While visiting we needed a place to grab breakfast on Sunday morning and found that this was the only place open. To our surprise we ended up at a beautiful oasis in the countryside where exceptional home cooked food and true hospitality awaited. Renee took care of us as if we were close friends in her home. The food prepared was on point and so were the prices. The setting is gorgeous overlooking a field and the mountains of North Carolina. The gardens and new nursery was not only beautiful but very reasonable with prices. There is a fantastic gift shop next to the restaurant that boasts high quality home furnishings, gifts, and unique finds that makes you open your wallet and look forward to adding stuff to your home. High quality products, excellent customer service, great prices and relaxing charm that makes anyone feel comfortable spending lots of time there exploring. Thank you Gabe and Renee

Usually the food is really good however my wife ordered the stuffed French toast and it was not the best but instead of offering to trade out for something else the owner said they don’t do that if they haven’t had any other complaints about the meal which makes no sense how can u have a complaint if u refuse to accept the complaint and on top of that they still charged us we will never be back. The owner refused to come out and talk to my wife. He just kept looking at her through the window. Pretty pathetic!!!

Food is pretty darn good. I suggest trying the Portobello burger. They usually have a special going on for something not normally on the menu. Being 3 miles down the road from our house my only complaint is they only serve breakfast and lunch. I'm sure if they set up an outside patio area people would show up for dinner as well!

This Breakfast & Lunch place is right next to Gardenwoods Nursery & Gift shop. Think the name is Garden Cafe, but it is not showing up on my maps yet as such. Small, but very nice atmosphere and menu. Good food, good size portions cooked to order, and a a good value. Excellent personal service. Have been there 2x now and will definitely return again.

Best burger around! Actually haven't found anything I don't like, breakfast or lunch. It's small and can be crowded, but it's the mountains, worth it to slow down.

Owner is notorious for refusing to refund or trade out food if there’s any issues with a meal the owner himself stated he would rather lose the customer
