This was a stop we have anticipated for months, while planning our trip. It was absolutely been worth the wait! We left with lots of goodies after trying all of the delicious flavors on tap. Great folks working here and the cutest set up! We will definitely make it a regular stop when we come back!

(There are some reviews online saying that this place offers tours, has bee-viewing, offers food service, etc) We arrived asking about all that, and the lady working here informed us that those are wrong, stating that it is just a gift shop with a beer tasting / bar area. We still enjoyed looking at the soaps and brews in their gift shop. We purchased 4 cans from their various brew options, and it was about $ 20 total for the 4 cans. They each had unique hints of flavors. It was still a cool place to stop and look in!

Quaint concept. It's a refreshing change from run of the mill stores. Well stocked with Lots and lots of honey and mead products including their mead tap room, where you can chill and enjoy a cold one after a hot ride. Soaps, honey, chocolates, beauty products, gift sets and tours available. Go visit, you will be glad you did. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Stopped by to try our hand at some of the meads and see local gifts. The gift shop has just about everything for friends and loved ones as a great reminder of the well crafted (handmade) mountain area. The meads were an absolute delight and made with care and worth checking out. Cheers!!

Do you like honey?? Than this is the place for you. A huge variety of honey with some unique combinations. We preferred the spicy honey, goes great on pizza. Do you like Mead? They make there own rather unique combinations using locally harvested honey. We recommend the "Dry county Dry."

A fantastic place to check out tucked away in the foggy mountains! The owner/operators were kind and informative and the available samples and mead options were out of this world! It was a very cool place to try something new while we waited out the rain- definitely a cool spot to stop if you are in the area! Also- great gift shop for merch and souvenirs 🐝

Well the reviews were awesome so we went. Robbinsville location. It was sprinkling when we arrived but we were determined to do the self guided tour. We saw no bees just 3 little bee boxes ( in July) stacked up. We saw no cows, goats or chickens (except from the top of the trail we looked across a road). We followed an over grown trail to the top of a hill that had nice signs talking about bees, flowers and other information. We came to a small house but wasn’t sure if we should go in ( no signage) but we did go in. It was a nice teaching classroom situation but all the dead bees in the box really should be cleaned out. We found the barn at the top of the hill but not one animal anywhere. So we headed down the hill ( some very thorny overgrown bushes grabbed our clothes a couple times ). These are just facts. I know with all the rain things have overgrown here. I went back inside and told the clerk about our experience. She was sweet as pie. The honey is amazing and they had a tasting room (which we didn’t try). Lots of hand made items too. We will be back with family one day because I know it’s a great learning opportunity for my grandkids. They also offered Military Discount.

This is such a great place. So many great honeys to try. Bought a bunch of products - hand made soaps and candles as well as three different honey types. And their meads were perfection. Make sure to check out the bees. The goats, chickens, and tortoise were the sweetest too!

We were staying at Huffman Retreat for the week where we found some soap samples from this place. Immediately the women decided we needed to visit the shop, our husband's agreed when they saw there was mead and a tasting room. Thus place did not disappoint. We bought some gifts, a few things for ourselves and the kids, and all the adults tasted their many varieties of mead. All were delicious, but we came home with Dry County Dry and the Blackberry (although the pineapple may be something I go back for). They had a shaded patio and we took a few minutes longer to let the gang play some cornhole (they have a ton of games for kids and adults). Anyway, as you can imagine, we will most likely stop by on our way out of town if they are open. I highly recommend a visit if you like honey, bee's wax, honey, mead, or baskets. 😁

I cant reply so here is what i had orig said: ‘site prominently claims ‘FREE SHIPPING ON ORDERS OVER $35’ so i ordered extra to get free shipping and that doesnt happen. Youll still get the $20 charge so def not worth ordering extra mead. mead was ok but false advertising upsets me. I wouldnt bother again or offer false promos so openly. I emailed about it a couple times, no response so just be aware’Their response:‘FREE shipping is for everything except mead. The Mead is sold through a third party and we have no control over the shipping. We also bent over backwards to satisfy your flavor requests and shipping timeline. I wish we could help more’If you wish you could help, simply remove the false shipping info that is still emblazoned at the top of your site so other ppl dont get scammed. I also apologise unreservedly for barely asking anything of you. If inquiring about items that are literally listed on your website was that taxing, i truly emphatically apologise and feel so guilty bc it was not my intention to cause you to bend over backwards and i would not have felt that way if this was my biz. So I think we all need to be considerate of you and just not order from you. I wont ever stupidly assume you want business again, please accept my apologies for massively inconveniecing you. I hope the extra $20 or so will cover that huge hassle. If you need extra money, better to just be honest on your site ahead of time though.

My wife and I made a day trip her from North GA. for our wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed our visit. We both has a flight of mead from the tap room. I love mead, and they had many selections. I enjoyed them all except for the "Yard Sale". It was had lavender, hibiscus, and cascade hops, so it had a very strong floral taste, much like an IPA beer. I'm not a fan of IPAs because of the floral, perfume taste, so, it's not like it was bad, just my particular taste. The Dry County Dry was my favorite. The staff was very friendly, and welcoming. They had several honey based items they make there. Soaps, lotions, scrubs, etc. It's not too far from the Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, which is a beautiful drive.

Love all the products they have to offer. They have balms, soaps, honey, chapstick and more. The honey is delicious. They also make a few varieties of Mead. Their Mead is carbonated and sooo good. You order two varieties on their website or go to the store and taste them and buy what they have bottled.

Wehrloom added a food truck and also a big outside covered seating area. T Hubbs is the food truck and it's good! Grab plenty of napkins for their messy burger as its true to it's name. It's a big slab of meat with tons of slaw and BBQ on top! One of the best and unique burgers around. The menu has a large selection of burgers and BBQ items. You can shop after eating at Wehrloom for a large selection if honey and gifts.

This is a family run business where all their love goes into their product. The honey is harvested from over 200 hives in a 3 mile radius. They have a taproom with several choices of Meade. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and make you feel at home.

Wherloom has delicious honey! There are so many wonderful flavors. They even have some infused with avocado and hot peppers. Recently they have started to sell mead which has been a real treat. This is the perfect place to bring friends or buy gifts for any occasion.
