This store is ok but a little on the high side. The meats , they are half from Mexico and other is from us. Ask the butcher which on is which. They do taste different!!!!!!!! Ask it doesn’t hurt, they say they are the cheapest around because most are from Mexico

Management at this establishment is horrible. They treat their employees like dogs and talk to them in very condescending ways right in front of customers. I witnessed Adam Baker, a manager, make a new employee cry right in front of me by verbally demeaning her all because she didn’t know how to run a check. Unacceptable behavior. Don’t support this business, go to a better grocery store. And believe me… there are better grocery stores. They get one star because they have AC

The customer service representatives are always polite and willing to answer all my questions about any products. I call in so often however they will go to the isle, look for the product for pricing so I can be prepared as I'm on a fixed budget. I've even spoken to the store owner MS Peggy I believe is her name , she's always so helpful as well. Whether it's produce down to the meat department everything is always freshly grown in rose Hill at great low prices!

I try to support locally owned businesses. This is the best IGA Grocery Store around. Most prices are reasonable. Meat prices are usually lower here, especially when the store has featured meat items, then the meat is really a great deal. Produce and veggies are local and really fresh when they are in season.

Have to be careful and check for expired dates on canned goods..great place to buy meat.. friendly service..well it used to be a good place for buying meat..bought a large 20 lb ham, smoked and vacuum sealed, brought it home and put it in the fridge..2 days latter I took it out unwrapped it, washed it off and put it in the oven to cook,after checking it I noticed green mold spores all over the ham..had to throw it away..so if the meat is at a great price ,really look at it and ask how long it's been in the store refrigerator

I love this place and will always support them. During hurricane Florencen they where the only grocery store that was open in Wallace and Rose Hill area.. The line where long but that didn't matter. Mrs.Vicky and her staff where awesome.They made sure everyone was okay and had everything they needed. When people didn't have I saw donations from the store. May God continue to bless this grocery store. Go by and support the people who supported you during a hard time for our small community ❤️❤️IGA Rose Hill NC will always get my support😁

Godwin's is a great local family owned grocery market. I go there about 5 times a week. The Godwin family and the employees all are friendly the speak to ya when ya come in and leave sometimes we will have a whole conversation (this happens a lot with my son and Adam, my son has ADHD and ODD, and still Adam takes time to talk to my son Brandon.

I went in to buy some Cole slaw. All the bags that they had were expired. Ask one of the cashiers did they have any more in the back and she said no. They didn't take down the expired bags and still insist that I should buy it.
