The love and compassion our animals receive from Rolesville Veterinary Hospital is impossible to beat! They have saved 1 of my cats that was not supposed to make it. They have been taking care of one of my other dogs consistently for the past several months. She was coming in every other day for the longest time. Then they admitted her for a week and she healed right up!I have Trupanion Pet Insurance and they pay Rolesville Vet Hospital directly!!!! That is something that almost zero Vet Hospitals offer!In addition to my pets the front desk ladies are Phenomenal!!!! I have 6 kids and they are ALWAYS prepared with surprises for my children when we go. They feel like family when we are there and to me that’s a big deal!I know My pets are well cared for and loved with being taken care of by Rolesville Veterinary hospital! If you have not already then you should give them a try!

They take my concerns as serious as they would if it was their own pet & never make me feel like I'm an inconvenience.

Dr. Sawyer and the staff here are phenomenal. I highly recommend taking your pet here, especially if they are elderly or have health problems. Dr. Sawyer and the team took amazing care of our elderly dog Jolie. Not only did they give her a longer and happier life despite all her health issues, they showered her with love and affection. Even after Jolie's passing, you could feel the love they had for her. You couldn't ask for a better vet!!

The entire team here is very friendly, and all about top notch care for our fur babies. Always provide extensive information regarding best options and it has always been just the greatest experience. They are wonderful with the babies as well as understanding and tolerant with this sometimes overwhelming Mama. 😍 You can never go wrong choosing this team for all you vet care needs.

Both Rolesville and Louisburg Vet (its sister hospital) consistently offer wonderful service and compassion to my little rescue beagle Dori. Dr. Hummel is a skilled and very fine doctor, and I have come to depend upon for her expertise in dealing with my dog's challenging needs.

Today my mother brought in our old family dog because 3 days ago we started acting sick and panting to much. Today it got worse so my mother left work in a hurry to bring him to the vet. Our dog was then put on oxygen and one of the male vets came in and very coldly said “we think it’s a heart murmur so he won’t make it through the night.” My poor mother was devastated and he went on to say that “we should put him down right then and there because he won’t make it through the night”. My mother then refused because to our understanding he is in no pain so there’s no reason he can’t pass calmly with his family. The male vet when on to say “ how will your children feel if he passed away at home” my mother came back in hysterics. I will tell you one thing I’m WAY more upset about how the news was presented and the insistence despite being very clear on her decisions. Down right cold and really a way to tell a family there pup that was just healthy is about to go. I hope no one else has to experience this kind of treatment.

LOVE THIS PLACE. If I could give 100 stars I would. This is truly a place you can trust your pets with. The staff is absolutely incredible, from the front, to the technicians, to the doctors. I do however want to give a special shout-out to Dr. Sawyer. She is beyond amazing, she is so caring, knowledgeable, and is always going out of her way for her patients. Ever since my dog was diagnosed with epilepsy, she has been there every step of the way giving her all when we need her. I could not imagine going to any other vet.

So glad for Rolesville Vet! My previous vet could not be counted on…always canceling or moving my appointments, even for my dog’s neuter that had been scheduled for months(they moved it twice!). Rolesville vet was able to get my boy in for an exam and get him neutered for me in a timely manner so that I could be with him during recovery while home from work. They were kind, professional and took great care of my wild man.

Just want to share our experience and many years with Dr Jennifer Hummel & Rolesville Animal Hospital. We have been patients since Dr Hummel came to Rolesville in 2008. We couldn't ask for a sweeter and kinder vet, she truly loves and cares about what she does and it really shows. We had our annual visit yesterday with her at the Louisburg office and everyone there is great too! My dog, Khloe, won't let anyone come near her when i'm in the room, but if Dr Hummel takes her in the another room, she does great. That's how terrific Dr Hummel is. Her office is extremely busy, but they are working as hard and fast as they can in these tough times. Please remember if you go, to be patient and kind to her staff. The visit was one no one wants to make with a beloved companion, but the staff and Dr. Baker made the circumstances bearable for us humans. My boy Brute is in a better place and out of pain and left with his dignity. The explanation given and understanding of everyone at Rolesville Veterinary Hospital during this pandemic was so above and beyond what I could have hoped for. I would and will recommend taking your furry, feathery, and any other kind of companion you have here for their medical needs. You will not be disappointed. Thank you also to Dr. Hummel for setting up the ultrasound so I would not have any doubts about his situation. Safe journey Brute and I will see you again my friend ❤.

