Lovely Vineyard with such beautiful scenery. Learned a lot on the tour and wine tasting (we purchased the flights)🍷 Thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

My partner and I had a pleasant time at this beautiful winery. We decided to spend our afternoon lounging while enjoying the tasty wine and food. I would recommend it to anyone looking for something to do on the weekend or haven’t been.

A exceptional place. Sitting on the patio, enjoying a light lunch with the views of the vineyards and country side was quite relaxing !

Such a great visit with our out of town guests. It really felt like we were in Italy on vacation. Jesse was so knowledgeable, welcoming and engaging. We will definitely return!

What a pleasant surprise this winery!I have seen Toscana, and I have relatives there . Yes, this property does resemble Toscana .It is a beautiful building with amazing views. The outdoor seating has beautiful furniture and the views are relaxing .I did tasted the wines. The vast majority are red wines, but that sparkling withe is amazing . Like a sparkling Moscato. They are organizing events here as well.It is one of the best vineyards that I visited in NC .

Took a day trip from Charlotte to spend the afternoon at this winery. We were all blown away at how nice of a day it was. My family lived in Napa for years and they even raved about this trip. The atmosphere and grounds are stunning and the wines are surprisingly great for NC. Only thing they could improve on is the tasting and tour, the staff didn’t seem too enthusiastic about either. Other than that, it was a perfect day and we will definitely be back to visit.

Beautiful vineyard! The wines were good, but nothing spectacular. The charcuterie board is pre-packaged, along with other snacks you can grab out of the cooler. There was also a food cart selling hot dogs, sausages, and pretzels the day we went. Service was fine, yet no one in our party felt like they were happy to have us. Nice winery, but probably won't return.Ambience: 10Wines: 7Food options: 6

Great views and the architecture of the building is magnificent. Though the only food they offer are cheeses and crackers, there is usually a food truck/trailer in the parking lot that has more substantial offerings. I would be very happy to see them pave their parking lots instead of the gravel they have now which is not ideal for nice cars, and also I wish they would offer at least one wine which is sweet...currently they have none and I know a lot of people prefer sweeter wines.

I'm a local wedding photographer (Jenn Eddine Photography) and I'm here to tell you, if you want the most beautiful ceremony location in the area, this is the venue to book. Not only is a ceremony overlooking the vineyards with the mountains in the background absolute perfection, but the tent is a lovely space for your reception. The getting ready area for the bride is perfectly spacious, so you have plenty of room for you and your girls to get ready. It's truly a gorgeous place! I highly recommend it! One of my new favorite North Carolina venues for sure.

The picturesque property offered a delightful experience with the option to bring our own food and enjoy a delightful picnic amidst the stunning surroundings. The selection of wines was outstanding, and almost all the wines we tasted were fantastic. One of the highlights of our visit was discovering the delightful wine "La Dolce Vita". This exquisite wine quickly became one of our favorites with its unique take on the widely popular Italian sweet wine, Moscato. Its rich and luscious flavors made our tasting experience truly unforgettable.Keep in mind that you can't bring your own drinks, but the on-site wine offerings were so delicious that it didn't dampen our spirits. A memorable and enjoyable day out!

My friends (reservation of 8)and I visited this vineyard this past weekend, and I couldn't wait to share our incredible experience! From the moment we arrived until the last toast, the vineyard staff were attentive and went above and beyond to make sure our small bridal shower celebration went smoothly. The vineyard's picturesque setting provided the perfect backdrop for our intimate gathering, and our reserved table was nothing short of perfection. What stood out the most was the exceptional service we received. Staff Justin, was incredibly attentive, ensuring that we were not short of wine and he went out of his way to accommodate our needs. His genuine enthusiasm and warmth added an extra layer of joy to the celebration. The wine selection was outstanding, and the knowledgeable staff guided us through the tasting experience, making it not only enjoyable but also educational. The pairing recommendations were spot-on, enhancing the overall culinary experience! I cannot recommended this vineyard enough!

