I rented two paddleboards from Rodanthe Surf Shop while here on vacation. The boards were great and the rental process was very transparent and easy. The people who run this shop are awesome people. They also have an great selection of clothes and gear in their store. Would recommend!

Best shop in the outer banks. family owned , community aware . Jason and his family surf and knowledgeable about the he area and breaks. Helpful to the pro down to the novice. Great merchandise and prices. Rentals available and very affordable prices. The guys and girls at the shop treat you like family it can he alittle crowded at the ones but they do the best they can to make your experience great. So glad you his family has the shop for the surfing community and the Rodanthe community . This family is one of the best. Support a local family that gives back. Rodanthe surf shop y'all rock

cool place had a younger dude with a cast help me out super friendly, while i was filling out the surfboard rental form , he switched me to another friendly dude and helpd us pick out a board for us (my son never surfed) took it out the next day and my son caught the first wave he shot for and popped up and road it all the way in and did so for the rest of the week . i will forever do business here. great time made the obx trip extra special ..

Great shop. I think we stopped at least 4 times between myself and my family during our 7 day stay in Rodanthe. There aren’t a lot of places that sell “Rodanthe” anything, and this shop did it right. Small and authentic. Great concept, awesome owner who is down to earth. I dont feel the least bit upset for giving this store most of our money during the week. This guy has done it right and deserves every penny. My only request- put more of your clothing on your online store please! We’ll be back regardless.

Extremely helpful and friendly! Could not have been nicer and not pushy at all. Loved the tshirt design and she even told us why the mosquito is the mascot for the store. Will be back!

Stopped in to pick up a shop hat for my son and had a nice chat with Jason. Nice guy. Knew I didnt know a thing about surfing but was very welcoming. Provided great tips on a few places to grab dinner. Has a small skate shop area with some decks on display. Good assortment of wheels and trucks .New skate park 100 feet from shop .

I love this place! I had a board repaired there and they did an outstanding job on it!! Turned out much better then I anticipated and under their original estimate!! Also scored a great deal on some rash guards. Really love the vibe of this place and the owner Jason is super cool. We will be back for sure!!! Some other big shops in the area could take a REAL lesson from RSS and how to focus on people and not the dollars.

Wanted to get tee shirts for gifts..called ahead as it is winter hours. Owner was gracious and stayed open so we could stop and buy our shirts. Great inventory, all sizes. Beautiful sunglasses and everything you could want. Visit when you head to the island.

Great family run surf shop. I stopped in for a minor board repair, the owner dropped what he was doing and helped this tourist out as if I were a local. Amazing folks, great prices....highly recommend!!
