The store is very neat and organized. They have a great selection of sports wear and equipment. If you have to use their restroom though, better bring some tissue or something because they don't ever keep their restrooms stocked with toilet paper. That's the only reason for 4 stars

Went in store with the intention to purchase firearm. I had all proper paperwork. I must had passed 4 employees. No one acknowledged my presence whatsoever. The store itself was in disarray in every way shape and form. Needless to say I purchased my handgun elsewhere (smith and Wesson sd40) how this place is still open is a mystery. SMH

Everything here was more expensive than I expected. Even the items that were on sale still shocked me - especially the clothing. This place is great for the emergency sports equipment purchase, but if you can plan ahead and find a better price, then that’s what I would do

This store is litterly the worst I've ever been in. Items strewn every where. Nothing has prices on it. Every bow haning up has been dry fired. How this place is still open defies any understanding I have. Apathy is the name of the game here. Employees are hard to find. Bathrooms are atrocious. I truly truly hate this establishment. Just for the love of God go to the one in Wilson or better yet Cabelas.

There is hardly ever anyone to help you in the sporting goods section, especially if you want to buy a firearm. I have seen so many customers just walk out frustrated including myself. What a shame and disappointment that the manager there doesn’t care

The gun section had two gentlemen working and they were super nice and helpful. They were also very knowledgeable about the products.The rest of the store Short staffed! I needed help in the shoe section and I waited for over 30 min and no one ever showed up.

This store reminded me of Kmart right before it shut down. Stuff scattered everywhere in the isles. Shelves empty. Employees sitting around on their phones trying to blend in with the customers. The ammo cabinet was wide open for anybody to walk up and take what they want. Isn't that breaking the law? Or is that just a store policy? Will NEVER go back to this joke of a store.

Good helpful staff; a little pricey on some handguns, but some are well priced. The Rocky Mount store is a lot more helpful than it's Wilson counterpart. Here I have always been helped at the Wilson store I get ignored every time.

Went there for a cornhole game, the staff was very nice, friendly, and very helpful. Made the shopping experience easy and fast. Shared that feeling with family and friends when returned to residence. Hope they get their business as well atleast for another cornhole game or two. Very happy with the service...

This was a visit to pickup a cooler for work. Found very limited selection and high prices. Walked around rest of store to take a glance. It looks like they are about to close. Messy, dirty, bare shelves, product on floor. Image an old Walmart about 7pm on black Friday. Saw multiple employees engaged in long non work conversation.

I have been shoppig here since they opened. Prices can be a bit high, but look for their sales. I started working at Dunham's recently, and like most reviews have stated, the store is understaffed. This is not the fault of the management, it has been difficult to get people that want to work. I work in the Field and Stream sectiin of the store (guns, ammo, fishing, hunting, and camping area) and will often have to help customers in the shoe department, exercise equipment, work the cash registers, etc. If anyone needs help in any area of the store, for fastter service, let the person at the registers know, and we will do our absolute best to help you as fast as we can.

Stopped by Dunham's looking for revolvers and I was informed if I didn't have a permit/conceal carry they wouldn't even bother showing me anything.This kind of stuff is what you would expect in California much less North Carolina.Take your business to a dedicated gun store where they treat you with respect.

Prices can be pretty high, but the customer service has always been top notch for me. Ive gotten to know a couple of the associates over the last few years, and everybody there is friendly and helpful.

---Assistant Manager was very responsive to customer service incident; got the customer issue resolved quickly, and the customer left happy.---During my visit there was an employee fluent in Spanish.This visit I decided to ask a manager if I could take a lot of photos to post as part of my review, to help give everyone a quick glance as to what the store looked like, and general layout, and product selection that can be found. And I was denied by the general manager, also this manager would not provide me his name, nor give me the corporate contact number. As it was not posted visable anywhere I did take one photo because it shows alot about how the establishment is ran. But following the store manager's request. A layout of this store will not be included.Manager also would not provide his name, nor give me the corporate number. After I explained that I do a non-profit community project on google maps to help people get information about different places. My rating revolves on not on the fact that I was denied to take photos. But because the General manager was extremely rude and will no co-operate, or give me his name, or the corporate number.

Whatever you do dont expect to get any kind of assistance on the phone they are rude and act as if you are asking them to slap their mom or something if they have to do anything other than answer the phone . They dont know anything about anything you might as well be calling a funeral home to ask about the price of a brake job on a train costs . That's about how helpful this stores customer service is

Store has good prices, but is not neat, tidy, ckean, and we'll organized. Prices of items behind the counter (weapons, optics, etc.) are not legible (print is too small, faded/not well-printed) from the customer side.

First time visiting a Dunham's Sports store while in town for travel tournament. Alot of good deals. Was able to find a chair to replace my broken one. Will be checking out these stores more often when near one.

Came here in the fall when fishing tackle was on sale and the prices are really good. You can often find items reduced for inventory clearance and these are a bargain. Plenty to see here guns,ammi,outdoor gear. A good stop.

Went to look at a gun. When we arrived there were about three employees at the counter. When we walked up to the counter they all left. I stood there for about 15 minutes and then left after nobody returned. I won't shop here again.

To look at a a shotgun you first have to hunt for clerk no one is back there Everytime I go in plus they hold your your I'd to look at a long gun in case you run off and you have to have a permit just to look at a hand I told the clerk I'll buy from somewhere else. I going to cw outfitters in Rocky Mount staff is great they have layaway and you don't need a premt until you purchase a handgun

It's a great place for nearly everything I'm looking for. Reasonably priced for the products they sell. My only complaint is that they're extremely understaffed for the size of the place.
