We’ve trained with Katie for a few weeks at her Horns to Halos location and we have learned so much. After a break of a couple of weeks, she came to my house for the first time today and my dog soared with happiness to see her!! My heart exploded!! He recognized her immediately even in a new environment. Katie is absolutely amazing. She trains both of us, and I’m always amazed at how much I (key word I) learn in each lesson. My challenge is consistency. Katie is very patient and extremely observant. Her love of dogs and passion for what she does is admirable. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you, Katie! Katie (owner-trainer), Jen (trainer) and Lucas (groomer) all did such a fabulous job with our little Luna Mae. Luna (a Brittany Spoodle) was enrolled at 10 weeks old in the puppy primary classes for socialization and training. H2H trained not only our beloved pup but the family as well on how to carry out the cues taught. They take great care of all the dogs and get to know them well … Luna had a sore leg from vaccines and running too much in the yard at home, so they suggested she take a week off of school and return the following week. And when your vet says you have a well-mannered dog and can tell we have been working with her then you know you’ve made the right decision by enrolling her in training classes. I love the H2H program and truly loved watching the live training videos of all the pups. Katie is very responsive to all correspondence. Jen was excellent (excellent!!) with training and Lucas gave our girl a cute cut and she smelled awesome for days!! We will definitely enroll in Saturday classes and would encourage everyone to enroll in puppy classes!

I cannot say enough nice things about Horns to Halos! Our puppy, my husband and myself primarily worked with Jen and she was fantastic! We completed Puppy Primary and Puppy 2.0! In doing so she has given the 3 of us the tools we need to ensure Buddy becomes the companion we are looking for. We know we have a long road ahead due to his breed(s) but we now know we will get there! Katie, the owner, is terrific also and while being kept very busy with other clients was able to help out as well! We are so grateful & thankful that we chose to bring our puppy to you ladies! We had a fantastic experience with Horns to Halos Dog Training! Our puppy completed the Puppy Primary 1.0 and 2.0. We were amazed with what our puppy was learning and made sure to follow up with everything we learned at home. We (humans) learned A LOT too! Jen and Katie are extremely passionate about what they do, and it shows in their professionalism and love and care for the puppies/dogs. We always knew our puppy was in great hands! I had the pleasure of speaking with Jen about my dog's issues with chewing and not obeying commands. She listened to all of my concerns and gave great feedback. I will follow her advice and see how it works out. The great part was is that she didn't pressure me to enroll my dog in the training course, but gave me tips on how to succeed on my own. If it doesn't work out, I will enroll my dog in the training course ASAP! Thank you Jen for you time and great advice.

I can't give horns to halos enough praise! I knew I wanted a Chow Chow, and I knew it would be a difficult dog to raise on my own, so I enrolled my boy in Horns to halos puppy primary courses. They were so great with him! Muffintop wanted to go to school, he was always excited to get in the car and so SO happy to see Jen and Katie. Throughout puppy primary I got to see his progress through video and get personalized tips on what Muffintop needed to work on. In just two months he came such a long way! I was able to easily incorporate their tips at home, and now whenever we are out people remark at what a good boy the Muffin man is. We will be continuing to go to group classes now that he has graduated. Like I said, can't praise them enough!

I made the choice to bring Ginger here after seeing that she needed more hands on training. We'd done other options but hadn't seen any progress. She started off as a puppy who fought naps constantly, wouldn't settle, and would terrorize everyone and everything, leaving me a very tired pet parent in need of a break. Horns to Halos absolutely saved my sanity, haha. I hadn't owned a puppy in ten years and was completely blindsided by how demanding it was. I can't recommend these wonderful people enough for anyone who needs training for their dog. Ginger, while still a hyper bundle, has turned into a decently mannered puppy who can settle and take naps on her now. Thank you to everyone at Horns to Halos for giving her so much love and time! She will definitely be returning because she loves everyone there.

Don’t delay & get your pup enrolled here before they develop any bad habits. I had low expectations for our tiny pup because he was just old enough to get his first vaccinations to start, but darn if these ladies at Horns to Halos didn’t get us so far in 8 weeks. Not only did they train the puppy, but they guided us through such a crucial period & helped us learn what to look for in terms of puppy play, when they are overwhelmed, etc.. They provided genuinely helpful advice that extended beyond just the classes and you can see how much they truly love the puppies & the feelings are mutua. And if you are on the fence about signing up for both Puppy Primary and Puppy 2.0 - do it in one shot & save the extra money. 2.0 is where some of the more difficult work seemed to be done - the harder stuff for no only the puppy but us as well. But, it’s all the things you really want them to be able to do. I really can’t say enough good things about Jen & Katie. I already miss them so much.

Our new puppy Xena (Chihuahua) participated in the puppy classes, we were referred by the Vet. I can’t say enough wonderful thinks about Horns to Halos, Katie and her team work magic. After the first session we saw a huge difference in Xena by the end of the classes not only had Xena learned so much but by practicing at home with her our older (8 yr) yorkie Dante’s behavior has improved. I can’t recommend them enough or thank them enough for all their assistance in the training of our new puppy. Thank you Katie and Horns to Halos.

