Myles is so knowledgeable with processing and I can always trust him to give me exactly what I ask for from my deer. I know I'm getting my exact deer back and not just everyone's deer all thrown together. His place is very nice and he even stayed up and waited for me to get to his place with my deer after it took a little longer than expected to track and extricate my deer. My step daughter killed her first deer and he and his worker allowed her to help clean it and taught her what goes into the process. I'll go no where else. Dixie deer processing is the best around!!!

This is a family owned business and they do an EXCELLENT job. Although there are multiple places that process deer near me in Bladen County, I drive an hour to have Myles process my harvest. At other places the “silver skin” was left on the steaks or the muscle groups weren’t separated into their separate cuts. Their attention to detail is excellent, as is the care they show for your harvest. Meat is vacuum sealed or wrapped in butcher paper as appropriate, and they have several seasonings they can add to your ground meat. I recommend the Ranch Burger. Sausage? They have it in links or loose. I like putting the links on the grill after boiling in some beer…kind of like a bratwurst. They can even do a “European Mount” of your deer’s skull and rack for about $100. It’s a great, traditional way to save your trophy without breaking the bank. If you need ammo he even has a supply of popular haunting calibers that you can buy when you drop off your deer. Are there cheaper places to have a deer processed? Yep, but there aren’t any better. I highly recommend this business.

Myles and the Dixie Deer family have provided amazing service for my family over the last 2 years. His care for the meat and the customer is 1st class. The fact that he sells corn and has his little store up and running males it the perfect one stop processor to get great meat and get backin the woods. Looking forward to next season.

I would highly recommend using this company if you are in the area. Great service, fast turn around, and some of the best products on the market. The Jalapeños Cheese specialty deer sausage is the best I’ve ever had in my life. They take actual cubes of cheese and dried jalapeños and stuff it into the sausage. There is so much cheese and its not over the top on heat, just the right amount of kick. I will have to try the Philly Cheesesteak Specialty Sausage the next time around. 10/10 experience.

Really great experience with Dixie Deer Processing. Great turn around time on processing my deer meat. They sale a variety of other meats. The aged steaks are awesome and well worth trying.

Myles is awesome! Really knows what he is doing. The hot sausage is my favorite. He is super flexible and works super hard to get you your meat back fast. Y’all should definitely check out Dixie deer.

This was my first time experience with Myles and I do hope I got your name spelled right. Anyway did a drop of service a week ago and went to pick up my deer meat. He was not home as I was there a bit early before 6:00 pm. But I must say his wife Hanna was exceptional and very accommodating. I can't thank her enough even to have her daughter in hand wrapped in a towel as she was preparing her for her bath. I want to thank her again for coming out and being so helpful. Oh by the way I didn't get your daughters name but she was sure to take the money LOL. Anyway I just want to say thank you and everything was packed very nicely and professional hope to be dropping one more off before season's end.

Called and was accommodated at a late hour. The young guy working on my daughter's deer was polite and professional. The meat was ready in less than a week. Was given the backstraps that nite for a meal the next day.
