My wife and I drove an hour and a half to visit this location. It is a really big, nice, and clean store. However we didn't really find a lot of stuff that we wanted. The technology and computer section was pretty cool. We always enjoy the books sections. The best part about this place though was the Salty Bean Coffee shop. The lattes were do good and made this drive down worth it!

I love vintage and thrifting. My husband surprised me with a secretly planned trip to check out this 16th largest Goodwill in the nation.Right off the bat, I noticed it’s not as big as I thought it would be. What I did find in Clothing was nothing spectacular. Other reviewers had similar things to say.I am not saying don’t visit this Goodwill, no, of course merchandise changes daily, but do not drive hours to come to this location. I am so glad my husband had done the research to make more of our overnight trip. We took off to the charming village of Pinehurst and also had dinner in Southern Pines. Aberdeen also has a small downtown with some thrifting options. There was also a Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Aberdeen. Check out what I had to say about that store in my review.One more thing!People seem to like the Salty Bean coffee co. in this Goodwill location. My husband had a nice chat with one of the employees. It’s worth a visit.

A very clean and well organized store that is mostly clothing. That said with the fact there's mostly clothes you'd think there would be a dressing room but there is none. How exactly is one to purchase something without knowing if it'll fit, especially if you are not an small person?It was fairly quiet coming Monday evening but I didn't leave with much. Considering I drove out from Charlotte after reading about this store and how large and amazing it is, I'm left with a huge disappointment. The smaller stores in my city are much more interesting, even if less organized and clean.

Just went here today......and like everyone else, not having a dressing room caused my sister to walk out and a place her items back. I went to the website and clicked on the return policy link and that is where it states no dressing rooms. GOODWILL please place that on your website in big letters for those of us that drive two hours to visit. Neat store but yeah ummm we will not be returning. So yeah reading the reviews would be very wise.

Why are so many people complaining?? I always find things for my home, clothes for myself and family. All the time. And the shoes!! They're in great condition and trendy. I got about once a week during my lunch. Never disappointed. Although I am never going to be a fan of sorting clothes by color (c'mon y'all, you have to know the clothes would sell much better and faster if sorted by SIZE!!! this issue is critical to a lot of thrifters specifically looking for clothing. Besides, it's getting sorted anyway, doing it by size is SOOO much better for the shopping experience). I've never once encountered a rude worker there. Not one single time. I did a return once as well, easy peasy. As with any big chain thrift, the pricing can be off at times, you have to decide for yourself if it's worth it (that's common sense). I have a beautiful home and every bit of it came from thrift stores. (Some folks just can't be pleased.) I'll support this location always. Rockingham loves having Goodwill here!!!

Prime example of why reading reviews nowadays is a MUST!??This store is NOTHING like what it has been HYPED up to be. I drove for an hour for ABSOLUTE disappointment.#1. It's NOWHERE as big as it's being portrayed online.#2. It's super pricey.#3. Where is the dressing room??I did buy a muffin from the little coffee shoppe inside (it wasn't all that either) but the kid that sold it to me was attentive and welcoming.I came here on January 25th.My youngest daughter's birthday..... She nor I were satisfied.

Very appealing Goodwill.Very spacious. Color coordinated.This is not one I will keep on my list of go to Goodwills. Stains on the clothes no discounts for that. Rips in lots of the kids jeans. And it was on the pricey side.

Clean and well organized, friendly staff and very helpful. Looking for a good coat or daily wardrobe, they got you covered. Come by and see the good folks at Goodwill, why don'tcha I just don't see why wantcha.

This locations is mainly clothing, is very clean and contains a awasome little Café. At the time of writing this the Rockingham North Carolina Goodwill in the 16th Largest in the United States as far as building size. However I would say that its current inventory, leaves run for growth. There are definitely Goodwills in the Charlotte area that are absolutely crammed with more mens clothing.

A huge place very clean, tidy and with a great variety of clothes. I didn't see any home furnishings for sale but everything else was there available. Plenty of parking space. Few people. Coffee area closed (Saturday 6pm)

While I came to visit my Dad with my autistic son, Grandpa and Grandma knew my son loved thrift stores but especially visiting Goodwill. But we NEVER imagined such a huge Goodwill like this one!!! In Florida the stores don't even come close to compare with the size of The Goodwill In Rockingham. And none have a place to eat or drink inside of them. We loved this!My son and I were completely in awe once we stepped through the doors. Needless to say when you walk in our shoes, finding places that make you feel Welcomed and bring a smile to my son's face when he finds what most would consider a simple toy, book, or VHS logo stickers. My son calls it a treasure.A new found plush friend like the Olaf he found today. I just wanted to send a Thank you to your understanding staff and BIG HUGS. Literally terrible!!!!!!! TERRIBLE!!!!! ESPECIALLY THAT BALD HEAD JAMES! Unprofessional, make it make sense y’all do returns on used non working items but won’t return brand new goods?! Talking about a POLICY!!! James be outside smoking cigarettes everyy time I pull up to that goodwill, he didn’t even try to intervene with the issue because he wanted to take a smoke break.