Wow! This place is spectacular and gorgeous. This was the last stop on our tour. This was more on the fancy end of the scale and truly beautiful. The outside seating is awesome! Talk about a view..they have it here overlooking the valley. We enjoyed it so much. I loved the wine carriers for the tastings, I have never seen those before. The wine was great and we loved our visit!

Great experience, fantastic wines, best setting / scenery in the valley. Grounds are meticulously kept on your way in from the parking lot, relaxing you before you get in the front door. Italian-style villa is absolutely beautiful- makes you feel like you are in the Italian countryside.Staff was accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable about their wines, which were all delicious!Major kudos for the No under 21 policy. We have had more than a few visits to similar establishments tainted or ruined by “parent-less” children. (Babysitters gotta eat too!:)

Just wow! This is probably the best vineyard and winery I have visited. The view is spectacular! To visit, you can make a reservation for a sit down tasting upstairs, you can do a walk in tasting or flight at their downstairs bars. I did the walk in tasting. It was $30 and you get to keep the personalized wine glasses.. You got to try 8 different wines, about an ounce each. The history of the place was shared as you taste tested. Allison was the staff person to help me and she was wonderful! Raffaldini brother and sister, who are first generation Italians in the US opened and operate this location. They chose the location because it is at the same elevation as their home in Italy where their family has historically made wine. They grow all the grapes that they make their wines from, which is rare for an NC winery. I liked all of the wines that I tried and a few were really good! This is a winery you must visit! Their wines have won awards. If you buy 6 bottles, you get 5% off. There is plenty of parking. The Parking lot is gravel. Restrooms were clean.

At our7/3/23 11am wine tasting we learned so much, not only about the Faffaldini family and their wine making enthusiasm, this wine making region similar to Italy. We were able to ask questions and were rather satisfied with each conversational answer. Thomas Jefferson’s efforts to bring wine making to the US leads to dramatic influence on the European wine industry. We were well satisfied with the tasting of award winning lineup. The 35 acres of vineyards, wonderful buildings and grounds, well educated staff was all worth the cost of the tasting. Our group of tasters purchased quite a few of the exclusive bottles of fine wines, not available anywhere else.If you’re interested in NC wineries…. Don’t miss this classic well run operation.

Very nice Italian style winery in Rhonda, NC. The grounds are beautiful. My favorite wine is the Sparkling Wine. Everyone was friendly. They have a pizza truck on site with fresh wood fire pizza. This is a great place to spend the weekend.

This winery is by far one of the most beautiful wineries I have ever been to. And the staff was wonderful!! Very informative on the wines we sampled and very attentive making sure we were satisfied during our visit. If you are looking for a quiet spot, you don’t have to worry about kids running around screaming, and you can just sit back, relax, and enjoy the views and wine, I highly recommend Raffaldini! 10/10 WOULD recommend!

My two friends and I visited Raffaldini Vineyards for the first time and loved it! Jordan Church was helpful in setting up our visit. The wines were excellent and the views were gorgeous! The only food available were prepackaged deli selections to pair with the wine. There was a food truck in the parking lot which was good. The piazza is sheltered but there were no fans set up so it became quite warm; too warm to linger over more wine. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and left with bottles of wine. We do plan to return in the fall to enjoy cooler temps and linger over bottles of wine.

