Nice store to window shop at... I suppose it may have member discounts, but the prices are high ... I can get flea meds online for $30-$40 bucks cheaper... It does however offer a large selection and in a pinch I might stop in and buy if I don't think I can find at Walmart less than 2 miles away

If I could give zero , would. My sister and I took our doodles for a groom, and let me tell you , she shaved Maggie all the way to her skin. She didn't finish her feet. My sister's doodle was left with 1 eyebrow, and the other shaved completely gone. Half her butt was shaved, and she had razor burn . My doodle was hardly even trimmed. I guess after she messed up with Maggie, she wasn't trying to mess up again. I was charged for her cut, but my sister was not. However, she traumatized my sister's dog . We told them Maggie had been traumatized in the past and went over everything with the groomer, and she still put Maggie up in the middle of her cut for lunch. Knowing that would upset Maggie. She said her clippers needed charging. If I were a groomer, I would have a backup pair. How do you not charge your clippers? Her cutting our dog was like me working on your car. I don't have a clue as to what I'm doing, and neither did she. I will never go back in there other than to get my refund. I am her to tell you that if you have a doodle, do NOT go there!!! Oh yeah, and the groomer, her name was Amanda !!

We were met by a good associate named Mary Thomas. Our sales process was great. Our dog needed winter attire and will need a nail trim soon. We found out through Mary the grooming prices are very reasonable and pricing is relevant for this area.

They have many dog treat selection. I recommend this place if you have a dog.

Huge shout out to PetSense and store employee Alana in particular. We had been buying our specialty breed dog food thru chewy. Well it has been back ordered thru chewy and we ran out. We were having terible time finding it. We called PetSense in Roanoke Rapids - Alana helped us and she pulled the last bag from the shelf and held it until we could arrive. When we got there she greeted us in a very courteous and friendly manner, she got us signed up for the free bag of dog food program and just couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. We will now buy our dog food thru PetSense and cancel our Chewy program. Did yall know PetSense will price match too?!?!? So, thank you so much Alana and thank you to PetSense. We highly recommend this store and particularly this location!

My cat Stormy really loves PetSense because they have all of her favorite flavors of cat food. She says that the other stores in town have small selections and mediocre choices, but PetSense has lots of choices. She also likes to visit the cats that are for adoption.

Traveling with our senior pup who had a minor car sick incident and was in need of a bath. We stopped with intention of picking up shampoo, but the on-site groomer had an opening and she was happy to help us. She was patient, kind, and loving towards our stinky old guy. Everyone I came in contact with was so kind and service oriented. Beautiful experience at a pet store. Highly recommend

Very pricey. All i got was a few crickets and they were over $5 and they died on the way home from being in a plastic bag. Other places use paper.

Not always offered help, sometimes have to ask for it. Items are pricey but of good quality. Pets are welcomed. It is their store. It would be good to the pet as well as the pet parent if treats were offered upon entering the store or checkout. I do thank you for keeping clean water and mop buckets for the pets happy spills

Staff is super friendly! The gal in grooming got our little dogs nails and glands done in about 15 minutes. **2nd visit** still 5 stars! Had our little guy in for nails. We tried out a few carriers for a trip, none worked for us, but again the staff is so friendly and helpful. We will be back.

All the Staff are great friendly and willing to help. Large selection of toys and other items for both dogs and cats. Pet groomer on sight. They also work with rainbow rescue and normally have at least two kitties at any time looking for a furever home.

I went today to get my GSD nails done and the groomer Amber was very nice and caring to my pet. Since it like the only pet store in this town, I did notice their prices on certain items where pretty high. I'm giving Amber a 4 star rating

I think the store is quite good, when I went it was all picked up, but it looks like they uso have everything, toys, clothes, etc..The staff is so nice and polite and they are willing to help with everything.

i had to get a dogs nails trimmed there and it went well. i adopted a cat from there as well which was a easy process. i dont buy food from their store. its cheaper to get it from ollies or roses chewy or walmart. i dont think alot of the staff actually cares about the animals there. especially when they have cats and they dont clean their boxes regularly.doesnt have a single black person working there and i find that weird
