Needs a remodeling and fresh fruit not over ripe .and a good meat cutter.Clean but prices are more then walmart know way ???? Meats looking better but not produce

They have the best prices on their foods , and everything is fresh , and the meats is very fresh, plus the staff is so friendly treat you like family, so I recommend everybody to visit this place you want be disappointed

Yes, this store is extremely affordable for residents, but if you could spend your money elsewhere do so. Management (Quinton) is extremely unprofessional to be the store manager. He is disrespectful not only to employees, but to the customers who patronize this business. I've seen senior citizens patronize this business and Quinton has been extremely disrespectful to them. This grocery store lacks, respect for employees, customers and Quinton which is the store manager is extremely rude , disrespectful and unprofessional. If I could give it zero stars I would only because of Quintin the store manager. I can't believe Sav A Lot is allowing this level of poor service from management. Customers if you can afford to go elsewhere do so. Unbelievable.

Great place to save. A lot! Meats are real nice. I go about every 2-3 weeks to stock up. At this point I am set for the winter meats and supplies. With this pandemic happening SaveALot is a money saving store to get set for the upcoming unknown future.

Save A Lot is one of those grocery stores that you can pop in and they have fresh salads and fruits that can double as an appetizer or a quick meal. Nice assortment of fruits sliced as well. They have household goods and toiletries as well. Very friendly cashier's as well.

Location of stocked , Clean, had lower prices than Walmart , and is closer to the city center of Roanoke Rapids .Honestly more people need to start shopping locally around here instead of going to Walmart .There are more options than Walmart for instance I like to shop in a path , I stop by Elias Butchery on 10th Street , then Alexios Latino store on 10th Street , and then I go stop at Save-A-Lot for anything else I need.Shop Local , Local Buissness can provide you a cheaper but more quality life than Walmart. Walmart aims to make cheap products that brake sooner so you pay more money in the long-run . Support local

I always enjoy finding bargains at this store. Best price in town for frozen lasagna. You can feed your family for less if you shop here. The produce is nice and fresh.

We went today 12/7/18 AND I NOT ONLY THE STORE BUT I LOVE THEIR FRESH MEATS BUT ESPECIALLY THE SMOKED SEASONED MEATS TO SEASON VEGGIES. HAD GREAT SALES TOO ETC. U SEE I ALWAYS GO TO WALMART BUT I MUST GO TO SAVE A LOT AGAIN.

This store only sell bottom shelf items at an extremely high mark up considering the lack of any quality in merchandise. The store is dirty unattractive and an affront to the dignity of its patrons.

I guess it's called surviving but prices aren't as cheap as they use to be in thier first couple of years in any of the eastern NC stores. They have a good variety of items, but if you are a smart shopper you can buy similar items cheaper at even foodlion.
