 shirts I pay almost 30 dollars, shirts are $4.99 each

I don’t post reviews. However, I just experienced the worst service ever at the Salisbury Goodwill. Maybe I share some of the blame as I was dropping off items :30 minutes before they opened. I honestly didn’t think this was a problem. I have donated at this Goodwill for a very long time. This morning I was dropping off several bags of clothing, that are still in pretty good condition I might add, when I was asked to leave. “We’re not open. You need to come back later when we are?”, was the response when I got out of my vehicle. It was not a polite request, which I may have taken differently. This guy was rude! I got back in my truck and contemplated waiting vs driving all the way home and back out again, which is more than the :30 minutes until they opened. I began to hear muttering and things being tossed around. The guy was apparently picking up some things someone else had left. It appeared to be a bed with rails, etc. It looked to be in decent shape. I mean if you don’t want me to donate I’ll find somewhere else to take my stuff. I hate throwing it away as I feel someone else can get some use out of it. I just have never been treated so rudely at this Goodwill. I was really floored. This guy probably needs a different job. Retail for the public might not be his calling.

Went in for one item. Picked up my item in 5 minutes and it took me 20 minutes to get checked out. That shouldn't be. Plenty of employees in the store and the manager kept coming to the checkout but didn't seem to care about the line of people impatiently waiting including myself with my one item. I won't be back, but the store was nice and clean

Great customer service, they were very busy today and still found time to smile and make you feel welcome. We always love to come to goodwill and see what neat things we can find! Also love the new remodels.Only suggestion is to move the baby section, it is too close to the checkout and line area and its hard to look when there is a line, plus part of the section is technically behind the register area.

I havent visited this Goodwill in a long time....which was one of my favorite places to visit while in town...and I wasnt too impressed...I managed to find 2 items but stood in line for longer than I thought was necessary and it got too close to an appointment I had in Salisbury, (I live in Mooresville, N.C.) so I was wanting to check out as soon as possible...just a little faster...please...there was only one lady at the cash register....while other associates were just walking around the store....who could have come and checked out the 6 to 8 people waiting in line...Oh well...after about 10 minutes of slow checking out and standing and waiting....I pushed my buggy aside and just went ahead and left...I started to go back after my appointment but like I said....I wasn't impressed with the store items and the one person slow check-out service.Sorry Yall!😣😯

Great store. Prices on some items are over priced and alot of broken ceramics. They seem to raise prices , then when stuff doesn't sale they adjust the pricing back to normal. No 1.99 2.99 items like other GW stores. Like other GW STORES try to be a little higher end. But sometimes can find a good deal.

I used to love rummaging around this store but the help there has gone kaput..customer service is a zero. When you speak "hello good morning " you get silence and you no recognition. They are quick to ask for extra money though. Don't have to worry about my great attitude or my hard earned money there!

The employees there are friendly and there is a variety of clothing styles. I've always liked going to thrift stores. Because I don't like spending that kind of money on something that's named brand I can go to a thrift store and get much cheaper. All it requires is some patience and actually looking through things thoroughly. I would recommend going here

Extremely rude Assistant Manager and as a former employee i was very shocked . Lets just say i will never recommend this goodwill store ever again . I hope Valery finds a better assistant because there was absolutely no reason for her to treat us the way she did over a $1 power cord. She caused a scene and yelled about it saying some other attachment had to go with it and it was $7 . Sad and disgusting employee!!!

I used to go often but when prices changed I might as well go to the dollar store. Not paying $3.00 for a towel (used to be 1.00) that I donate to our animal shelter. Books went up too. Will wait for next library sale. Staff are great. They obviously have learned from Goodwill, but Goodwill isn't goodwill for me.

1/3/22After a year or so shopping here as a free person....your choice to mask or not....now almost two years into 15 days to flatten the curve, goodwill decides to double down on safety theater and "we care about your health" virtue signalling and have started requiring magic face paper force fields. How many times does the politics....err....I mean science....have to be shown to be a complete joke before we can return to being sane? After the 3rd, 4th, 5th etc.... Booster shot? After cardiac issues, strokes, and sudden death in 20 to 40 year olds becomes old hat?Well, if you don't want my money that is your choice. Plenty of businesses out there that are happy to take it.

Way, way over-priced! Retail level prices for used & damaged items. And very disorganized shelves. All Goodwill locations in NC & SC seem to have fallen off considerably since raising their prices in order to buy out Target overstocks /clearance. Will only be donating to Salvation Army & local charities b/c of this.

I really like how they have organized things and prices reasonable. Staff was nice. Always find something new and different. My hubby, who's in a wheelchair, was able to maneuver around easily.

Extremely rude donation attendant. I will put my items in a dumpster before I would take to Goodwill again. Vintage glassware, four new pairs of Wolverine boots in their boxes, not even a thank you!

Not my favorite--only because of one rude worker. They were nice to us, but one worker was rude to an elderly woman and her grandchild and I promptly told him as much. I wish I remembered his name. We frequent Goodwills--both buying and donating. We will not be back to this one (except maybe to see if I can get this man's name. I hope he was just a volunteer. He was rude and racist.

Very large selection of Men's, women's, juniors...however the children's area is very minimal. The prices are as expected, they do not have a clearance area... after items have been on the floor for 3 months they are boxed and shipped to new location.... I would prefer if they did...

The pricing is ridiculous! It's not uncommon to see dollar store items marked at the $3 dollar range, or items that are broken and ragedy (way beyond light wear and tear) to be priced as if it were new. I wish this store were better organized and had better pricing. That said, the staff are WONDERFUL!

This Goodwill is one of my favorite thrifts in Salisbury. Great book selection. The store is clean and new items are brought out 4 times an hour. The prices are low.

Not happy with the store. I was in there Sat and had to leave because there was only one lady at the register. The staff I nice but I will take my donations to Goodwill in Gboro or Charlotte and Salvation Army

I enjoy going to this store, but the young lady at the register was rude and snappy when I asked her a question. I know we all have our days but it was no excuse for her attitude.