My rottweiler, Angel, had to have surgery on her knee 3 1/2 weeks ago. Dr. Hummel at Rolesville Vet performed the surgery and I am beyond satisfied, pleased, and happy with her and her team!! Angel finished her last laser treatment (which helps the healing process and inflammation) over the weekend and is scheduled to have follow up xrays on Wednesday. For an almost 7 year old, 107 lb rotti, she is doing fantabulous!!!I highly recommend Rolesville Veterinary Hospital to any and everybody for their pets care! ❤

If you are the kind of person to never ever question a vet and their beliefs and protocol then this is the place for you. If you get extremely upset about your pet being sick and maybe let a mild curse word slip then this is definitely NOT the place for you. They don’t like ANY sort of questioning or criticism whatsoever. They refused to tell me what my dogs test results meant when he was very sick, they mailed the results to me (MAILED!!!) then told me to find another vet because I was being “disrespectful” (what are we in elementary school here?) and they did this without even an attempt to discuss the issue with me first. Extremely unprofessional. I was questioning their protocol and did not want to get even MORE Antibiotics, which seems to be their immediate go to for everything and anything. I also*god forbid * questioned the healthfulness of mass produced purina kibble. They were shocked that someone had the audacity to actually research what kibble is really doing to our dogs. It’s too bad because I’ve been here for years and loved Dr. Baker. When she left it’s been downhill ever since.This practice is all about only serving clients who blindly accept anything they say, obviously. Stay far, far away.

I can't say enough about this place!! We went on vacation before Christmas and when we returned home our 3yr old kitty had a massive blockage.... I mean horrible. This was Christmas eve so we were forced to go to the emergency vet and (with just a basic exam no x-rays) were given an estimate of $3,300-$4,400.... AND if that didn't work surgery would be needed that could tack on an additional up to $4-7,000. We just could not take that on! And I asked if I could take him home for Christmas to be with our kids before we had to do the heartbreaking task of putting him to sleep. The emergency vet said not to let him suffer and to bring him.back on Sunday..... I held out til Monday to bring him to Rolesville Veterinary Hospital and I am so glad I did!! He is coming home today!! I can't wait to pick him up!! And all for WAY under the original estimate from the emergency vet! I can't thank you enough!! Thank you for all that you do!!

Extremely rude customer service!! Ive been trying for 3 weeks to get my dogs flea medicine. They used to carry it in house. Now you have to jump through all kinds of hoops trying to get the RX filled. 3 weeks later and I still don't have it. I called the vet this morning and said if I can't get this straightened out, I will go to another vet. She said "that's fine". Really?!?! Wow! That's all I need to know. They no longer care about their customers and she made that quite clear. I will never be back.

If there was a zero star, I’d choose that. I have always brought my dogs here, and I loved the vet we always saw. But, this has gotten ridiculous. Someone is NOT doing their job…AT ALL. They have had all of my dogs records mixed up for A YEAR. A YEAR!! Every time I call, it’s supposedly handled, but NO! They have one dog in there 3 times, with only partial things charted on each record. One dog had no records charted at all. They have a dog that doesn’t even belong to me down under my records, but somehow, 3 of my dogs are not. They had them as not receiving vaccines, which I knew they did receive, based on seeing them get the vaccines with my own eyes, AND I have the paperwork. I asked them repeatedly to please fix all of this, as it’s a problem when I bring my dogs to pet spas to stay while we’re out of town, but each time, it’s A MESS! I have had it! I was patient for over a year, but now, I’m over it!

Elliot, Brittany and Dr. Hummel were all AMAZING! After having a bad experience at Raleigh Community Animal Hospital (RCAH), we were a bit apprehensive trying a new vet but we have nothing but positive things to say about Rolesville Veterinary Hospital! Dr. Hummel spent a lot more time with us than the terrible vet (Dr. Simon) at RCAH & she gave us several options to think about...even the possibility of acupuncture! I highly recommend Rolesville Veterinary Hospital! Thank you all for a great experience today!
