Terrible Management, she verbally abuses her Employees and Lee the District Manager refuses to do anything about it, Don’t bother calling Headquarters because they are just as bad. The Manager there not only Verbally abuses through text messages after getting drunk at night but does discounts for herself and takes stuff home with her that is supposed to be thrown away. She done a good Job in the beginning but as soon as her personal life went downhill she took it out on employees, calls out once a week, doesn’t come in till 8am when the store opens, doesn’t do her job like taking in trucks. She puts that off on whoever is working. Her Management skills are terrible. Leaves the drawers in through the whole shift instead of counting it down with each shift so it’s always a mess. I could keep going and going but it would do no good. Don’t work for this store unless you want drama daily. That whole company is nothing but disorganized and doesn’t give any respect to its employees. The only decent manager they have is Shaun and she’s no longer at that store. It’s sad that they let just anyone with no licenses and horrible training run a store. She want keep employees the way she treats people.

The Rockwell Dollar General needs serious help. It can’t be an employee issue. Management and corporate has to know about the on going, for years, problems this store has. Never any product on the shelves. Always in the isles, on the side still in boxes. Cases and cases just keep stacking. Isn’t this a fire hazard? Why can I drive to several different locations and they all are stocked. What is the point in adding a Dollar General to every 5 miles if you can’t even hire staff to stock shelves. Makes 0 since for Dollar General to do interviews and make statements to adding stores to towns, cities, counties for the convenience and the need. If I have to drive elsewhere because my local Dollar General want to decorate their store with cardboard boxes that I have to move to get to anything (yes they’re heavy at times). Maybe a discount should be offered for unboxing or climbing to get to an item. Not that these comments help in anyway that I have ever noticed. This store can’t keep employees. The frustration is seen often with employees and managers. It’s seldom a friendly environment. And the store has even had all employees at the same time quit. And then the store ends up closed.Dollar General’s solution is to build another one. Never to FIX anything.

Dana was very helpful with my purchased today. She checked to make sure batteries were in stock so that my trip from Mt.Gilead to Norwood wasn't pointless. A big ty to her and alsoJil, from the Swift Island DG.

Why don't they put merchandise on the dam shelves??? It's on the roll carts. When I worked at dg in Spencer our truck came on Friday. Saturday morning from 5 am to 8 am we did stock. Shelves were never empty. They have lazy employees and need a new manager to get that store right. Just like family dollar their to busy smoking and looking at their phones to work. Bad management

Store is always cluttered and understaffed. This place is a mess. Takes forever to get checked out . Almost always a long line at checkout.

It's a Dollar General. They are everywhere. I know they are supposed to have the same stuff, but they are all slightly different. Rockwell is just a dump. I don't recommend it to anyone. Shelves are messy. There's always stuff piled up in the isles and they are so narrow that you can't pass by another buggy. Dirty and strewn about. Small and claustrophobic.

They have expanded food section, pantry, refrig & frozen items, good selection. Still in final remodeling stages but lots to choose from. Nice holiday supplies & decorations. Overall, I like it.

I live in granite quarry and when I want to get a diet 2 liter or 6 pack they only have regular of it this is not when just when a sales on it is all the time so I have to go Rockwell to get them. I shouldn't have to do that. Please get this straight. I have no other complaints than that besides not being stocked not enough people to do the job. I see new faces eventide I go there so that means not enough people to do the job.

The manager makes up her own rules, like not accepting change more than $5, even if it was all quarters. Not selling cigarettes if your ID is cracked but fully legible. This is the dollar general in Rockwell. Other dollar generals no problem.

The best bank I've ever been! In an out in 30 mins when I created my account today! Debbie Garver was amazing! If all the employees are as good as her then this place would have the best customer service that I've ever experienced!

I usually have good experiences while shopping here but today was horrible. Cashier, Laura was very, very rude to me. Another cashier came up and she switched register with her. The lady that was finishing my transaction told the people in line behind me they could go on ahead to Laura's register and they said they would rather wait as they heard how rude she was to me. So all the customers in line waited longer and refused to go to her register. She has no business working with the public. She was not apologetic either

Always has what I need, when I need it. Has reasonable prices on items everyone loves like candy boxes for a dollar, a wide selection of frozen foods, automotive equipment like gas treatment and 2 stroke engine oil, paper plates and toys. It's like a mini Walmart, just jankier!

Has some groceries, eggs milk. Fresh, and convenient. I bought a small lamp, a few other household items. Straws for $1. Most would have been more at grocery store. The checkout procedure is tedious if u have more than a few items, but other than that it was a good experience.

Personnel were polite, helpful. Store was crowded with items, shelves very close together. What I wanted was outside so just glanced at inside while checking out. Parking is very tight.

I would give half a star but this will only do one. The store is like walking in a pack rats home. Cluster everywhere. If you find what you need then it might take 10 min for someone to realize your ready to check out. Just go to Family Doller.

The assistant manager Christine Lewis I believe is the rudest person I ever met.I ask to use the restroom and she refused to let me she said the women's restroom was out of order and man's restroom had chemicals in it and refused to let me use it and I am a man.The store is filled too full to move around with other customers the attitude of the employees suck. If you need my feedback again please feel free to call me back or send me a email.But I wish this would be address because prior of my visiting the store my wife was in there a month ago and had extreme stomach ache and also was refused to use the restroom. I believe this is in a health violation of the code and I will be making a remark in our town to the health department. to whoever who This concerns I hope this don't fall on deaf ears.

Because the employee make you want to come back the store needs work but everyone is extra friendly n will even get it out of the stick they fixing to unload most of the other stores will make you wait till they put it out not these guys they realize that gas n getting out of your home when your physical ill and i have seen them treat others the same that did not have cancer as they treat me im extremely blessed to have this store close enough to go to

DG is quick for things that you need quick but... Most DG are nasty out side and the parking lot. Here is a few tips in my opinion will make DG have more business. 1) Stay open later but,you need to have more than one person working because of Robberys. 2) Have more Grocery items to keep people from going to the grocery store 3) If you have 2 people if it gets busy they can open another register. If not they can clean inside and stock. 4) Advertise more sales

The store is a disaster, the management is beyond disrespectful! The distrect manager Jackie is the reason why everyone quit/fired. Which are wrongfully nonrehirable because of Jackie! Not just me, but everyone else. The store needs a nee district manager, new staff!

Typical dollar general. Recently remodeled nice and clean, however service leaves much to be desired. Employees are slow and rude. Update...decided to.give it another try...same scenario....more rude slow personnel.

Local store for everything if you don't wanna hit food lion. For me its walking distance. But too much stuff not enough room. And slow. The line sometimes be wrapped around inside store.

They only had 1 cashier so the line was backed up...also alot of things were out of place... I think they should always have 2 cashiers to keep the lines moving and keeping the store merchandise in place..

Rockwell NC store NEVER has Coke Zero! Occasionally I'm lucky to find a 2 Liter hid in the regular Coke. Richfield always has some, but is a little further to drive to, but well worth it!!

Not my favorite Dollar General, but its sometimes the most convenient. Asiles are narrow and always one register working and one broken.
