Wouldn't give 1 star if I didn't have to just to be able to leave my review. Ordered at 4pm from food lion To go to feed my family that night because we had nothing at the house left to fix. Said I could pick up between 7 and 8pm. All of a sudden last minute they want to text me and say they rescheduled MY already paid for order for 10am tomorrow. That doesn't work! I only ordered 7 items BTW so I called the store to ask them to please allow me to pick this up even if I have to shop for it myself even informed them this was the only way I had to feed my family tonight and all I could get was I'm sorry there is nothing we can do I can pick up tomorrow or refund ur money like so my family is supposed to go without dinner because u couldn't get your workers to do there job after conforming that it would be ready at 7 and waiting until 620 to let me know u couldn't do it some of us are out here struggling and food is one thing u dont mess with u don't stop to go until 8 ur telling me u couldn't pick up 7 things in a hour and a half righttt worst customer service ever

This particular location has amazing customer service. All the managers are very helpful. All the staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help you with everything you need. Top notch team of people.

I travel frequently to North Carolina to visit my mother and siblings and always visit the nearest Food Lion, since for some reason it is my sister’s favorite store. [As now, it never will be mine] ~ We visited this Food Lion on Saturday, November 12, 2022, in Rural Hall, NC, my husband, my sister and I experienced a lack of customer service and professionalism from one employee.We were very disappointed with the lack of care for a mistake that was in Food Lion’s hands, and we were simply trying to get the price right as seen on the shelf, we were hurried and treated as though we were wrong for wanting to double-check and reassure them that we were not making up the price that we had seen. The lady decided to price the items over what we told her we saw the items priced on the shelf. ~ Unfortunately, the lady we spoke to, found it very odd that we wanted to hold the store accountable for the price shown on the shelf and no one from the staff took a minute to go and check out the prices that the items were priced on the shelf, my husband even went to the items and took a picture of the label prices and showed her the correct price and she just stated that since we already paid she couldn’t fixed the correct price. * She even spoke in a derogatory way to my sister and it was completely inappropriate and unprofessional, she made my sister feel very uncomfortable and sad. At the end we went to customer service window and waited until a young gentleman came and refunded us the over charge for the items… What a customer service experience we had!!

This is our local Food Lion. It is always clean and well stocked. The employees are friendly and helpful. Depending on the time of day, it can be a little crazy getting in and out of the parking lot. Hopefully, with all the new construction, that will be a thing of the past. It's in an active, rural area. It is well like in the evenings, so you always feel safe. I recommend this location highly!

Cost of food is expensive, but Food Lion keeps costs low and reasonable. Wow! 🥪 Everyday low prices on fresh meat and produce - you 🛒 can't beat that.

Just had a pick up order from this Food Lion. They charged me for an item I didn't get. Said it was mistake. It went to another customer. They would not refund without me going to the store and they were now out of the item. They said I could call instacart if I needed it right awaySo now I am being penalized for their mistake. Tomorrow will be last time I go in

Overall good grocery store for most all food products. They do not have a fresh seafood dept. so not the best place for getting that. Prices are mostly fair and they are always running sales on products that are appropriate for the seasons and holidays. They offer a shop and earn program that you will have to sign up for that saves us alot of money on making purchases of different product groups each month. Staff is always friendly and very willing to help with any questions or concerns that you may have. All around a very good place to shop.

Store was clean and fresh, just like you'd want in a food store. The aisles were clear and the store was very easy to navigate. The staff were also very helpful... The cashier offered to wait while I went back for syrup. These days, that's good customer service.

Lines are always long. They never have the same cashiers so you rarely see someone familiar. The management tend to just stand around and not support their cashiers or workers. You can find anything your looking for because their shelves are always empty. This store used to be really friendly until their best workers moved stores or quit. I honestly can't blame them for leaving cause it seems like they are never appreciated.

