Omg! I love walking in this store to shop for my household items. One of the store managers named “Blu” is amazing and very helpful. She always has a friendly smile and laughs when holding a conversation, she help me find items when I ask and she always ask if I need any help. People like this with a warm heart and great customer service is hard to find. Thanks Blu for your amazing work and great customer service!

I usually shop here as it's pretty close to home. Went to purchase a few things. I get to the register and the employee is stocking behind the counter. I see another person standing at checkout but I'm not sure if he's shopping or works there. I stand at the register maybe 3 or 4 minutes but the employee never acknowledge me. Finally I hear the guy talking and the employee goes to show him a box of headphones. The employee finally comes by me but does not acknowledge me. Goes back to helping him and then back in front of me still does not acknowledge me I finally comment that it's rude to not acknowledge a customer that's directly in your eye sight. The employee gets bold and starts arguing that the customer was there before me and she was helping him. I called corporate to complain but I guess that's acceptable behavior for that store as no one called me back. I'm sure that they won't miss my business or my money and that's fine. I'll happily drive a little further and pay a little more for better customer service.8/5/22

Every time I go in this store the assistant manager (or that’s what she says her title is) is rude and doesn’t want to check you out. She wants you to use the self check out because she is the only one in the store. That’s not my problem nor is it any of my business that they are short staff but believe me I hear it everytime I shop there. If she hates customer service that bad she needs to find another job! Being rude to customers that shop at your store is bad customer service. She has a sign up that says use self check out, ummmmm I am not the cashier. Hire more people or schedule more employees. This is the only dollar general store that I go in that has just one person all the time!

For there to only be one person on the register and one on the floor the self checkout comes in handy. The staff is always very friendly and helpful considering they're doing the work for five. The cashier was alone on the register, helping customers, stocking & cleaning so I understood the wait. I'd shop there anytime

This Dollar General isn't as good as some others I visit, just my opinion.. All Dollar Generals seem to be cluttered! Someone higher up in this chain of stores, needs to step it up & hire a better class of employees to actually work, clean up the clutter!!!This store is not only a mess but the employees aren't very friendly! If they're doing something & your at the register, its like oh well, you'll wait!! 😡 And doing something includes, chatting on the phone, BS around with each other, smoking, stocking bags etc.. You'll just HAVE to wait.. My time is valuable & this should never happen when you work for/with the public! You ppl need to step it up or hire a better class of ppl!Not all Dollar Generals are like this.. At least most other stores might be cluttered BUT the employees are friendly to you..

The whole crew is soo sweet and those two new bosses they have in there, Ron and Blu they make my day every single time I stop in. The company really got a blessing when they hired them two!!!!

I keep forgetting the lady's name that works there, but she has blonde hair with a darker color underneath. She is the absolute best person I've ever encountered at any dollar general or any store even remotely like it. I cant say there has been one day that I have gone there and she wasn't there, and I go quite often. She must work everyday and she always has the absolute best attitude. Thank you for all of your help, and I'm sorry I forgot your name (I'm just bad with names)😭😭 every person that I've encountered that works here has been amazing as well, I just feel as if she goes way above and beyond and never leaves. She definitely deserves a raise or a bonus of some sort. Thanks again♡♡*her name is Leslie♡*

Of all the times I have been in this DG Store the isles have been full of stock so you can’t even see the shelves. It is very dirty with trash laying around. This is one of the newer stores in our area you would think they could do better!

This is the worst store I’ve ever been into. Every time I go they have boxes on every single aisle piled in front of everything . Not like empty boxes like deliveries they’re too lazy to unpack. If you need something you literally have to move boxes out of your way. Half the store you can’t even get to. The employees are always sitting Down or gossiping while the customers are going through an obstacle course to shop.

If you don't want to get run over at Walmart and be in the covid-19 situation. This is a quick place to pick up stuff and get the heck out. Love the locations of these places they're everywhere. I feel the spirit of Uncle Jim Edmundston that used to live here. I remember his dog Smiley out by the barn here. Great location I hope his family got some good money for the land here. Really a nice quick area to have a store here. Found what I wanted and got the heck out. Really was impressed with the self-checkout area. I can't believe a convenience store has self checkout. I wish this was a lot like the Dollar Generals out west they also sold gas. They even have Dollar Generals out west that sell groceries just like Food Lion. But I will enjoy this store it has enough merchandise to keep me going. Just try to keep up the three C's which are cost-effectiveness, cleanliness and great customer service. May God be your time anchor in this stormy time in American history.

This store is a joke and has very very bad poor n very rude customer service several customers standing in line screaming throughout the entire store for help and still absolutely no employee to be found when finally found and asked whom was over the store got told that the management was sitting in the office but never came out or said anything at all because paperwork is more important than paying customers very shifty and unprofessional and will not return

It's new and pretty nice. Good location and set up like most DGs. It has friendly and goofy staff and serious staff as well.. They were stocking in some areas when we went and the areas that weren't were very well stocked.

The DG on Heilig Rd in Salisbury NC is the worst one I've ever been to. An hour after they're supposed to be open and the store is locked up tight. This occurs A LOT and the shelves are never stocked and the product is lying in the floor or not even unboxxed yet. Very disappointed in my experiences here

New store on Concord road is really nice, extremely well stocked and very clean and in order, but at time there aren’t enough employees to staff the store which is a must if it is to remain viable in this market when everyone is in a hurry, saw people leave as checking out was to slow, not enough cashiers, could really be a showplace store if this is corrected.

DG really needs to clean up its act. Hire people that do not seem to be on drugs or hire enough people to keep the shelves stocked!! Maybe even stay open later maybe deliver?
