By far the worst pharmacy I have ever been too. Have picked up from this location several times, as I try to not to not judge places off of one bad experience. Every single time the customer service is terrible and the staff move at a glacial pace (with the exception of one lady who helped me out a few months ago). Took twelve hours to fill two very common prescriptions. Ended up having to send someone to the location for me (because I am sick) and ask them to make it then and there. This was after a staff member told us six hours prior that the prescription would be ready in 30 min. Please go to any other pharmacy in the area, especially if you need the medicine in any sort of urgency.

I was sick w COVID, had a fever & generally not feeling well. It was on a Sat afternoon when I noticed my fever had spiked. I called an online dr. I cked 2 see what pharm were open late since it was late in afternoon & I needed 2 get my rx quickly. Online it showed this Walgreens as open until 11pm. I had the dr 2 call in my rxs 2 this Walgreens pharm. It showed online that my rx would b filled by 8:02pm. My husband went 2 get my much needed rxs but called bk 2 let me know pharm was closed. It still showed open til 11pm online. I called & spoke w manager who said they closed pharm @ 7pm 2day. He stated only 1 person in pharm. I expl that online it said open til 11pm. If that is not the time they r open, they need 2 take it down!!! I'm now w/o my meds that I need.

A disaster of a pharmacy. Takes forever to get a prescription every single time. Been here for a year. Horrible customer service, always has an attitude. Pretends like they don’t know anything. Doesn’t call you back. I had to call twice just to find out it’s been 5 hours and they don’t know when my prescription is going to be ready, and didn’t want to give me a supervisor. Called Walmart and my prescription was done in 30 minutes. Switch to Walmart, they’re cheaper and quick and has amazing customer service.

The Walgreens at the corner of Sunset and Hwy 64 in Rocky Mount North Carolina is understaffed for the amount of pharmaceutical customers you have at this store. The employees are rude, and do not seem to care about the customers. I just heard a clerk tell someone to get out of their drive through line. The drive through lines are doubled constantly half way around the building. I don’t understand why you have two drive though lanes if only one person can be helped at a time. You don’t have two tellers that can wait on them at once. I sat in the drive through line for an hour the other day. I eventually had to drive off. You have three registers and only two people running them. Two of the cashiers alternate between the register and the drive through window. There needs to be at least two cashiers, and one drive through cashier at all times. I also have waited in line for over 30 minutes to pick up one prescription. This is absurd. I will never come her again, and recommend to everyone I know, not to come to this Walgreens. I’ve also been told people drop off prescriptions in the drive through and sit in line and wait for them. This is unacceptable. I have never heard of this type of business practice.

Claims to be open 24hrs…pulled up at 11:20pm and they were closed. They need to take the 24hr sign off the building if they always close early due to poor management.

My experience at this Walgreens was horrible, when an employee dismisses you for asking questions, I don't want to shop there no more must less get medications from there!!!

You never can tell if you will get your medicine filled in 1 day or 2 weeks. They constantly are out of medicine. They never have it ready when you request refills until you call or go up there and I’m 30 minutes away so it is very aggravating with my busy life. They never answer the phone after you’re placed on hold. They hang up. They will say come back in 20 when you go to the store. You can come back an hr later and they say it’ll be 15 minutes. This is the worst pharmacy I have ever tried to deal with and only continue to because my work hours make it hard to go to a non-24 hour. I guess it will be my only option to try another place and hope I can get to them before closing unless I want to continue to have mental breakdowns just to get medicine for me and my kids. 🔥🔥🔥

Please Stop!! Do not come to this Walgreens or any for that matter after 10:00pm me and my fiancé have been here twice on two different occasions where they state “24 hrs” and they are not. Their doors will be locked by 11:00pm promptly. No one post a sign or anything several have parked and I had to inform them of other workers priorities such as informing customers you are closed upon arrival (A sign on the door will do) But they sit and ignore you as you stand there and ask them questions. Highly disappointed as a customer and as a worker see this as highly unprofessional.ZERO STARS

Horrible. They don't answer the phone. The drive through is closed and you wait in line 45 mins to get a question answered because they won't pick up the phone.

