Awesome employees! Great spot to get your fishing license. Sandwich size bag of shrimp about 5 bucks and plenty of other pre-packaged local bait. Coolers full of bait fish on ice as well.

Loved it. We got all the gear we needed and the guy had all the good information on the local fish like a bait shop should! Its unfortunately rare for bait shop employees to actually give you a good fishing report these days which is the only reason to shop at one! Great job

Late evening, husband stopped in to have new eye put on surf rod, gentleman who worked there (from Australia) was super nice and did super repair. Lady who appeared to be manager was awesome! They have great selection of all your fishing needs. Definitely place you should visit.

Went there late in the day to get an eye repair. The gentleman stopped what he was doing to fix it instead of making me wait until the next day. Everyone there are great to deal with every time I'm in the area I go there before anywhere else they are my first choice for business no matter who else is open. Bar none they are the best. Don't take my word for it stop by and see for yourself you won't be disappointed.

This is a really cool, local little tackle shop with a great selection and a very knowledgeable staff. Also, it's the main headquarters for century rods, which are, as far as I'm concerned, the best rods made today. They can custom build something for you as crazy as you want, and we'll even let you test rods out in the shop to show you how well built they are.

Came in looking for some help. Friendly people that know what they're doing. Set me up nicely went out the next day by my house and caught a 6 foot shark. Gear was violently tested for 3 plus hours and held up. Very grateful to this store for their helpful advice, products, and all of the excellent service getting the gear all rigged up. These folks know what is up! I spent 10 minutes in there and got a lot of good info. They got me on my first red drum ever! Nice little store with knowledgeable folks and a great selection of terminal tackle, rods and reels.Nice bait selection as well. I'll be back for certain!

Had Ryan build a surf rod for me about 13 years ago. A Century Tip Tornado LD 13' spinning rod. It is still slaying the fish. The best rod I have ever bought in my life. The only place I would have a custom rod built. Thanks Ryan!

Jay the owner is a great source of information and recommendations for the novice or experienced anglers, besides being very welcoming. Check out the history of how the shop got its name. A very cool place.

Friendly service! Ryan is very knowledgeable about surf fishing, fly fishing and all other forms of fishing in the outer banks area. He was a big help with tackle and was very willing to show off all of his personal equipment and share knowledge about his rods. Great place for anglers to get a quick repair on a broken rod or an even better upgrade on there current kit.

4 stars simply because I’ve been here before. I went in this past week, grabbed a few supplies, laid them on the counter and just stood there while the help tied rigs. He did not acknowledge me and I was trying to be patient. Another customer walked through the door with his mullet. The guy behind the counter looked at the other patron and said “ Bro, you ready to check out?”as he reached across on front of me to grab the other customers bag. I simply turned around and walked out. I then went somewhere else to purchase my gear. Customer service is where it’s at for me.

I think the service was complementary the guy that helped me rig my line was definitely had a good background in fishing but the only pet peeve we had was there were no receipts at all he said it was economically friendly I know I lost a package of bait in the mixup with all the money being exchanged from hand to hand and when I went back to look at my receipt on my phone it appeared and went So you couldn’t even go back and dispute your case about the bait that you lost but other than that everything was kosher