This used to be my food lion of choice since I live 5 minutes away. In the last couple of years this store has declined terribly. The produce is disgusting! I have posted a picture of some cucumbers that were on the shelf in produce. Rotten and wilted fruit and vegetables. Shelves are usually understocked. The cashier's seem to try hard but the management is sorry. I just purchased $300 worth of groceries from this store and had to load the cart with the office person standing right there carrying on a conversation with the cashier! I have started going to the Food Lion in King because it is a much better store .

I go to this food lion because close to house.But today the 2 cashiers couldn't even scan a coupon.Maybe send then to the Walnut Cove location They gave no problem. Bad attitude.

Been a Food Lion Customer over 35 years. Great service and deals on MVP rewards. But here the last couple of trips the fruit in canisters and bananas go bad in 3 or so days. Wife not Happy This Morning

This store is well stocked and maintained. Staff are very courteous and helpful. They have a great selection of products so you will be able to find what you are looking for. The produce is fresh and well culled. Deli items are fantastic. They usually have great sales on meat, fish, and poultry. Convenient location.

My local store for grocery! Their vegetables are fresh!There overall rating from me is 4 stars. I would give them 5 stars, but a lot of their packages are smaller, but their prices reflects higher prices.

Geez guys, is there a cloud of depression hanging over your store? Not a single employee would say hi this morning (and I went by plenty of them). When I asked the cashier how she was doing, she said "I'm here." You ought to figure out a way to fix that.

What can I say it was Christmas Eve,,, and it was busy, making your way through the aisles to get to your items of choice to pick up and mark off the list was indeed a chore.. you had your speeders,, you had your slow ones that sort of look like they were there and didn't know what they were there for, and trying to find something to stick in that four-wheel extension of their personal space.. which made maneuvering through the traffic more difficult.. and then you had your chatters that either didn't have a cell phone or found out that talking in person was actually a good thing,, but all in all it was pretty good experience.. it didn't take very long to pick up the items I was there for,, and the checkout service went very well without a long wait,, so I guess I have to give foodlion a thumbs up for yesterday and,they done very well considering it's one of the busiest times of the year.. they were well-stocked and the staff was very friendly,, good job!! Y'all have a merry Christmas!!

This place is horrible! Corporate seriously needs to come in, and fire every single person working there. A clean slate is what this place seriously needs! Otherwise it’s a great place if your looking for drugs or an undercover brothel. They recently had an employee charged with murder! They also have older employees preying on the younger females working there, and nothing ever gets done even after the young ladies complain.

Getting into and out of the parking lot is a nightmare. The store is reasonably clean and stocked, and the staff is nice. However, I have deliberately traveled to another store especially during rush hour just to avoid the traffic and parking at this store.

Best foodlion in the triad. Tylan is a great employee. He’s prompt, efficient, and I left my cell phone on the counter, he brought it all the way to my car almost to return it! Great customer service Tylan!! Awesome place to shop!

Every time I go to the Deli, I think it can’t get worse. Today I literally had the workers do rock, paper, scissors over who had to help me. Yeah no, never again. I understand annoyance, because I’ve worked in the deli before. But outright contempt? No thanks, I’ll go elsewhere.

It's a nice, clean store with friendly employees. The only problem is the parking lot. It needs to be repaved. I also wish there was a light to get out of the lot. It can get busy there with the bridge construction going on, and the large trucks sometimes make it hard to see.

Stopped by the deli to pick up some lunch. No one was working there. No potato wedges and very little warm food. Even asked someone where the deli clerk was. They just walked off. Called to let someone know of issue. No one answered phone. Waste of time.

Every time I go in this Food Lion, I see too many employees with their earbuds in and using their phones. I’ve also seen most of the deli associates using their earbuds and listening to music. The only sales associate that was very nice was, I think her name is Linda. Every time I’m shopping there, she is ALWAYS working VERY hard. Rushing around trying to get things done. I’ve also overheard her being accused of not doing her job and given threats to write her up. Also, from what I’ve seen, she is being singled out. If what I suspect is going on, I will call corporate.
