This place has a wide variety, in addition to discount household items it has awesome yard signs,bird feeders,planters, lawn furniture, windchimes exc. There's an ice cream bar, outdoor seating with umbrellas and music, a food stand on the weekends with hotdogs and chicken salad and other things to eat, sodas, lottery, tobacco, fishing and beach supplies, I saw tons of adult and children's diapers in various sizes for really cheap and 5 gallon buckets of laundry pods too. There is a huge parking lot around the back of the store. A kid friendly place with a handicap ramp.

Great prices!!!Customer service is lacking. Neither employee said hello or asked if we needed anything during the 15 minutes we were there.The lady working the register/knife department seems to hate her job and acted like I was a bother for not knowing how to work their card machine and had a very gruff approach. Not what you want to deal with at any point in a day. Religious signs all over the place, but no respect.

If you are shopping for something or are you just out looking……….I can guarantee that you will find something at Curt’s Variety of Rockwell, NC!!They have all kinds of deals and deals that you have to see for yourself to believe it!! They have things that you would expect to see in a variety store, as well as some real treasures, especially if you have the time to really look around!! You have to make time to look around, because there is so much to see in their store.I had been looking on line for a device to aid with blood circulation and neuropathy issues for a friend!! As luck would have it, Curt’s had several of the devices that I had been reading about and researching! Lots of people love to shop at Amazon, but Amazon cannot touch Curt’s price, not even close!!! Amazon price - $100. Curt’s price - $50You know, I made that purchase that day, along with several other items!! The staff in that store are extremely helpful, and they talk to you, as though they have known you all of your life!! They welcome you as you enter their store, they tell you if you have any questions to please ask someone for help, and they do their very best to answer your questions. Let’s face it, there may be pallets and products that come to their store, but if the employee had the day off before these arrived the previous day, or the following day, they might not be aware of what just came in. There was a lady helping me who works part time and when I asked her questions, she said, “ This is my first day back in here in a few days and I’m not sure, but I will go and find out for you!”That is the type of customer service that I experienced with several of their employees and I am anxious to go back to the store to visit again soon because you can always find something in there that you need. If you cannot find it for yourself more than likely, you can find something that you know that your friends are looking for and hallelujah you have found it at Curt’s Variety of Rockwell!!If you are on that stretch of road where Curt’s is located and the front parking spaces are all filled, there is parking in the back!! They have plenty of spaces, and all you need to do is just pull in, park the car, head inside, and let the adventures begin!! I am sure you will be like me and looking forward to going back to Curt’s Variety of Rockwell again!!

Way overpriced merchandise. Use to be pretty good, now someone is charging more than the regular stores that you shop at. Laundry detergent higher than dollar general or food lion or Walmart, paint in damaged cans, some unusable, dried or previously frozen. $30 THATS HIGHER THAN LOWES! dried out caulking...and what's REALLY BAD, Is a NO RETURN POLICY! You can find a few bargains on health and beauty, but the more important items that you would use regularly, I don't buy there anymore because of their prices.

I was in the VIP room asked a question and the young lady give me feeling that she didn't have the time or really want to answer me. So I asked someone else and they help me and was a lot nicer.

They have a lot of things in this store. Just like the name variety, they have a variety of things. I bought an American flag and a Happy Fall flag. I bought a door mat for my porch. I would like to have stayed longer, but I had to be somewhere by a certain time. I will go back and look around another day when I don't have to be somewhere. It is worth going into this store.

Great place to find almost anything you'd like. Prices are cheaper than the big box stores and the employees are as friendly as you could find. They could have better parking though. I'd give it 5 stars all day long.

Love love love this little store. Super friendly and helpful staff. Lots of deals on items. A lot of different items to check out. ADDED BONUS!! THEY HAVE ICECREAM!! Updated!! 10/13/2023... still an amazing little place to shop. Lots of Halloween decor. Perfect for anyone on a budget, but still want to have that "SpOoK" on the best day of the year!! The staff are so kind. Super helpful and they don't stare you down or freak out if you lose track of time and spend 2hrs in there just trying to decide what you want after wanting everything they got. ☠️❤️‍🔥👻

I visit Curts pretty regularly. The prices on some items are great, others are high almost as much as in stores. Staff are not overly friendly at all, more cordial. Parking isn't great and the store is cluttered making it hard to move about. All in all definitely worth the trip for me though!

Dude this place is absolutely sweet. They’ve got tons of little odds and that she didn’t even know you needed in your life. As a truck driver and being away from home this is the absolutely thing I look forward to coming and getting ice cream for me and the family to enjoy. The ice cream here is absolutely amazing and the staff that works here is super friendly super helpful and always in a great mood. It’s places like these that make small towns like Rockwell feel like you can truly raise a family around good centered townfolk and be OK.

Absolutely rude workers accused my family of moving their shopping carts to park in a parking spot when there were no carts there to begin with so that their truck could come in. Instead of politely asking to move the car they were extremely rude and we're yelling at us through out the store. You would think if they needed an area blocked off smart people would use ropes and not shopping carts anyways ! Next time try valuing your customer business