Great indoor/outdoor experience overall. EXCEPT for the service...We were a group of 8 doing the wine tasting experience which we all loved and enjoyed so much that most of us ended up buying full bottles of wine. After sampling the wine and purchasing some bottles we sat on a table outside to chat and drink. Our server -Steve- was just awfully rude to us since the begging. We asked for a couple of glasses to drink the wine that we just bought inside and for some reason he seemed to be annoyed by it.He rudely corrected one of us when we asked for a cup for the wine saying "we don't have cups, we have glasses" we all kinda laughed it off even tho it was kinda snobby and in a rude tone. After that comment he took forever to bring 2 "glasses" for the wine, even though he came back to the table a couple of times after. We had to remind him to please bring the glasses and when he finally did he didn't acknowledge us and proceeded to ignore us for the rest of the service. His attitude ruined the ambience for the table and we all felt uncomfortable.Overall he made us feel uncomfortable and pressured to immeditely buy more wine even tho we just had bought full bottles inside a few minutes prior and we hadn't even started drinking them yet.He was so unwelcoming that we all just finished our drinks and left. The worst way to end the night.Besides the rude server STEVE the experience was great!I cannot emphasize enough how beautiful this winery is!!! Great mountain views and tasteful decor. The inside is nice and clean, the outside is a beautiful landscape with rose bushes, statues and a fish pond or two.The wine tasting experience was absolutely delicious, great ambience and a very knowledgeable tour guide. The winery does not have a restaurant but there was a lobster food truck on site. The food wasn't groundbreaking but it was good. There is plenty of grass and shade to lay a blanket and have a picnic on, as well as benches and picnic tables.

Beautiful vineyards and estate with seating options. They have good wine collection and really like when our server went beyond to find us a specific wine taste we were looking for. Definitely worth visit !

One of the best wineries I’ve been to in the area and I go to wineries frequently. The views are immaculate, the service is great, we had a man named John that served us and he took great care of us. I would definitely be coming back!

First of all the weather was beautiful; sunny and warm with a slight breeze. In choosing which wine to have, they were very helpful and explained in detail. It was clean, quite scenic and well designed. Would def go back

Beautiful vineyard. The wine tasting villa is good too. You get a good view. The staff is so much knowledgeable, they know everything about the wine and which one to drink with what food. If you are bringing your own food then there is picnic area. Or best is you should get from food truck and taste it with the amazingly beautiful view of vineyard. You can go for a stroll in the farms. There is also a wine tour starting at 4 pm.

We really enjoyed our tasting at Raffaldini on 8/13/23. The view is spectacular and the Italian style wines were delicious. We especially liked the Rosato, Mezzogiorno, Montepulciano, Dolce, Auguries and Meditaziore. Our tasting host Jesse was attentive and friendly. Fantastic job!

5 stars for the property, vineyard, and view. 1 star for hospitality. They told us not to stay at our table longer than 2 hours. The server/waitress did not seem to know what she was doing; we had to ask for everything and then wait a long time (and then wait some more). They are not doing wine tasting right now. A wine flight was $15 and was literally 4, 1 ounce pours, barely 3 sips. The wines are good tasting, but you get the feeling that unless you are here to buy big purchases (several bottles), they want you to move on.

The grounds and view were breathtaking. Pictures do it no justice! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. It was extremely peaceful and relaxing. Every wond we tasted was delectable. I plane to return in the fall once the season starts to change. Definitely suggest going with friends, significant others, or even alone! Only about an hour and ten minutes from the charlotte area.

Raffaldini was the first vineyard I ever went to back in 2015. It was so beautiful, so welcoming, the staff was friendly , and the wine was amazing. Unfortunately, we go back every year and are more disappointed each time we go. This place has gone downhill over the years. The tent is an eyesore and takes away from the beautiful scenery, the staff isn’t friendly anymore, it’s way too crowded, you need reservations for certain areas and to do wine tastings when you didn’t before, and you can’t bring your own food unless you sit in a certain area.It was where my husband proposed to me back in 2018, and we hold many memories there with family and friends. However, we won’t go back until things change. It is not fun anymore. It’s almost a bar/restaurant feel with people getting way too intoxicated and loud. It used to be quiet, peaceful, beautiful, and fun. It’s not anymore. Go visit other vineyards in the area that make you feel welcome, at home, and have the feel of a peaceful and fun vineyard with good wine, like Adagio, Midnight Magdalena, and others.
