What a wonderful experience. This was my first time taking my furbaby to this place. Everyone was very kind. Not the "kind" because it's their job and they have to be, but a kindness from the heart and it's their personality. They were professional and courteous as well. We were treated as family, not as a customer. Very welcoming and refreshing. Thank you Roanoke Animal Hospital.

I believe I read a review on here that mentioned how they handled their aggressive dog well at this facility & my dog happens to be dog aggressive and skeptical of people. Our family takes one of our other dogs here but we needed a vet appointment asap for my dog they hadn’t seen yet. The staff and veterinarian handled her perfect, treated her so well & were very considerate and understanding of the fact that she doesn’t get along with other dogs. They did such a good job. Would go here again if needed ❤️

We are from out of state. I tried several vet hospitals and no one would see us. I called Roanoke Animal Hospital soon after they opened. I told them my situation with my dogs eye and tummy. They had me come in that morning at 9:40. Hospital was clean. Staff extremely nice and very helpful. Only waited about 5 minutes even though I was late because I got lost. They allow you to be with your dog at all times. Doctor was very knowledgeable and checked everything on my little Lucy. They gave us medication and said to call anytime if we need them!! Very impressed and will use them whenever we need a vet service while we are here at the lake. Would highly recommend!!

I called concerning the problems I was having with my Dog Tonka, They gave me an appointment the same afternoon, although I was a patient at another clinic for years, I was not satisfied with them and felt they were just taking my money. Once we got there, we all knew it was time for him to go. The best part is they didn't force me because it was up to me, when I was ready and when I knew he was ready. Abagail was the best, she was very kind an patient with me. It was like she knew my pain. I was told when I get ready call and I could get in the same day so the ordeal or pain will not be prolonged. Two days later, I called and we went in. I was amazed at the room they had set up for end of life services. We (Tonka and I) felt calm and comfortable. I wrapped him in his blanket on his carry bed because I thought it would be a cold room with bright lights and stainless steel tables. It was just the opposite. They gave me as much time as I needed before and after the procedure. I did not prolong it knowing it would be bad for both (Tonka and I) but I did cry in the parking lot on the bench for about 15 mins before heading home. Thank you Roanoke Animal Hospital for making our last experience together a pleasant one. A special shout out to Abigail, she is a terrific person and employee.

I love this Clinic. All the staff is friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and very compassionate! My furr baby is very leery with vets in general but the staff was awesome to reassure that she was in a safe environment and her care plan was explained in order that we maintain our pups well being. We will definitely continue visiting while we are in the area❤️ 🐾

Just had my first vet visit with my kitcat yesterday. I was terrified but every single person was friendly and helpful. The receptionist who answered my a million questions while setting up the appointment, the nurse who kept me informed about what was happening and what I could expect, and the vet who explained treatment and options to me clearly and emphatically. It went so much better than I ever could have thought.

Everyone, from the ladies up front, the vet tech, doctors, assistants; all are attentive and educated. They showered our pup with love and we weren’t left waiting long or hurried out the door. They’ve been great with all our dogs.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We love Dr Brantley, she has an amazing personality and is very patient with my mean grumpy man Ace. She even gave my comfort in the time off need when my dog had to have emergency surgery to remove bladder stones. He seems to like her too because he usually wouldn’t allow anyone to handle him the way she does!! Five stars here!!!

A little more expensive than our usual vet but great vets and we love how they treated our Toby. The only reason we went to yall was cause our usual vet wasn't available, but we're thinking about switching. So thank yall for taking time to make sure our Toby wad ok!

I love this place. My kitty had a sore ear and they saw him right away. My dog ripped a toenail off, again they took him in quickly. I am new to the area so I had called to other places and it would be a week before they could see him. I am happy to have found such a caring place for my pets.

When I got there I had to hold my dog the entire time even if he's only 3 mths and a half he is very big and heavy I thought that they had some type of way to comfort him instead of me holding him and giving him peanut butter he was extremely scared imagine someone holding a big puppy his backpack (because he has to have his treats and poop bags and whatever else) and my backpack so I have scratches everywhere on my arm ok enough about the staff because I could go on and on so I'm checking out and they give me a darn form to fill out mind you I am still holding my puppy and our belongings and now a form in my hands as I was leaving out the the staff watched me the entire time struggling did not offer help at all and then they left and went to the back as I'm still struggling I will never in my life go back there even if my puppy was dying nor recommend them to anyone what's so ever

Roanoke Animal Hospital is great! The staff is so kind and friendly. Not only are they great care givers, it is also a great place to board your pet. We have boarded our dog there for the last three years during our vacation. He loves it so much, he doesn’t want to leave when we go pick him up. We could not ask for better for our fur baby.

Amazing! We recently moved to NC from AZ and we were very worried about finding a good vet for our girl. We had a meet and greet appointment and got some vaccines updated and the entire staff was wonderful! She had a great visit, everyone was very, very kind and so incredibly good with our little pitbull. I cannot say enough good things about them all. The staff are worth their weight in gold!

We recently moved to the area and I was referred to Roanoke Animal Hospital by a neighbor. My dog has been twice, including yesterday to get her teeth cleaned. Each experience was excellent - professional, pleasant veterinarian and staff. Little waiting time and my dog received superior care. I was kept informed of her progress during her teeth-cleaning procedure and was not rushed when I had questions. Great place!

My suggestions are:Since you send so many emails as to what your pet is due for you should know what your there for at the appointment. Also it would be nice if you could help with your pet when trying to check out when their is multiple pets in the waiting room. Have you ever tried to hold your dog while they are trying to get to other dogs in the waiting room?

My pet had a health emergency and could not be seen until 4 days later. I was told to drive an hour away to an emergency hospital with no care in the world. I’m paying a monthly fee to this vet for them to not care about animals. I will not be going back.
