I recently switched to going to the store rather than Piggly wiggly due to sanitary issues that I experienced at the Piggly wiggly and since I have switched over to going to Food Lion I have had an amazing experience the customer service is amazing the employees are all helpful and pleasant and they have great prices. The meat, dairy and vegetables are fresh. And you can earn a significant amount of points shopping.

Understand this. Food Lion is one of the most undervalued grocery stores, in my opinion. You can walk in and fresh food items you cant even find at Walmart are available. The deli is amazing, the bakery is amazing, the veggie and salad selection is amazing, and...in the meat area?? Ok sure, it's a smidge more pricey than Walmart but the quality is better. How many times have you heard about food lion having food recalls?Also, how many people walk past the pre-made dinner items? You no longer have to watch Gordon Ramsey shows to have good food. I got bacon wrapped cream cheese stuffed jalapenos pre-made and all I have to do is put it on a pan and throw it in the oven. I got spinach and feta cheese stuffed chicken breasts!! They have bacon wrapped meatloaf, shizhkabobs, pork loins, all sorts of cuts of fresh beef, fish, and chicken.....YA'LL!! GET YOU SOME FOOD LION FOOD AND EAT GOOD TONIGHT!!!!

I patronize FL often. As was expected, food costs was 35% higher, which was expected. But this store had what was needed, so I don't have to go to Wal-mk.Due to the fact that I have regularly patronized the Richlands store for many years because many of my friends used to work there, and my pharmacy is within the same complex.

I love food Lion I find some very good deals and I love Monday with a senior discount everyone that works there is so helpful its like going to see family I don't like grocery shopping but I kind of look forward to food Lion God bless you all ♥️😊

We were traveling back home from 4 hour trip. We stopped to get ingredients for Lasagna. We could not find Ricotta cheese, the manager helped us look varies places but all out. Meanwhile we were in checkout line and manager ran up to us with some in his hand. he said it was on the house!It was so nice and definitely will be back.Great service.

The prices and selection have always been pretty decent but this review is mostly for the customer service. I recently had an issue with finding what I believe was a bone in some sliced turkey from the deli so I contacted the online customer service and the next day I was contacted by the store manager to not only apologize but offer a refund or gift card for my trouble. I unfortunately missed the called but called back after he had gone home for the day and was informed by a store associate that as soon as the issue was brought to him he immediately talked to the deli workers and the batch was checked and thrown out and the supplier was notified. I scratched my throat on the bone but even so I understand mistakes happen and I didnt want to cause unnecessary trouble and being assured that the problem was very quickly taken care of and the supplier being notified so it wouldnt happen again shows me that these people are reliable and looking out for the customer.

Super dissapointed. They had no regular chicken breast or sausage. All they have is an abundance of organic foods, I can't stand that. They have lots of fresh stuff though and I love that. Also their deli is great. Iv never been a fan of food lion, it's over priced.

I have bought turkey burger and hamburger meat and they're both rotten!! This is the 3rd or 4th time have also bought chicken that was bad. I will NOT buy anymore meats from the food lion in Richlands. The people are all really nice and helpful and I have gotten some good value for other foods.

Overly priced, $12 for a bottle of ranch, $9 for a 12 pack of soda, $6 dollars for milk. Like their meat and produce section though.

Love this Food Lion! Just do yourself a favor and if the price displays wrong at the register (which happens rarely), pay for your order and have them adjust the price at customer service. Otherwise, you’ll be held up in the line for what feels like forever, and the person in line behind you won’t be too impressed.

Love how WIC is labeled for easier purchasing. Needs more organic cereals and organic yogurt for WIC. The organic yogurt was there, now it's not. Idk why? Dropped stars for that. Great for identifying what is WIC. Terrible for not enough Organic WIC stuff. Prices are very high if not buying WIC.

By far the best! Always clean and organized! Always enough registers open to handle the lines quickly! During COVID 19 they have employees at the door making sure all carts are cleaned before customers use them. Employees are very nice and helpful!

Everything was clean and well lighted. This store has a hot bar wing self serve setup over in front of the deli. Yummy rotisserie chicken, fried chicken and wedge fries you can select from in the hot bar section of the deli.

A pleasant place to shop, things are neat and clean. The meat department is my favorite place in the store. Lots of things to grill or smoke, good quality meats to choose from. The sells aren't bad either, Thank you, Linwood. ☺️
