Don't let the Italian name fool you. They also have an awesome Mexican menu. Huge portions, fast service, obviously a popular place, and rightly so. We wound up with a shrimp Fahita and the Matador. The calzones that went by the table looked like huge round loaves of bread, and one would have been my second choice. Very pleasantly surprised. White veggie pizza, supreme were both very good! Then we went for lunch and had lunch specials ziti, chicken Alfredo that came with salad and bread and the chicken Mediterranean dinner. All were very good! Definitely will be back!

This was such a nice surprise to find open on a Sunday evening. I was about to start driving home back to Charleston SC and needed to find somewhere to eat first. All the employees were so friendly and kind. The food was fantastic. Everything was so fresh. I will definitely be back next time I visit the Tail of the Dragon.

While in the area and hungry from the days adventure we needed a bite to eat and the meat lovers pizza was perfect. The penne pasta was delicious and we even had some coffee to warm us up during the colder climate. The staff was super friendly and it was worth the stop. Cheers!!

A FABULOUS recommendation by the Quality Inn to come eat here...her words "I would fight anyone in this hotel for their fried ravioli!" And I gotta agree... And add in that their garlic bread and tiramasu was OUT OF THIS WORLD! We ordered the tiramasu to go..and our waitress even saran wrapped it for us since we were on our motorcycles. They were busy but never dropped the ball!

When going to visit my man, we have gone to get something to eat, and he has taken me here 3 separate times when I have gone up to see him. One of the times was at the beginning of the year for lunch one time and then dinner another time. Then again, this past week, he brought me again for a late lunch. Every time we ate at this restaurant, the food was really good. The variety of food that it offers is awesome. We both have had their Italian food and Mexican food and have no complaints about what we ate. It was delicious. They do offer other items on the menu as well, but we choose from what we were craving for the day and time we had gone there to eat. I'm sure everything else is amazing, too.

If you don’t know what you’re in the mood to eat, just go to Cafe De Olla. They offer American, Italian and/or Mexican dishes. There has to be something on the menu that will catch your eye as they offer options.The best Mexican food. I have tried burritos, fajitas, taco salads, quesadillas, chimichangas, and everything is absolutely delicious! You know how some places, all the dishes tastes the same just different names? Well, not this place. Everything is exquisite and the huge perk is, all dishes are seasoned differently.As far as the Italian dishes, I love the eggplant parmigiana, Alfredo, salads, spaghetti and meatballs and pizza.The staff is terrific and they work so hard in ensuring great customer service.Plenty of parking. Kid friendly. Wheelchair accessible. They also offer a carport for bikers.Very clean restaurant and one other thing, 2-3 people can split one lunch if wanted to as the portions are more than plentiful.

We have been there for our lunch after a tiring long drive and really felt happy to have tasted the yummy food. We have ordered fettuccini pasta and fajitas. We ordered a tiramisu as well and all of them tasted real yum. I would really recommend tiramisu for dessert.It was worth the penny.

Our group called ahead but there was no table set aside. Our waiter was running around trying to do the work of 2 or 3 people but there were two other people working the floor. He took our orders on a note pad but had to call out to see who ordered who. There were people who ended up with other peoples orders. To pay we went to the register and told him what we ordered - we could have said anything. We arrived at 6pm but didn’t eat until 7:15. Other people arrived after 6:30 and were served first. Food tasted ok but was a bit cold. Several of our party had parts of their orders provided wrong, like marinara sauce instead of cheese sauce.If you’re going here, go in small groups and earlier or later than the usual dinner hour.

Just visiting the area, and found this place.We came in expecting to get Italian food, but left having Mexican food. Large menu, and everything that we had was solid.Very strange why its marketed as just an Italian restaurant, as they have Mexican, Italian, and American.

Surprisingly this Italian restaurant has a Mexican menu too! This is the best Mexican food in Robbinsville, and maybe even western North Carolina. Yes, even the Italian food is very good! Portions are big, huge selection of food, and food made to order. Excellent restaurant! Lots of parking, kids menu, and some vegetarian options too!

The manager was acting absolutely outrageous and was very disrespectful. I ordered a kids portion chicken alfredo and my mom ordered a dinner portion shrimp alfredo and we received the same amount of food. When we brought this to the attention of the manager he addressed us with an abrupt voice and said that the portions of noodles are the same but the meat portion is different even though I have previously ordered a dinner alfredo and it was much bigger than the portion my mom received. The manager was rude and completely ruined the entire meal.

Lovely little hidden gem. We can tell it's a locals favorite. Seemed everyone there was locals just getting out of church. However we were on our way home to TN from NC. Hubby and I got the Calzones. They were huge and delicious. You can tell the dough was homemade and done by hand. Leftovers took 2 different times to finish it was such a good portion. My son got the kids Alfredo with shrimp. I tasted it and the sauce was really really good. He is a picky eater and didn't complain. Would highly recommend. Nice service and definitely worth it! Wish I had took photos of the food but I did snap pics of the building and sign.

Absolutely amazing food. I haven't had any Italian food this good since my Italian grandmother's cooking. Highly recommend it, great portion size as well. Skip the appetizers unless you split a meal. (The garlic bread with melted mozzarella was the size of a pizza. Absolutely delicious just too big for 2 people, plus our entrées.) Overall great food, good service, and I will be coming back on my next trip up here. Being sure to mark this one as a favorite on Google for next time!
