After my older Aunt reported to Manager that she saw the cashier attempting to take money out of her bag, the management allowed the cashier to continue working while the matter was being looked into. Bravo for providing excellent customer service, Food Lion.

Grabbed a few groceries last night and had the absolute worst shopping experience ever at good ole Food Lion of Roseboro. The trainee that checked my items out, was an absolute gem of a young man, whereas the manager or assistant manager or whoever he is to the establishment, was an absolute pig. His tone and assumptions towards me were repugnant along with his bullying words towards the trainee. Honestly, I have no idea who this person is but I will find out soon enough... People are getting crazier by the second and last night was proof of that. Some woman was behind me and was cussing at me the entire time, slamming her groceries down. Her son stepped right behind me, all super close like, and yelled, "Stop talking into my neck!" I turn and look and he's right in top of me, yelling into the back of my neck...Thinking to myself that obviously these folks are not realizing we're in the real world and not some internet game...As my transaction was completed and I am walking out the door, the super agitated woman behind me yells out, "Take a hike!" Well people not sure when I'll be going back to that hellish store...

Any given day you'll see a dog in that store. I saw one this past Wednesday (7/19/23) when I walked in...and they aren't service dogs. I've reported it to the state and submitted a picture...nothing. I've reported it to Food Lion corporate...nothing. I guess it's the rural area. Is it hard to believe people don't want dogs around the food they're purchasing?

Do not know his name but the young gentleman with the manbun in the deli is absolutely fantastic and it's always nice to have eye candy when walking in to do my shopping. Good job young man! Didn't catch his name but he's a very well spoken and a polite man! Makes my day when I get to see him

Customer service is great! There’s a manager/shift leader there named Emily and she’s got to be one of the best customer service reps I’ve ever encountered!!! She makes you feel right at “home” and offers to help every chance she gets! So thank you Emily for making my experience at my neighborhood Food Lion easy quick informative and helpful 💛💙🛒

Only place I shop, the staff is always great. Being handicapped however I wish they had more Handicapped parking spots. But glad that they always have a driving cart for me & that I ALWAYS have the same wonderful woman helping me get my groceries to my truck & she knows when she see's me that I need the handicapped cart & will find me one if they are available. I wish I remembered her name because she needs a raise, she takes really good care of me every time I go.

Usually the staff is quite nice; the other day a young lady named Dayan did not respond to my greeting, did not look at me, and did not say thank you or goodbye or anything at the end of the transaction. Also, please clean the scanner glass between transactions, cashiers! I do not care to have my groceries dragged through slime. Finally, employees should not be allowed to park in the spaces nearest the store, and that includes you, Mr. Manager. Lead by example! (This is all directed at the Roseboro store.)

I just witnessed an incident that portrays very poor customer service. I was behind a lady in line that was getting ready to spend over 120.00. She had 4 little packs of chicken due to fact store had no family size packs. store staff would not allow her to buy them, said there was a limit of 2. She explained she was trying to have a cookout and spent 300.00 weekly in this store. Staff did not seem concerned at all. With the "rip off prices" being charged and poor customer service, how long can they survive? If they continue they will be like First Citizens bank of Roseboro. Going out of business! People dont have to put up with this. What has happened to this country? You dont even get a thank you at most businesses anymore

It was pretty stocked up on food, and the workers were nice. They also had a cleaning station with wipes, sanitizer and more. The bathrooms were clean and they had hot water and a foot opener. The prices were high but that is expected and there were some deals. The manager she was a b*tch she kept staring people down and previous visits when gone to customer service she had a bad bad attitude.

I would give higherarks to the store, as the people are very friendly and the store is consistently clean and well stocked, but I have a serious problem when I walk out the doors and the staff is sitting not 10 feet away smoking. I don't want to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke when I go shopping. Can't they smoke someplace other than the front door?

This is my favorite food lion to shop @. The people that works there are very friendly always willing to help if you need it. The store is very clean the shelves are always stocked. They even take your good out of the buggy and put it on the belt for you. Now Walmart could take lessons from them....

My aunt and I both have requested items here that are never stocked. We try to shop here to support our local business but the little selection of organic produce seems to always be half rotten but sold at full price.

The people at this food lion are great, customer service is awesome there, went out of there way to help me with my cliet, Wal-Mart told me I should have thought about that before we went there. Friend of my client helped get us a cart, Wal-Mart in Clinton nc very rude, I have a new place to shop, food lion roseboro nc thanks for great customer service.

New renovations now looks more like a Krogers. Reflected in raised prices. That "Mom and Pop" feel is now gone, BUT still my favorite grocery store.

I frequently shop there and for good reason. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful to help you find what you need and it is decent on the wallet too. Worth going to.