After finding my perfect pup I was confident in training her in basic skills such as sit, down, stay, and shake. I knew I needed help with moving beyond the basics and getting into loose leash walking, recall, and healing. Several vet's in the area recommended H2H since she also struggled fearing everything. I talked to many training facilities in the area. After calling H2H and talking to the owner she suggested I send Rue through puppy primary and then could move on to 2.0. Puppy primary was teaching her the basics. I assured her she knew the basics and didn't think she would get much more out of it. Katie suggested I face the wall with my hands down and ask Rue to sit. Rue was so confused, didn't sit and stared at me blankly. I was convinced. Puppy primary and 2.0 was so much more than what I expected. The trainers are AMAZING and taught me how to hold her in place so we can eat without guarding our food the entire time, how to build her confidence while socializing her to new experiences, loose leash walking by building an engaging walk with my dog, and positive play with other dogs (I could go on and on). Just as important as training Rue, they trained me on how to handle her, dog body language, and how to expand on what she learned. Jen answered the 99,000 questions I had during every hand-off with reassurance and a smile. I couldn't have found a better program for my girl and I'm excited to continue on to group classes with her.

I adopted Nugget in August 2021. He came from a situation where he had little, if any, socialization and had been shuffled around in 3 different houses. Within days, he was exhibiting aggressive behavior, including jumping on and biting my arms, feet, and legs when he didn’t get his way or I tried to remove dangerous items from him. I soon realized he needed one-on-one training and attention. Aida spoke with me for almost an hour before we ever met in person. We signed up for individual training, and Nugget and I have learned so much from her. He still has a way to go, but now he is much better behaved, can go in a store and not panic or be afraid. I have learned so much myself, including his need for breaks, decompression time between activities, his triggers, etc. I am so happy we were told about Horns to Halos! Worth every penny! Aida is so knowledgeable and patient with both of us!

I just took one of Katie's amazing classes. This class ( Dog Fight Seminar) is truly a class more people should consider taking. It is near and dear to me due to being involved in a dog attack. The entire team makes sure you feel like family as soon as you walk in there. Working with them you can tell how experienced all of the trainers are just by how they handle your dogs and how they teach you to handle them. Week after week our dogs were so excited to come to training. They offer so many services. Amazing facility and amazing trainers! I have a Min Pin, Luna, that was out of control and did not obey (she is EXTREMELY energetic). She was so crazy that I considered re-homing her since I was about to be a grandma and couldn’t handle having an out of control dog around a newborn which broke my heart because I love my dog. This is when I decided to give it one last shot and enrolled her in the board and train with Horns to Halos. Let me tell you that this is the best decision I could’ve made. Luna is a completely different dog and I am able to enjoy her and my grand baby at the same time! Katie and Aida did an amazing job and I am so thankful that they were able to help me! Luna is so well behaved that I get compliments from other people on her behavior! If you are looking to get your dog trained Horns to Halos is the place to go! I highly recommend this facility! These ladies are wonderful!! They are very kind and knowledgeable. They go the extra mile for every dog and dog owner. No harsh methods here, only love and kindness! The dogs respond very well and are always so happy and excited to learn in such a positive environment. I am very happy I signed up for classes here with my new puppy. We have learned so much and my puppy is always excited to go to class. The prices are very reasonable. If you are on a budget, definitely check out the group classes. The class sizes are small and you learn so much. I highly recommend. I loved them so much that i decided to do day training with both my dogs. So glad I did!! My dogs have transformed into well behaved, super happy pups. I couldn’t be happier!!

Took my dog in today for a much needed grooming. The building is very cleaning and the two ladies were extremely friendly and inviting. My dog was a little scared at first, but the groomer calmed her right down. Would recommend Horns to Halos grooming service to anyone looking for a high quality haircut for their dog. I plan to take my dog to Horns to Halos for future grooming needs.

Let me just say this up front, I highly recommend Horns to Halos. This place is awesome! The facility is a clean and positive atmosphere. The owners and staff are absolutely fantastic, extremely professional, kind, patient, and very well qualified. Each week they were prepared to address any problems or questions, review, and teach new things. We received excellent training and so did our active, loveable, silly 7 month old lab mix. We will continue using Horns to Halos for further training. You can't beat these trainers.

We have a dog-reactive pup, and were not looking forward to finding a new trainer when we moved to the area. Our old trainer (out of state) got us headed in the right direction, but we'd had some setbacks the with our 2 dogs during the move. When we scheduled our Horns to Halos consult, we were at a loss as to how to recover, but Katie and Aida listened with compassion and understanding. They helped us feel confident about a training plan to set us up for success.Fast forward 6+ months and Jubjub now knows how to calm himself down when he sees exciting things. We actually get to enjoy going on walks instead of being worried about other dogs. We're also prepared if we DO run into a sticky situation.Everyone in the house is happier because of Horns to Halos! They've taught us so much about how our dog thinks and sees the world, and that knowledge is priceless. We are and will always be better dog parents thanks to them. We've continued training with them because Jubjub enjoys it so much, and we learn something new every time!Grooming: Jubjub does not love his feet being touched, but Melissa and co. understand his limitations and work within his comfort zone! He has very sensitive skin and they had some options of shampoos and such that were less likely to irritate. He came out with nicely trimmed nails and squeaky clean! They do a great job and clearly care about making your pup comfy.

I’m so thankful for finding this place and the great people who run it. I have been taking my dog Bailey to training for 3 weeks now and the difference from then to today is unbelievable. She gets excited to go on walks, she is able to redirect her focus when she is around too much stimulation and gets overwhelmed, she isn’t getting fixated on things, and she’s an overall happier and much more relaxed dog due to coming here each week. I can’t thank Katie enough for recognizing the steps we needed to take when she first evaluated Bailey and for the effort and patience Aida has with her. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for dog training.
