My dogs have always seen Dr.Wells since I've been coming here and she is awesome! Always very informative and helpful. She explains things in a way that is easy to understand. I have never been to vet clinic where you talk to the vet assistant more then the actual vet but it was like this every time I came in. And my last visit was absolutely the worst one I've ever experienced personally.To start this off, I just want to say that the vet assistants and the girls at the front desk are wonderful, helpful, and sweet! This complaint has nothing to do with any of them. My major problem was Dr. Roberts - I brought in my old cat for a possible tooth/gum infection because he was drooling more and his breath was bad and to also have his yearly blood work done. The assistant took him to the back to get his blood and while he was back there, the Dr. also did his physical exam and checked his teeth. The assistant brought my cat back to the room after they were done with everything, told me about everything and that the vet (Roberts) would be in shortly. The vet came in with the antibiotics for his teeth, but I told him that it messed up his stomach really bad and gave him terrible diarrhea, so he left right away to get another type. He was literally in there for less then 10 seconds and I thought he was coming right back. But he didn't. The vet ASSISTANT came back with another antibiotic. So, that was the only time I saw the vet for this whole visit! And I had questions to ask him!! I had to ask the assistant but she could only tell me so much because she's the ASSISTANT, not the actual VET! Bless her for being so nice and trying to give me the info I needed, but I just couldn't believe he never came back.That's not the worst of it.I went home a bit annoyed but got over it. The next day, I got a call about his blood work....it was one of the assistants and she told me the news that he has Hyperthyroidism and I can choose between medication (a pill to give him) or food. That's it! I was upset obviously, finding out my cat is sick and Dr. Roberts didn't even call me to tell me himself!! I was and am still very angry about this. I needed info about all of this and she couldn't answer all my questions. I went to another vet clinic for one of my other cats and asked her about the Hyperthyroidism and she filled me in on SO MUCH MORE! I couldn't believe what was all left out that I needed to know! Apparently he needs to be monitored every few months to make sure his levels go down - I was not told this on the phone! I immediately transferred his paperwork to this new vet because he will not be taken care of properly in Dr. Robert's hands.

I had a great experience at Animal Care Clinic of Rural Hall! My local vet closed in December due to retirement of our great Dr Cowan so we were in need of a new vet. I chose this one, and I am glad I did! I also walked in and there was one of the guys from my old vet, Mason! Feels like home!

I have been bringing my dog since 2022 and every experience has been a good one - from regular check ups to "sick" appointments. Every staff member I have worked with has been pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. I feel like they "listen" to me as the owner and truly care about my pet. I love this vet's office! They are upfront with the humans and get on the pet's level - both the doctor and the assistant got on the floor to check out my older dog. I appreciated that they didn't put her on the cold exam table. My baby is getting older and we were given some good advice on how to keep her from injury - the dog didn't get the memo. She walks up and down the stairs unaided and is faster than we thought she was.

I am extremely happy with my first visit. We recently got our cat just by chance as she showed up in our driveway and was starving. I scheduled time with the vet to get her checked out. Rolo had an accident on the drive over and everyone was very understanding and helpful with the mess. The tech and Dr was very good with Rolo and made us both feel comfortable. I have another appoint scheduled to get her spayed and would not feel more confident in her being in your care for the surgery.

I have been bringing my animals to this veterinary practice for many years. My little dog Trixie has diabetes and gets insulin daily. She stopped eating and drinking yesterday, and by the time I got home from work today, she was getting weak and had vomited. I called the office an hour before they closed so they could examine her. I was afraid she might not make it another day because of her diabetes. I was told that the vets had finished their appointments for the day and were leaving even though they were supposed to be open until 5:30. I asked if they saw emergency patients and they said yes. I explained that I was worried that Trixie might not survive until tomorrow. After the receptionist checked with the vet(s) I was told that I could bring her in the next day. I told them that wasn’t acceptable. I was put on hold again. I ended up calling another veterinarian office close by and they told me to bring her right in! I’m never going back to Animal Care Clinic again!!

Animal Care Clinic is awesome. Staff is very helpful and was very caring with my dog. I left with instructions on how to care for my dog until next visit. Dr. Wells was great with follow up calls to make sure my dog was doing ok. I felt very comfortable with the clinic.

