What has happened to the Belk standards? I have always liked shopping at Belk since childhood, but this visit is discouraging.This store is trashed and you can’t find any help. The one lady I did speak with was kind but very over worked. I could have posted 25 more pictures but these are a snippet. It looks like a going out of business sell. Big Lots has upped their game in standards that way surpass this. I hope Belk management wakes up. This is not the only store in this condition.

The juniors section is trash!My daughter can never find clothes that are age appropriate and that she likes. Trash, pure trash, and better of going to smithfield outlets. But the young men's section isn't that bad. I had some good choices and found some things on sale, so good luck

The store is excellent with excellent products. However the store is disorganized and every visit to the store I see 2 or 3 cases of shoplifting. I feel unsafe with the alarms blaring during my visit. The store needs to work on its standards or I feel it is going to shutdown.

So many things on sale. I purchased a new Fall outfit (sweater, boots, dark-wash jeans). I spent approx $100 total. Make sure you download the app and look for digital coupons before going as well. Dressing rooms were clean. An enjoyable shopping experience.

I went to the register to purchase some pillows and the cashier named Janet said to the other employee she was checking out “Am I the only register running? Everybody keeps coming to my register.” It made us feel unwelcome so we left.

No cashiers to be found. I had to walk around the store twice before I found anyone. It was two customers in a line and the cashier told us to wait a minute she had to go get something. She said that she would be right back and she never came back. Waited 10 minutes for her. Had to walk around the store again.

Bought some towels and ordered some sheets from there on 8/16/23. Would like to recognize the sales associate that helped me. Her name was Janet and she was one of the most pleasant and helpful customer service ppl I’ve ever met. A real plus for Belk in RMt. I couldn’t have had a more pleasant shopping experience.

The young lady that helped us was amazing, but she was the only we could find to get help from. It seemed as if all the other departments were deserted with workers which made shopping take longer than needed.

Anytime I try to find a worker to check us out or price check, I couldn't find one on the outer band of the store. We had to go in to the shoe department to finally find a worker to check us out. She was very friendly and very patient. And there happened to be two workers at that counter. For they're not to be a worker anywhere else but to hear I felt was poor planning as they were registers closer to the doors that were unmanned where people could just walk out with stuff. Loss prevention planning details should include manning registers near exits more than interior registers.

I usually shop online but went to the store since I had some extra time. I am glad I did! The store was nice, clean and quiet. The racks and shelves were full and things were easy to find. I used the Belk app to keep track of the things I found and liked. I enjoyed shopping here.

At first there was nobody around to help, then, a nice young girl helped us find a coat we were searching for. Then, we searched and searched for 29x30 pants...none to be found. Not even on the internet! I've always loved to shop at Belk stores but after this... I may not return.

The sales and deals were fantastic but the sales associate was not helpful or pleasant. I was trying hard to find a pair of pants for my daughter to wear to work. The associate did not make even the slightest effort to help me after I had asked her a couple of times where I could find what I was looking for and about specific brands. A customer in the store saw me frantically walking from one section to the next, and I must have looked frazzled or lost, but she asked me what I was trying to find. I explained it to her and she showed me the section I would most likely find what I was looking for and even helped me look for a while. A kind stranger made my day much better and I eventually found the pair of pants my daughter needed for work. Maybe Belk should consider hiring their customers and get rid of their current sales associates that don't want to be there. Just a thought...

1st I've shopped in Belk in a long time. Long slow lines because registers are closed. The price is scanned on an item wouldn't actually scan on the regular register. Showed cashier proof of price. She could do one but not the other so I paid a little more for the 2nd item. No complaints about my cashier. She was nice and doing the best she could and I didn't want to be a bad customer adding to her stress.

I went to Belk looking for a perfume, and I was very disappointed. I was in the perfume department and there was no one to assist me. I waited around for a long time and no one came to help me out. I ended up grabbing one that was on the counter, not the one I wanted, but I do like it. I repeat, I am very disappointed. The only thing I can say is that they do have good sales on jewelry.

It was my first time there. The clothes were reasonably priced, not crowed, and parking was convenient, due to COVID-19. I treated myself to a bottle of perfume, but was not happy when told not to touch the bottles to sample a fragrance. What the heck? Taking away a woman's joy of smelling many different fragrances while shopping for perform is a No No!!!

We are large people. They have our sizes in all clothes. Most stores sell out large clothes first. Just went on shopping trip there recently because of the sale. Bought $800 worth of name brand clothes for $240. Great store for us. If not in the store go online. Usually free shipping.
