I went there to purchase some Ribeyes for our Christmas meal. They were a great cut of beef. I will definitely be returning.

Solid prices for being the only grocery store in the area. Go when they have their sales on meat! Frank the owner works the floor and is super nice!

When you call to ask if they have a certain item in , they have to go the long way to ask if they carry the item? I called and asked doThey have any crab legs and somebody said we don’t sell them, hold on let me ask.. I said yes you sell them ,do you have any? They ask the manager ,the manager says yes we sell them..but are they asking do we have any in? Flat out “YES” ... there you have it... They never know what they carry in their own store.. No option of being connected to the meat department I guess, cashiers always answer and half of them don’t know what to say when you ask for certain things...Frustrating seriously.😤

Rich Square Market is a vital presence in this section of Northampton County. For it to be a smaller store, there is a wide variety of fresh fruit, vegetables, and meats in addition to standard pantry items. I also appreciate the sense of community spirit that the store has, both during the COVID-19 crisis and through holidays such as Christmas. You can tell that the friendly employees enjoy working there. I am always greeted when I enter and enjoy conversation at checkout.

Terrible staff and terrible selection. I worked here for about 7-8 months, was getting underpaid a lot. Had terrible coworkers who sat around and did nothing. And was fired because I got hurt by a fellow coworker while I was on the clock. I would never in a million years recommended this store or ahoskie market, do yourself a favor and don’t support them at all.

Decent selection for a small town grocery store. Don't get your hopes too high, but it'll do in a pinch for a quick dinner pickup. Meat section is usually really good and plentiful!

Was harrassed by employee, told to pull my pants down in the store after being accused of stealing. When asking the employees name I was told by said employee quote " Don't worry about my name" employee refused to apologize and was completely and utterly rude. I wouldn't recommend shopping here the employees are also extremely racist. Respect means nothing to these people. Let us touch your meet at rich square market! Pull em down!

I went to Red & White Supermarket, they always have great sausage. I also picked up some barbecue and coleslaw, good food and a great trip.

They are usually good on big bulks of meat, theyre meat department is nice and most of they're staff are but not all the cashiers. If you have wic foods you can only purchase on isle 1 and last time i was there you couldn't purchase all wic foods only some with a wic card.

With the hustle and bustle of a Wal-Mart store or Food Lion it's nice to see a small neighborhood market. Only been here a couple if times but with the cashiers knowing names and ending a sale with a "Thanks Shug", you know it's laid back and their focus is on doing a good job.Plenty of laughs, eagerness in answering questions, you find yourself wondering if you stepped back in time. You further start to wonder how come those big stores can't do the same.Step back in time and slow it down a bit and try this store when you get a chance.

we moved to Rich Square in Sept of 2016, and I'm gonna say this once and only once, if you want the best quality beef at a good price..... I mean beef so tender it melts in your mouth make the trip to Rich Square Market

Love those Jumbo brown eggs! We eat breakfast for supper most nights that we cook so we live getting sausage, bologna, jelly and bread in Rich Square.

Great selection of meat, the best meat prices around. Butcher's are right there to help and cut anything you want larger than what is out in the coolers.

Cant beat their prices and quality on meat. Wouldnt take my check the other day....I accidentally left my bank card at home....and I have been coming here spending a couple hundred dollars a week for YEARS. Annoyed me...but wont stop me from coming back

This store has a variety of food items and a large variety of meats. Prices on meat are pretty reasonable, other items you have to compare.
