If you have ANY disability, don't come to this store. It's not friendly to those who have physical challenges. It is not friendly if you have hearing loss. Also from an ADA compliance standard it fails. The payment kiosk is way to high to easily make payments from the wheelchair or electric scooter.

Food Lion has become my go-to favorite place to shop. Great customer service, clean, there isn't anything I can complain about except for they no longer carry their own brand of ice cream!

I just called this store to ask a question about their payment methods. When the customer service answered the lady clearly didn’t know I was asking about, so I politely asked to speak to a manager and she hung up on me!! I called back and the manager answered where I proceeded to tell her I had just been hung up on. She lied and said the call was disconnected and that it somehow came through again, when it was clear I had called back. Then she was rude when I asked her my question. Just horrible customer service.

This is not the first time I have had issues with using my insurance company 's Healthy Benefits Plus program card along with my Food Stamps but the cashier didn't know how to process them properly and rather than using the food stamps card 1st. The total amount was taken off with the insurance company card which was going to also help me pay my power bill this month too. And the manager on duty today said that I'd have to bring my entire purchase back down to them to fix the issue. It was almost a 300 dollars total. That's insane and not My fault. But I get to pay the price for the employees not knowing how to use these cards together.

Rarely have cashiers and there will be 3 or 4 management types standing by self checkout watching and not offering to help even when you press the call button. This store has gone downhill and everytime I go in there I feel like I am being followed and treated rudely by managers. I am disabled and usually have a cane to help get around and when time to check out the managers just stand and watch meas I slowly process my sale. I have Never had one of them ask if I needed any assistance. I shop for groceries once a month when I get paid and my cart is typically overflowing. One would think they could see this and open a register and actually work. I was always taught when working retail that the number one way to prevent theft is Great Customer Service. Which means engaging with customers and asking If they need help finding things etc. And if you are suspecting them of stealing then you can easily ask if they need help finding something or if they found what they needed. And every employee can ask that when a customer is near. You don't have to suspect them of stealing, instead you and every employee spoke to a customer if you walked by one. Novel idea for employees to assist a customer. Who knows. Your sales might increase as well as customer satisfaction.

I was shopping for just a few items, my granddaughter was with me. The workers were blocking the isle, the young lady was coming up at the end of isle and she saw the two of us. She let me walk by my granddaughter went to walk behind me and she cut her basket in front of her, that wasn’t all She then stopped would not let my 6 year old by so yes I turned around and asked her to let her by. She just stood there looking at me like ( she didn’t understand what I had asked her) so I was a little bit louder and told her that was rude to let her by. The three of the workers stood in front of the meats and no one could get by you had to go up an isle then down another to get around them. So I did ask for a manager to let her know what was going on. She said she was busy and would come talk to me , after waiting 18 minutes I finally left I have been back to the store but was treated so much better from other workers thank goodness the hav nice polite people working there

Food Lion has a good history on knowing what its customers like and need. It has a great selection and good prices on many items. It should offer more deals on organic items, though. The parking lot needs a strong power wash, solar shades and trees added to help improve our environment as cars are parked there. There should be added at all times a sanitizing station for masks, hand sanitizing and clerks at check out should be cleaning the counter, etc between each customer.

Had two 12 item express lanes open and one empty and two regular lanes open and backed up. Cashier says I only do twelve items or less even with an empty lane.

Showed up before scheduled time only to find out they couldn't take me until 18 hours at 5:00 the following morning cuz didn't have room to unload my trailer. Showed up at 4:30 in the morning no one at the guard shack yet 14 of us huddled under the hut now as it's raining and then two gentlemen started smoking and wouldn't step out very unhealthy and now we have to squabble amongst ourselves as to who's turn it is checking in. Website says they don't open till 7:00 so why did they say come at 5:00?

There's nothing like Home town kindness and quality service. I wanted to make some after Thanksgiving pies. No pie crust, the staff stocking meats said let me look in the back...Bam just like that he hand delivered to me. My only regret I didn't get his name Great service still exist!

It’s a grocery store. The people working there especially the front end associates have no personality and are sometimes rude. If it wasn’t so close to the house I would pass this for other options just moments further down the road. Being so close to the corp office I would expect a showcase location but this store is far from that.

My usual go-to grocery store. 95% of the time the employees and cashier's are friendly and pleasant to speak with; but like any grocery retail chain there's good and bad visits. Product availability depends on the time of day.

I understand cashiers have to deal with all types of people and personalities. With that being said, when I walk into a store with my daughter I do not expect to be stared down by someone, who is supposed to be taking care of her current customers, like I just killed her favorite pet. I checked out at Morgan's register because her demeanor was refreshing and she smiled. Thank you Morgan ! Food Lion needs more like you.

This store is the average grocery store . The help is polite and willing to help when asked. The store carries the same as any other foodlion including their own brand of products saving you some cash.

More recently i gave a review for this location via the site, with the survey information given on the receipt i figured it would grab the attention of the store personnel. Guessing it did not because my shopping experience on 3/12 solidified my choice to not shop this location during the early morning hours. I entered the store and went about getting the items i wanted. I encountered at least one employee, who smiled and was very polite. Upon reaching the checkout, i had a phone card to purchse so i extended it to my cashier to take and scan. She decided to use the hand scanner and after 3 failed attempts, she yanked the card from my hand and scanned it on the grocery scanner. She more or less flung the card back towards me. I did not say anything, my daughter who by the way, was with me on this trip, witness all of this. The cashier continued to scan and bag my items. I paid for my items and me and my daughter walked out. Once we were outside my daughter asked, "do you know that lady who waited on us?" I said, no. She asked, "then why was she so nasty and unprofessional towards us?" I said thats how she always treats me when I stop here. My daughter said, "that was not right she was really rude." She asked me was i going to do a survey for the store, i said no i will do a review. So again Annette, my cashier was very unprofessional, i do not know if she does not like to work the morning shift, but i will do all i can to avoid shopping this location if she is the only cashier available to.assist customers.

Love shopping in this store. Staff is friendly and helpful. I observed one the staff helping an elderly lady with her shopping. They even accompanied her through check out and out to her car to load her groceries. Good job Food Lion!

I shop food Lion instead of Walmart because they offered discounts. Also their food is all fresh. A t-bone steak that was left in the toy department is not placed back in with the t-bone steaks like it is at Walmart.

I've been shopping at Food Lion for many, many years. I have never seen the shelves as empty as they are now. I'm getting tired of hearing "supply chain issues" are the problem. Other stores that I shop appear to be well-stocked and they obviously get their supplies where Food Lion gets theirs. Totally irresponsible upper management is the problem, otherwise the competitors would have supply issues as well.

Love to shop at Food Lion! Actually I am on a crew renovating these stores... but, that makes me pretty familiar with the products and the selection. And, when it's time for lunch break, you don't have to look far to find something to eat!

Food Lion is a great grocery store with consistently low prices in clean stores with electric wheelchairs for the disabled. Large parking lots with a helpful friendly staff and delicious deli and bakery and pharmacy in some stores. Their homemade cakes and treats are one of a kind. Food Lion Grocery Store is the one for me!