Very poor customer service in the pharmacy. Several issues over the last few months with medications getting filled/filled in a timely manner/product availability/customer service/phone hold times. I'm typically a pretty patient and understanding person, and an apology is really nice- mistakes happen- we are all human. But, identifying the continual issues and resolving them is the best business practice. The one star I have to give can be for the convenience of them being open 24 hours. That is truly wonderful. But, I will have to take my business elsewhere because the service is so poor.

Just moved to the neighborhood. Drive thru closed two days in a row. Line inside is 11 deep. I’ll be moving my prescriptions to CVS. This is ridiculous.

If I could choose ZERO STARS, i would. This pharmacy used to be so great and so convenient for me being that’s its “24 hours”. Constantly getting the run around when you call, constantly out of medicine and won’t tell you until you call and have been on hold for 30-45 minutes. The app halfway works and the customer service SUCKS. Will for sure be switching pharmacies.

The store proper is good, pharmacy is beyond slow...15-20 minute wait to drop off script in store, 60-90 minutes to get script while waiting in store. Then when it is ready, you have to go to the end of the line after the long wait.

Purchased gift cards for loved ones. Later found out at least one of those cards had a zero balance. Original manager I spoke with showed no empathy for the situation. This manager simply stated that any problems with gift cards purchased in store must be directed to the business of the card purchased. In other words, (and I'm paraphrasing) "we only sell the cards, we do not take responsibility for them". Only after I persisted, was I then allowed to speak to another manager who at least offered to check the original sale for accuracy and reprint the receipt so that I could take it up with that business. Now I have to travel out of my way to retrieve this receipt, call the business to try to correct the issue, and check with the other people I purchased gift cards for to see if they used theirs, or to ask them to check their balances. And possibly, go through this rat's nest again. What was supposed to be convenient gifts has turned into embarrassment for my loved ones, and myself, and a massive inconvenience. Though it may not be their fault, I will never trust Walgreens with a gift card purchase again. And partly because of my dissatisfaction with the the way this was handled, and in part because I am embarrassed at how mad I let myself get over it. I will probably avoid this store altogether. Maybe this is just bad luck, but I would have to advise against trusting Walgreens with any gift card purchases.

just got hung up on for the third time. all three times i was on hold for 30 minutes. this happens every month even though i get the same meds EVERY MONTH. despite the fact that other pharmacies allow stimulants to be refilled online, walgreens insists on making me call, then does this. i’m done

I'm very disappointed in Walgreens, I moved all my prescriptions to the Walgreens on Sunset Ave. Rocky Mount , NC because they have reasonable prices and a 24 hour drive through. However now I have all my prescriptions there. I'm disappointed in you Walgreens. Nothing but issues one after another. This last one was a insulin prescription that now has me going over a week without. Took you all three days of me coming back because you all said it'll be fixed. Then tell me on third day it was a insurance issue and that you all were fixing for me to wait two days. So i did exactly as you all asked. Only to be told after coming back two days later the insurance needs More information from my Dr. Well that's another three days because I'm finally told on a Friday at 8 pm. So fast forward after i contact my Dr office Monday. They send you what you wanted, asked for, and needed. For you guys to tell me today you don't have any in stock! Seriously a life maintaining medication you don't have any after over a week of me getting run around and getting things straight. You Walgreens will end up killing someone because of incompetence behind your counter. I'm thinking seriously about looking into further actions towards making sure you Walgreens learns from this miss information from you yourself to the public. I don't want you to end up harming someone besides just myself being without for a week and some days of insulin. Get it together Walgreens. And P.S. get your website together otherwise I wouldn't have to post this publicly.

