I order my groceries from the one on Tarboro Street. Charlotte is the best and so is Rashard. I've only had one substitute I didn't like. I tried to change it, but the check out happened too quickly. Overall, I'm pleased and glad they offer Pick Up service.

No meat cutter on duty and lines wrapped around up front. Left my cart right there and spent $200 at Harris Teeter. At least they had employees.

Very friendly. Always clean and stocked up for what we need. Never see anyone being lazy. Always willing to help and toll go the extra mile when asking for help. Definitely makes you feel at home and down to earth type of people. Love the fact that it's so close by home as well. Welcome to our neighborhood FOOD LION on 301 Harbor West at Rivers Edge! No other place I'd rather shop. The one and only little problem I have is that I haven't seen food lion branded French fries or pop tarts and Tostinos supreme pizzas and minute maids strawberry kiwi 20oz bottles in months. 🤧 😭😫🤣 but that's prob more of a manufacturing issue. But PLEASE make them ALL return! 🙌💜

Overall the store is always neat and clean but wait times for checkout is ridiculous. Anytime I go it's always only 2 registers open which makes it hard to get home and cook dinner in a timely manner.

There's always long lines at the register there's never hardly more than two registers open with lines out in the aisles I have actually turned around and walked out because I'm not standing in line 15 minutes to check out a case of beer

Their Rotisserie chicken is amazing! Got home and only had to pull the bones out because it was falling apart. Hot and ready!HeadsUp: If you are going there, be sure to pick up a directory flyer. They reset majority of the aisles so please plan to be in there a little longer than usual.

The only food lion in Rocky Mount that I've been to and liked since I moved here 2 months ago. The staff is super friendly and actually greets you🤯 and I was looking for a good produce section which here it's neatly and well stocked. I'll be making this food lion my regular grocery store🙂

Nice store but lines can get long with few cashiers on duty. Management should be able to jump on a register to help get lines down. They'll look at you in your face and say nothing. Our time is valuable. Don't want to spend 10 minutes in line for 2 items.

I am normally in & out here. Always seems to be alot going on in or around the store. So I only go for quick trips. They do normally have what you need I will say. Rarely do you go in & can't find what you are looking for, so that's a plus.

I like this store as much as I like the other Food Lion stores in my community. They are friendly and have good sales. However, I would love lower prices so I don't have to shop at Walmart. I hate the Walmart in my community because they can't and won't keep shelves stocked, the store manager is never there when I'm shopping and this store appears to be removing the smaller shopping carts, but won't say why. In addition, it's no use calling Walmart corporation because they don't want to hear from customers either!!!

Best produce in Rocky Mount for making a literal "EVERYTHING FRUIT SALAD" the plums were perfect. They had every color grape, kiwis, bananas and ripe peaches. I ended up getting an entire bag of oranges with the intention of using 3. They had a good selection of apples as well. For the rest of the store I cant say much, because I didnt really leave the produce section, but what I did see was clean and neat and there were no bugs or squishy fruits or anything negative like that. I was super happy with the cost of my purchase as well as the quality of the fruit...and how great the fruit salad was

I am a regular customer here because it's closer to home. I'm always happy to see. Mrs. Susie which will be retiring soon. I give her customer service 5 stars. My children and I are going to miss her. She's such a sweet lady. Mrs Brenda who works in the meat department is a sweet lady too. Very friendly. However, this location to me tend to have pretty good deals.

There seemed to be few employees who don't like ppl working there. They could of been having a bad day but still. The store is laid out different than the other stores I've been in. Kinda weird. The bakery smelt awesome. It was all I could do to leave without buying something from it.

I really REALLY wish employees would stop smoking on the right side of the building. Go to the left side by the woods. Walking past 2-3 employees smoking and getting hit with all their smoke is by far the worst experience I always have with this store. Which is a total bummer because this store normally stays stocked with all the stuff my family likes. People have asthma, COPD etc... but as long as employees can smoke 10 times a day near customers, that's okay. What a shame

The young gentleman helped bring a huge bag off dog food to my vehicle and put it in for me. I tried to tip him and he declined. Just a genuinely nice guy happy to do his job and help customers. Made our day.

The store is fine but I pull up there at night and they have young female cashiers out in a poorly lighted parking lot gathering shopping carts. I have called headquarters numerous times and nothing has been done. I say 5 grown men inside stocking shelves. I am going to find another grocery store I refuse to patronize a business that doesn't care what happens to their employees.

I love this Food Lion store. The parking is plentiful and food carts not all over the parking lot. The store is very clean and shelves are well stock. Plenty groceries all over the store which makes shopping easy. Nice fresh deli bar. Excellent customer services.

I literally just left there and I absolutely love this chain of grocery store. True lately since covid they may be out of stock of some thing from time to time but their produce is the freshest, meats are the best cuts, deli is always ready to cut your luncheon meats and cake orders, and some of the best prices on the staple foods like bread eggs (real) cheese and milk and baby food. There is a baby formula shortage but whatever hasn't been recalled already they have it. And don't get me started on the SAVINGS. MvP customers save! My last few trips I saved at least 25-40% on my normal groceries! They also offer money services such as money gram and western union as well as cash back for no fee and limited check cashing for low fees. They also have lottery and lotto vending machines. Propane and refill and online shopping with instacart and foodlion ToGo. All they need is a seafood deli like Harris teeter but I'm sure other larger store have those as well my local store is pretty small but JAM PACKED WITH FRESHNESS AND SAVINGS.

Food Lion is my Number One, all-time favorite grocery store. I've always been able to save money with them. When the stores got remodeled and new products were introduced, that was the icing on the cake! And I just love the Shop And Earn Program! Just to see people's faces when they hear my total after a Shop And Earn reward had kicked in...I LOVE it! Those sweet little surprises that are loaded to my MVP card every so often...plus the friendliness of the employees and the cleanliness of the store...I'm loyal to Food Lion for LIFE!!!

It's products r very neat & attractively presented. Their MVP pricing is competitive but their everyday prices r much higher than the discount grocers like Wal-Mart. The attractive displays do not make up 4 the higher costs.

Always look forward to coming here when I need to prepare a meal. Every employee that I have met has been extremely hospitable, and I would even say they remind me of my family. I look forward to seeing them even when I do my shopping. always good selection of vegetables and meats. I have never gotten anything spoiled or rotten (except for a bunch of cilantro a couple of weeks ago). Oh, and they always have the most beautiful and affordable plants and flower arrangements that I have found in Rocky Mount.

Long lines. Only 3 cashiers,one if which notified me that she would not be taking any more customers after she waited on the gentleman in front of me after I waited in line twenty minutes. There were at least six people in line behind me. The other two lines stretched down the shopping aisles. So I left my cart and took my business elsewhere. Food Lion at Oakwood.
