The people are great. The man who owns it is very and funny most times. The older lady that works there is a very sweet lady. All of the stuff is authentic, and most of it is in very good shape, and for many of the things theyat a fair price. Overall, it is a very great place to go.

Employees are unbelievably nice, patient, and knowledgeable. The selection is outstanding and the prices are more than fair. I drive around 3 hours to get here and it’s worth it every time. The only bad part is that you have to be careful not to spend your life savings on all the awesome stuff they have.

We had and amazing experience buying and looking around. Great service and alot of really cool stuff. The owner is a really cool guy and was extremely helpful. I will definitely be coming back soon for the great prices, cool weapons, and nice clothes. We also greatly appreciated the fitting room

Owner was awesome, very personable and able to help. He also owns another store in Fayetteville, so if you are looking for something specific, he is able to source it. He also paid me very fair prices for my surplus military stuff, much more so that a few other nearby shops. Would not hesitate to do business with again.

Great military surplus shop! Although Mr Curtis handed over the reigns, the current owner/manager is doing a really nice job keeping the place well stocked and welcoming. Still a cool place to hang out, hear stories from Vets and pick up quality military gear at MUCH discounted prices. SERIOUSLY affordable GEAR! I'll be back for sure.

Stopped in to have a look around, I had not been in there since my friend (everyone's friend that knows him) sold the store. Prior to that I had been coming here since I was 8 (now 43). Every time I would come to look around and see what's new, I ended up staying for hours talking with the colonel and listening to his stories.On this visit I met the new owner who has been there just a short time now and is himself a Veteran. The atmosphere was like I remembered, the chairs for having discussions of all kinds are still there. There was work going on as a shipment of merchandise was being distributed throughout the store but the owner still took time to chew the fat.A great place to find gear, supplies and everything military surplus.I will be back and I encourage anyone reading this to go check out The Rucksack Military Surplus.