Worst Customer Service Ever!!! Was on hold for 45 minutes and then the rude people just hung up! My doctor sent electronic script over on Monday and it's now Thursday! Just had surgery on both kidneys, I need my medicine!!!!! No issues with insurance, nothing that would hold the process up! Switching pharmacies, I spend too much money to be treated like this... Hope more will follow, ya'll obviously can't handle the work load or know how to be professional!

shabby handling of prescription services...out of 6 scrips they were filling on same day every 3 months they twisted to cause me to make a trip every few days several times a month... I got fed up with it and switched to CVS

So if there was away to put 0 stars i willed so this is the 3rd time of me calling cuz my phone ended the call after a hour on hold they need to find a better way to help people it was a 24 hour store where you was able to get medication but now 7am to 10pm with the diagram they are not that busy so why cant they come to the phones alot of people have to call in medication cuz they cant do it over the online or app

I got so fed up I had to change pharmacy's. I have sat on the phone for as long as an hour 40 minutes. The drive through is broken down every few weeks and when it's not there are long slow lines. I am disabled and walk distance or stand for long and line is ridiculously long and no one is in a hurry. So most times I would have to go home on the other side of town a waste of time and gas. I spoke with the manager about maybe they were understaffed. I got a shrug from him. I used to use Walgreens on Raleigh Road and never had to wait in crazy long lines or wait for a hour plus to get through on the phone. They say they closed because they weren't making money. Right after they closed it was announced that Walgreens had bought Rite-Aid. So I guess one had to go. I finally had enough and switched pharmacies. Even this has taken 2 weeks between myself and the new pharmacy it has taken that long to get a hold of anyone. I was just promised it would be taken care of in the morning. Hopefully I have run out of several medications. Run don't walk to any Pharmacy other than Wal-Greens on Sunset. I would have given them less then one star if it was possible.

Yesterday, I waited about an hour to pick prescription for my baby. Attendant said RX, was not called in. checked with my doctor and by error was sent to another Walgreens on same road. I was told first attendant could get my baby med’s if she wanted but because of been busy, she didn’t took time to get the extra mile and help me get the RX’s for my sick baby. I was so disappointed.

This pharmacy has no desire to move quickly... there is always a line of 5 people or more with one person working the register at the pharmacy. I have never been in and out of this store in less than 30 minutes. No time is saved in the drive thru either. I do not recommend this location for pharmacy use.

They had the items I needed so I was able to go by there and purchase my items. The staff was very polite and helpful and the store was very clean and orderly. I will return to this location again to make more purchases in the future!

Staff is friendly and always helpful. I have never been disappointed with the service at the pharmacy or in the general store. It's also comforting to have a licensed pharmacist there 24/7. The pharmacists have been extremely helpful recommending over the counter solutions to problems from a nagging cold to meds for a puncture wound. I have great confidence in their advice.

I have been with this Walgreens for over 10 years. Unfortunately, I have recently moved my prescriptions elsewhere. They have too many customers and not enough help. The wait times are horrible. They can never find your medication; always looking through crates, baskets or in the floor. Someone needs to come through and close this pharmacy down. Customers should not have to be subject to such mediocre service as this Walgreens. Do yourself a favor run away...

Have a bad experience everytime i go to this pharmacy. Most of the time they cant find my sons prescription. I called in his prescription before lunch time and didnt go get it until 10 when they told me when i called it would be ready by 445 i sat there for 2.5 hours for them to tell me its going to be $85 i have only paid $15 for this medicine at this same pharmacy for the same medication why not tell me like you normally do every other medicine that costs a lot that it was going to be that high! I could have went and borrowed the money. Luckily his medicaid was showing right in the system for once that they finally ran that i only then had to pay $1 every time i go they are always understaffed for a 24 hour pharmacy and to be the only one open 24 hours in this area. I always have to wait. They always say they didnt get the request for a refill when i know damn well i called. Or my medication dont pick up with the automated system so i have to wait and talk to somebody and i am always on hold. I will be switching pharmacies and they just lost my business altogether. The only reason they got one star is because i had to put a star to post this review. If i didnt have to it would be no stars