This store is huge. It’s nice to visit a place where everyone is welcome. The prices are spot on. Don’t know why anyone would complain about prices at a good will unless they are a douche bag.

Horrible service. My mom went to ask a worker where something was and she kept pointing at her ear so my mom spoke up so she could hear and immediately got yelled at saying “you don’t need to get an attitude” when my mom did nothing wrong she even apologized but the woman wouldn’t accept it and two of them stared at us during the entire time we were there and when she walked by she started punching her fist acting like she wanted to hit my mother.

A huge store full of nothingness. This is the largest Goodwill I have ever seen but sadly it is lacking in every area. The media section is meh, the toys and games are full of worthless puzzles and incomplete children’s toys. Electronics is lackluster, nothing of significance in housewares. Overpriced new goods and lots and lots of clothes. Beautiful clean and modern store however. Felt like an airport terminal.

The store manager Sherena is extremely mean, rude and unfriendly towards customers. I have been a loyal customer ever since the store opened, so for over a year. And yesterday when doing a return she told me that receipt that I had was not from the date when that item was purchased. When I asked her to provide proof and tell me when the item was actually purchased she could not answer me. You either need to have proof or shut your unprofessional mouth. She did accept my return, however this attitude is unacceptable and hopefully something will be done about her.

The building is large and clean. The coffee shop is nice and the staff are polite. However, there are no fitting rooms (most of their stock is clothing) and when you return clothes that don't fit, you get store credit instead of your money back. Also, prices are a bit higher than most other Goodwills.

This place was a waste of time! Majority of the clothes there are Walmart brands. Walmart is right across the street...if I wanted their clothes I would have just went there. Alot of the clothes are dirty, stained, torn, had holes in them, etc. Seems like they just try and sell anything that comes through the door instead of properly sorting the good and bad clothes first and foremost. There are no shopping bags to cut back on "waste" (major eyeroll). There are no fitting rooms. Seriously?! I had 10+ items to try on. An employee said I could return them if they didn't fit. Ok fine, I bought everything, went to the bathroom to try it all on (because I live an hour away and wasn't going to come allll the way back here to return it later!) Only 2 items fit so I immediately went back to the counter to return the rest and was given a gift card. Seriously? I literally just bought this stuff 10 minutes ago and can't get a refund?? The employee said GW policy says no cash/credit refunds and pointed to where it says that on the receipt. Well the other employee who rang me up said I could get a refund and didn't mention anything about no gift card! When did I have the time to read the receipt in full between buying and trying on the items in the s**tty smelling bathroom? What's even better...the giftcard probably won't be accepted at my local Goodwill in Southern Pines because they "aren't in the same network as others"...whatever that means. I would never have bought a thing had I known beforehand that only store credit was an option. I am extremely disappointed and will not go back. Don't feed into the hype of these little social media recommendation videos. The only good thing about this one is how it is organized. That's it! I would also like to state that I am a frequent donater and I rarely ever leave reviews, but I took the time to save you all from being irritated.

The largest in Nc? Maybe by the square foot. I thought the stock was hit and miss. They certainly are proud of their connection to Target, but I saw much more product from Walmart. The clothing stock that wasn’t tagged was ehh. Book section was fair. I like that it is organized and not overstuffed. I also believe it is a requirement to be unkind to work at Goodwill. The lady who checked me out was not very nice. Out of the 8 or so employees I saw only 2 were kind and smiled/interacted positively with my family. I live in a neighboring county, but won’t go out of my way to revisit.

Don't let the size of the building fool you, inventory seemed at par with other Goodwill stores. Prices were in line with other stores, but some new wrapped items were quite expensive. They have a Grid section as well, basically electronics and video games priced with eBay prices.Overall disappointed since I made the 1hr drive, thinking it would be much larger than a typical store. Worth going, if you're near or passing through.

I am very amazed at the size and the quantity of their inventory!They have tons of clothes, CPU’s, as well as lap tops. They have so many things that their are to many to mention, the only thing is that I neglected to take a photo of the enormity of the place. I would tell any person that likes to shop frugally to make the trip, it will be well worth it!

Is it a pretty cool place. Has a mall feeling to it. Which I try to avoid malls a lot now although used to enjoy going to them. I hope the grid section here gets to grow bigger. Although is cool now. I have some PS2 games will be donating.

Clothes are a bit overpriced, but the whatnots and knickknacks are reasonably priced. The cashier's are a bit rude. They're not friendly at all! It's like you're bothering them when they have to do their job.

I had a fire disaster on 7/29/22 I lost everything in the fire. I went into Goodwill in Rockingham NC asking about just in general anything they can help me obviously I thought wrong because they don’t support or donate anything to helping out the community. They referred me to Charlotte NC in which that’s not the closes County to me. What’s on top of my situation their employee was not friendly at all .. they we’re charging me Blouses for the price of dresses.I will not recommend Rockingham North Carolina Goodwill Industries Of the Souther Piedmont to no one or even making a donation. I’m a big believer of local supporter

Though it's big, the selection is not.Most of the selection is clothing and not much variety in that. Everything was overpriced for a goodwill, I found much better finds with a thrift store down the road from it. It was spotless, very clean, and there was a very cute cafe inside.
