My daughter wanted to go tubing for her 13th birthday! I was hesitant at first but Brianna & Austin were so informative and reassuring we gave it a go. We started around noon and took 3 hours to get to the second bridge (about 3 miles down). Right as we were getting to the second bridge this crazy storm arrived and Brianna jumped off the bus and got our floats. She got soaked but she wanted us to get on the bus to take us back to the parking lot which was about a 5 minute drive. They took our pics before we got on and kept our valuables safe! We had such an amazing time we are planning to do it again when we head back. They also recommended big Mikes for dinner and it was the perfect ending to a perfect day! Thanks guys! Can’t wait to get back!

A buddy and I needed to burn a few hours on a Saturday, and we decided to try out tubular tubing. The owner Austin is great to deal with…super informative, enjoys interacting w his customers, and has everything you need and more in the shop in case you forgot something for the trip. The trip took just shy of three hours, and the stretch of river is beautiful. Will definitely be back with more people. The boiled peanuts next door are good too!

My family had a blast tubing on the French Broad River with tubes provided by Tubular Tubing. The owners of Tubular are very helpful and help you put the tubes in an easy accessible area. The river is beautiful and very clean. Its about a 2 1/2 hour trip. We saw a white squirrel, otters, and unique ducks that we have never seen before. We will definitely be going there again.

My husband planned today's adventure into the mountains. We ended up at this cute road side property, next to the river. Austin, the owner, was most welcoming. Darius, his helper, was just as kind and helpful. He snapped this picture of us before our trip down the river. The tubes were very comfortable for both my 6'3 husband and my short self. The water was cold but VERY refreshing. The river was clean & clear... It offered rapids and obstacles but ultimately was truly relaxing! We captured some spectacular sights of the mountains illuminating through the trees and above the water. Our float lasted a good 3 hours... we are so eager to go back and bring friends. THANK you Austin for your genuine hospitality and gratitude for our business. We need more of YOU in this world 👏🎉👏

If you are within an reasonably driving distance of this place, I highly suggest you take 2 to 3 hours out of your day, and experience this!My family and I visited here from Florida where you could never dare go into any lake, pond or canal for fear of native Wildlife like alligators, so being able to stick a inner tube to float down a river in North Carolina, blew my kids minds!Oscar is the man! Very humble and modest about how he was able to build that place up. He trusts families to have a good time which is why his tubing experience is longer and more relaxed then some competitors, like the one just up the river from him.The river itself was great, with some slow areas for relaxing and then mini Rapids with a fast current. It was very cool! The only actual danger we faced were tree branches sticking out of the water and getting too close to the ends of the river and encountering other debris, but that is something that the tuber needs to be aware to avoid.After following the directions by Oscar to go to the second bridge on the left hand side, there are concrete steps leading up to the road. A quick phone call to him and he was there to pick us up within 5 minutes. When he says it's about a 2-hour drift, it is just about that, possibly longer if you pull over and stop for lunch, pictures, etc.Highly, highly recommend! And no doubt we will be back!

We really enjoyed here. The river and scenery was so beautiful. It is definitely worth to drive up to this place from GA as it was so much quieter and more beautiful compared to the tubing in Helen, GA although we enjoyed there too. The staff was friendly and welcoming as well.

Absolutely amazing experience. The owner, Austin, picked us up on the shuttle and took us to see a bald eagle perched on a tree. He told us to come back whenever we pleased and to just give him a call. We will definitely be coming back here next time we want to go tubing or rafting.

We are from Ohio and went on vacation to NC. And found this awesome place and the owner is amazing. I would always come back! Had the best time even if it did rain we still enjoyed so much. Owner made us feel so comfortable and you can't beat that! and the rivers right by his front door so perfect! Thank you for giving my family this amazing adventure! Austin and his family are the real deal. This is the best part of the river!! Clean, fun, peaceful and the hospitality was amazing. We loved every moment of it....even our 16 year olds, and nothing makes them happy. lol Otters, white squirrels, friendly people along the way. We spent 2 hours on the water and were promptly picked up at the end and shuffled back to base. Reasonable pricing. Spend your hard earned money here with them, they care about the community and you will not be disappointed. Bonus points for having the snack stand right there when we all got back - also delicious!

Kind service, relaxing kayak trip with just a little excitement. Nature joined us with dragon flies, butter flies and a white heron. The staff handled all the set up and pick up of the kayaks. Go, you won’t regret it!

This place is such a gem. Can’t wait to come back for tubing next weekend. We came by to get some fishing gear, and the owner set us up with some poles and we had a blast. Most of the shops in town were closed, and when we called the office to see if they had rods for kids, Austin came in and opened up the store to help us out.

Absolutely love this place, we are locals and come here often! And on a side note if you are debating buying a water proof case , BUY IT, I lost my phone on the River and it was found 6 days later in one of the water proof cases and it was perfectly fine! Well worth the money!

Had a wonderful afternoon thanks to Tubular Tubing. Unlike other kayak rentals with set start times, you can come anytime and rent a kayak here. You set just steps from the parking area and the kind owners pick you up when you reach your destination. The owners couldn’t have been nicer and they even took this photo while I paddled away, and texted it to me later. Just a lovely lovely small business. Incredibly affordable and the kayak was in perfect shape. Highly recommend. We have done Headwaters around the corner for years but now Tubular will be our new go-to kayak and tubing rental spot!

Tubular tubing and their staff were amazing! Very accommodating, informative and professional. They gave us tons of info on the different rivers around the area as well as food options and other attractions for our vacation! They truly want their customers to leave happy ! We rented kayaks and had a blast! Took around 2 hours from start to finish! Will be back next year!

Super time tubing on the French Broad river. The owner Austin is a really cool guy who helped to make our trip the best. He gave us tips on enjoying the crystal clear river by stopping to swim and have our lunch, and on what wildlife we might see. We spent almost 3 hours floating including a stop for lunch along the river bank. We were a group of 4 friends who were tied together which added to the fun. We seemed to have the river to ourselves as we didn't run into anyone else on our float. We called Austin after we got out of the river and he was there to pick us up in about 3 minutes. After our trip, we were able to order some hot and fresh funnel cakes and fried strawberries. He also has a little shop there with lots of great fishing lures. Highly recommend Tubular Tubing for a great day on the river. We stayed near Highlands and this place was a little over an hour drive away (totally worth it). It was a beautiful drive and we look forward to our next tube float there!

My family had a great time tubing. Austin was there quickly to pick us up at the end. He has a great selection of fishing gear and bait. He even gave me some great tips on fishing in the lake where we were staying nearby and I was catching bass all week.

Highly recommend!!! Can not wait to visit again to either fish, tube and/or kayak. Austin, the owner,and Bree were welcoming, helpful, kind and friendly. Best customer service, you feel like friends!!! We traveled 1 1/2 hrs to try them due to their 5 star reviews... definitely worth it!!!