I have been taking my dogs to this practice for MANY years. And a need came about suddenly. Called to get appointment as I could just tell my Little Fritz just wasn't himself. I was seen that same day. Dr. Davis did a physical exam and found no tenderness in his tummy region. I had mentioned his appetite was normal but he was just "off." And I suspected perhaps anal glands needed to be expressed as I had seen him "scooting" about on his bum. Yep. She did find one gland was full and took care of that. On the way home from the appointment I immediately saw an improvement! The tail was once again wagging by the time we were at home. All was once again well in the Land of Fritz! Dr. Davis is a jewel and she listens to you and explains along the way. I am thankful to have her and the practice available to see us when we need an appointment.

Best veterinarian office I’ve ever been to! Dr. Davis is very honest, understanding, and truly cares about her fur patients and their families. I have two babies and a husband who works long hours. When my sweet cat was sick she did everything possible to get him back to health, including reaching out to me directly when he was taking various medications and very graciously brought my cat to my car when it was time to pick him up because she knew juggling 2 babies and a cat carrier alone isn’t practical. I can’t thank you, Dr. Davis and the clinic staff, enough! I appreciate all that y’all had done for my family!!

Everyone here were so wonderful when my family had to put down our 10 year old german shepard last spring. Then also when I needed to put down my 14 year old chihuahua the other day.They were respectful and kind to us and our beloved pets. We are very thankful for their professionalism and compassion ❤

I called a few times to have all my pets records transferred because we have relocated to a new city. Twice I was place on a very long hold. So I called again, and when someone finally did send them they didn’t send what I asked for. When I called back I spoke with Taylor and she sent them over immediately and correctly! I have a lot of pets and she took her time making sure I got each one of them sent over. Taylor is very professional and courteous.

Yesterday was, unfortunately, our first visit with Animal Care Clinic of Rural Hall (I really wish I had known about them years ago). Although the visit was a very hard and sad one for us because our very much loved fur baby, Bubba, had to be euthanized due to serious complications of his diabetes with organs which were failing him (within a 36 hours of him showing signs of being sick). I was not at this visit due to being at work so my husband took him and although he was upset because of the circumstances he had nothing but good things to say about all of the staff here. They were very compassionate and honest about the seriousness of Bubba's situation and how bad it really was. Dr. Wells told us (my husband was relaying all of the information to me over the phone) the honest truth about the severity of Bubba's situation and gave us the time to make a very difficult decision. I appreciate her sincere honesty, unlike the vet that he had been going to, and giving us the time to make what I feel was the right decision for our beloved Bubba. As much as it hurt to make the decision to euthanize him, she assured us that we were doing the right thing and what was best for him as he was suffering and he did deserve better than the suffering that he was going through. Thank you Dr. Wells for helping us through this difficult time and for being HONEST with us and not giving us "false hope" that he might get better. I work at a Primary Care Practice and I know that like everything else it is a business but when you conduct your business honestly, as Dr. Wells did with us, it will bring you more business rather than being dishonest in order to pad your pockets. Thank you Dr. Wells you are greatly appreciated and if I ever decide to get another dog you guys will definitely be my go to vet.Rest In Peace my sweet boy.

With Covid precautions in place, we felt very comfortable during our first Vet visit with our new dog. The doctor came out to the car and explained what services were performed, talked with us about ongoing care and diet. We never felt rushed and left feeling very good about the care Molly, our Walker Hound mix, will receive in future visits. We are happy to recommend Animal Care Clinic of Rural Hall, and although other vet clinics are closer to us, we will be taking molly to ACCRH for her care.

Great staff. Low pressure. Very caring. They don't try to upsell you for unneeded treatment. They ask questions and provide what you request instead of stacking the bill like other vets. They were recommended to us after our previous vet wanted $1200 to run tests on a cat that had a UTI. We declined and this vet cured the infection for 1/4 of the cost our old vet wanted for just tests. A fair and honest vet who is respectful instead of out for maximum profit.

We recently moved here from NJ and needed a vet for our cat Boots. Choosing Acc of Rural Hall was a great decision. Our vet in NJ was good but not very personable.Dr. Davis and her staff were awesome. Very friendly, thorough, and they had reasonable prices.Boots peed in his crate from nerves and the Doctor took our crate in the back and washed it for us before we put him back in for the ride home. A vet that didn't care would have just handed me some paper towels. I certainly wouldn't have minded cleaning it myself but she just picked it up and told me she would wash it out. I was super impressed by that. I'm a nurse and am very used to dealing with doctors and reading them. Dr. Davis is working from the heart and enjoys her work.

You guys are all top notch. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a new puppy! 15 years! I love how everyone was so caring, not only for Stella but also with the loss of our pugs several months ago.
